Holiday rentals with lake access in Viseu District

Petite maison très mignonne au bord du Rio, aménagée dans un moulin, c’est rustique mais à la fois tout a été aménagé et pensé pour prendre du bon temps, avec tout le confort possible (et même des jeux à disposition, une machine à café etc). Il y a énormément d’espaces pour se mettre, bien que la maison soit très sombre comme elle est dans des murs anciens, mais le jardin est tout simplement magnifique. Entre le bruit du ruisseau qui passe en dessous de la terrasse, les fleurs et les transats pour s’installer on était au paradis! Tout était propre et en place pour notre arrivée. La maison est juste à côté d’un pont et nous avons été balader aux alentours c’était vraiment super sympa. Un très beau restau est à 2 min de voiture de la pour une ambiance plus chic aussi appréciable! Merci beaucoup :)

This place is incredible. A renovated house from the medieval period, it’s even more impressive than the pictures. The setting is beautiful, with a view of the valley right out the bedroom window. The place itself is spotless and the automated check-in was a breeze. The host even had a bottle of wine waiting for us, and it’s well stocked with coffee. Like most homes in the region, be prepared to drive for groceries and restaurants - and take note that the drive to the house is steep downhill and at times narrow - but take it slow and you’ll be fine. The location of this place is perfect if you want to visit both Porto and the Douro valley. 10/10 would recommend!

Это наша лучшая остановка за время путешествия по Португалии. В доме есть все что нужно, внутри просто приятно находится. Мы ещё попали в момент когда в Португалии пропало электричество и связь - так хозяйка и её семья проявили нереальную заботу - и свечки принесли, и мангал разожгли и предлагали еду - ну такого классного "апокалипсиса" у нас никогда не было! Рекомендую однозначно!

What a wonderful little estate setting to stay at. Beautiful surroundings all around, very private & peaceful. The apartment has a great layout with spectacular bathrooms and a huge kitchen & living room area. Carlos was quick to respond to any questions. The inground pool is lovely, sadly the weather was not hot enough for a dip. Great location with a quick 90min drive to Porto. Surrounding cities within 30 minutes like Viseu.

A casa ainda é melhor do que parece nas fotos e na descrição. Grande e confortavel, com tudo o que pode ser necessario. O espaço exterior é otimo, eramos 10 pessoas e havia espaços para todos, o deck tem vistas maravilhosos onde passamos as tardes e espaço para os miudos brincarem e jogarem à bola. As camas eram confortaveis e como eram no piso superior permitam ter uma separação do barulho no piso inferior. O Carlos esteve sempre disponível, foi um otimo anfitrião, com respostas rapidas e sempre disponível. é um sitio a voltar em grupo.

in general, this is a very good place to stay in. Hugo is nice but not very responsive. the place has a unique vibe since it set up as a small village rather then a house. meaning the toilets are out side the house. water pressure is very low so we had to take woderfull baths. the soccer table did not had balls to play with and that room was rather dirty. the water are not good for drinking and the closest place to get water is 15 min. drive. too bad he didn't mention that. the house had an odd smell of old people's house. can use some refreshment. other then that it is really an excellent place to stay in.

I so enjoyed my stay in this stunning stone house built by the host's direct relatives! I was truly charmed by the soft tinkling of goats' bells in the pasture, the adorable village dog known and loved by all, a private porch, a crackling fire on a chilly night. This village and it's people are really special, experimenting with organic farming and regularly offering multi-generational events. I was even invited to a village party that included impromptu music, singing and dancing. Self-taught musicians played accordians, guitars and ukuleles while their neighbors & relatives danced. If I moved to Portugal (I wish I could!) I would want to vacation here for a month every year. It's a perfect spot for a writer's retreat, quiet reflection or uninterrupted time together as a couple. The kitchen is a fully functional kitchen, with all the pots, pans, implements and appliances you could possibly need to prepare and serve a meal for 10 (even an immersion blender!)

We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful little stop. The villagers were very friendly and the river was lovely for a refreshing dip. Nuno was very helpful and the place was spotless and had everything one needs

The place was basic and clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. I was shown around before handed the keys. Parking is free around the apartment but tight so be careful with hire cars (mine was scratched). It's about a 10min walk into the town area, there is a great family run restaurant to the right of the apartment and a few bars nearby. The nearest big supermarket is about 3mins drive away.

