Had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing getaway. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect. Very peaceful location and the atmosphere was welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful experience! Rebecca was an absolutely outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. My family and I had such a peaceful stay. The home and location were incredibly tranquil, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house and property were absolutely beautiful, and we loved sipping our morning coffee on the amazing balconies with the breathtaking views. There is so much space, and every room in the house is well thought out, functional, and cozy. The pool is even better than we hoped, so big and clean and in immaculate condition. We spent most of our time swimming and relaxing by the pool. We also enjoyed playing pool and having so many rooms to gather in with the comfort of plenty of new comfy furniture. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind for a vacation away from all the noise and chaos of daily life. Every single area was as described in the listing and better. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

We felt like at home. The house is located in a private property with swimming pool and tennis courts. It’s very clean and very peaceful. Just a clarification about the description : there’s no bathroom in the basement. Then if you come with elderly people or very young kids, it could be annoying. If you like cooking, the kitchen is very well equipped. We´ll keep a very good memory of our stay in Ducktrap Retreat during the colorful foliage season.

Booked this place for our anniversary to get away from the city for a weekend.. we found exactly what we were looking for! The hot tub was wonderful, the house was clean and cute, and we had everything we could have needed! Estelle was very responsive and gave clear instructions for everything. Would recommend this place for a quiet getaway or a small group trip in the summer!

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

I recently stayed with my family at this incredible Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. This property offered a hot tub, a pool table, and a level of privacy and tranquility that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to watch the northern lights from the hot tub – it was absolutely magical. We spent a week in Acadia, and the location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes from Bar Harbor or the nearest town. The hosts were very responsive, and the place was fantastic for families, being both kid and pet friendly. It was a week filled with unforgettable moments, and I can't recommend this place enough!

There’s not enough words to say how wonderful Alana was from the initial booking to check out. We have booked a lot of Airbnb’s and this is our all time favorite. The location is amazing with the water view. I was so excited about the decor I spent an hour sending pictures to my daughter. We really loved the history behind the house too. This is our new go-to everytime we visit the area. Thank you for sharing such an incredible home!

Ben and Lauren's cottage was exactly as listed and very welcoming! We had everything we needed for eating in and a list of good restaurants for eating out. The cottage location makes it easy to drive to Freeport or up the coast to Bar Harbor and the Acadia National Park. We enjoyed our stay in Owls Head, Maine! Thank you so much!

My husband and I frequent the Pemaquid Peninsula during all seasons. Sometimes we camp, sometimes we find hidden gems to stay for a weekend...Ken's Cottage is a keeper...Triple Check!!! Home away from home. This is my second time staying here and we just love it. Centrally located to restaurants, shopping, and museums. The cottage is cozy and clean.

The cottage was beautiful, I loved the artwork and light fixtures. The small details made Babettes home lovely and peaceful. I enjoyed watching the deer in the back meadow in the evenings and was most appreciative that my pup was welcomed there as well. I highly recommend if you tee looking for a quite get away

Rocky's Owls Head house is absolutely wonderful. I had stayed at the property a couple times prior and always delivers an exceptional experience. The house is located in a beautiful spot with a gorgeous view of the bay. There is lots of space, several places for me to work, and has everything in the kitchen you could need. I especially loved the upstairs bedroom with the king bed and wonderful view. I will definitely visit again as soon as possible. Highly recommend for a family or friends for a beautiful vacation with all the experiences of Maine. Lovely restaurants nearby with lobster and seafood galore! Thanks Rocky for the outstanding experience!

This was my favorite Airbnb experience to date. Hannah and Aja's house was beautiful and welcoming. Their space and design is so thoughtful and we immediately felt right at home. Hannah was incredibly responsive and accommodating when our travel arrangements shifted last minute. Would certainly recommend this home if you are traveling with a toddler as their space is fully equipped for a young child. Our family had the best stay at this home and are eager to return ASAP.

This house was amazing—hosts really have thought of everything when it comes to guest experience! Kayaking out to the tiny islands in the bay a couple times allowed us to see horseshoe crabs and bald eagles up close. The fire pit was great and the “s’mores station” with supplies in the kitchen upon arrival was so cute and thoughtful. Our three kids loved this place and didn’t want to leave at the end of the week. Our boys especially loved the lower level game room with ping-pong, arcade games, and pop-a-shot. The kids also loved reading on the sofa in the upstairs loft overlooking the kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked dinner there a couple times during the week. The hosts gave great local recommendations as well—the craft beer at Fogtown Brewing in Ellsworth (less than 15-min. drive) is excellent, and it is very kid-friendly with a large outdoor eating area and wood-fired pizza. We’d love to return to this house! Mosquitoes are fierce so bring bug repellent.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Noah's home is a little slice of paradise on the coast of Maine. It's private, cozy, and surrounded by stunning nature. We found the home very clean and well-cared for. My husband, children, and I spent a week unwinding at Noah's home and only wish we could have stayed longer. We particularly loved the fireplace, well-appointed kitchen, and the kayaks. Beds were super comfortable. Views were gorgeous and location perfect jumping off point to explore nearby Blue Hill and Deer Isle/Stonington. Highly recommend visiting during autumn. We can't wait to return!

The house was cozy and comfortable with all amenities we could need. The kitchen was huge and had a ton of pots and pans and every implement and accessory we could possibly want. We loved the living room, which was filled with books and music, and an invitation from RIch to listen to/read whatever we liked. We also loved the quiet surroundings. It was lovely and peaceful. I would definitely recommend the property and the owner.

We loved our time and stay at Elana’s place. The house is beautifully designed and decorated and we appreciated the thoughtful upgrades in bedding, soaps, overall decor, etc. We were a group of 4