Ruhe am Wasser (am Ende der Welt) Die Unterkunft war erst nach telefonischer Rückfrage zu finden, obwohl es nur wenige Gebäude im Ort hat. Dieser liegt SEHR abgeschieden, wer länger bleiben will, sollte gut einkaufen. Es hatte lediglich zwei Cafes und ein (geschlossenes) Restaurant dort. Der nächste Laden ist etwa eine 1/2 Stunde Autofahrt entfernt. Eine Anreise mit dem Zug wäre jedoch ebenfalls möglich. Es liegt jedoch traumhaft schön direkt am Fluss und der Verkehr an Schiffen, Zügen und Autos lässt sich fast zählen. Besonders hat mir die Umgebung mit den vielen Blumen, der Zugang zum Wasser und die vielen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten im Freien gefallen, sowohl am Schatten, als auch an der Sonne. Wer eine Bootstour machen will, braucht nicht wegzufahren, der Gastgeber macht ebenfalls solche. Ebenfalls kann man bei ihm Boote mieten, Tipps zum Fischen gab es dazu. Die Unterkunft ist ihren Preis wert, ist gut ausgestattet und Parkplätze am Schatten hat es auch. Besten Dank an alle

A Lianne é o Ricardo mostraram-se sempre disponíveis e preocupados para qualquer dúvida que eu tivéssemos, os dias que passámos lá foram muito agradáveis. O Ricardo apresentou nos todas as éguas que tinha na quinta e até nos deixou montar numa delas, a Boneca. Obrigada aos dois por nos fazerem sentir em casa.

Apartamento muy bien ubicado y en una zona tranquila. Salón muy espacioso y camas cómodas. Tenía todo lo que podíamos necesitar tanto en la cocina, como en las habitaciones. A 10 minutos teníamos un supermercado y la estación de autobuses. La anfitriona super amable y muy atenta, un 10 para ella.

Apartamento muito tranquilo, silencio total, limpeza impecável a cama muito confortável o que facilita e muito o descanso. O apartamento fica a 15 minutos a pé das termas que se faz tranquilamente junto ao rio, comunicação foi fácil e rápida, recomendo vivamente a estadia nesta habitação.

Andre's place is in a great location in the Douro Valley. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Salienta-se limpeza ótima e boas condições da habitação. a senhora rosa é uma pessoa honesta, transparente, responsável e que ajuda sempre que é necessário. a localização é muito boa. Não é necessário usar o carro no dia a dia. O prédio é calmo e na maioria das vezes silencioso.

Siamo stati 4 giorni nella casa di Ysabel, con le indicazioni ottenute é stato intuitivo trovare la casa che al nostro arrivo si presentava come da descrizione. Lo spazio risultava più che buono, la vista sul fiume un surplus, inoltre siamo riusciti comodamente a fare le nostre visite a Porto e dintorni in giornata in più ci sono tutti i servizi a 10 minuti dalla casa. Ysabel e il suo compagno sono stati discreti come se non ci fossero ma sempre pronti per un sorriso e se avessimo avuto bisogno di qualcosa. Grazie di tutto Tony Ileana e Vittorio

Wir haben unsere kurze Woche sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt direkt am See und man ist weit weg von der Welt. Es gibt noch 2 weitere kleine Wohnungen und 2 Glamping Zelte aber es ist es einfach still und man erholt sich toll. Das Haus ist neu, alle ist sauber und funktioniert, große Fenster für eine gute Aussicht, das kleine Kinderzimmer super praktisch, das Bett mit harter Matratze, die Küche hatte Alles was man braucht. Es war alles sehr sauber. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage (da Solarstrom) aber die haben wir selbst im August nicht gebraucht. Der See vor der Tür ist leider nicht klar, das Ufer Sand/Schlick und mit Wurzeln, aber war ruhig und angenehm warm sodass wir viele Stunden vom Tag im Wasser verbracht haben. Die kostenlosen Kanus, Kajaks und SUPs waren toll für die Kinder und zwei Ausflüge. Am schönsten waren die Morgen: Mit einem frischen Kaffee auf der Terrasse sitzen, den stillen See und einen einsamen Angler beobachten und einfach der Natur zuhören. Wir planen wieder zu kommen!

Die Unterkunft ist einfach grandios. Es ist mitten in der Natur, sehr ruhig und sehr naturnahe. Man hört die Vögel, das Wasser. Es ist einfach ein magischer Ort und perfekt um bei sich anzukommen oder die Ruhe zu genießen. Ich habe es geliebt am Wasser zu meditieren oder Yoga zu machen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage.

Espaço muito tranquilo, silencioso e agradável. Casa pequena mas muito simpática. Cama de casal tem um colchão magnífico. O acesso à casa é feito por uma estrada de terra acessível mas um pouco longa.

I would use the word "Exceptionnel" for this stay. The chalet was almost new, everything was well done, functional, well equipped and decorated with a lot of taste. As the place is a bit remote, the environment is also very calm and relaxing. Would return any time.
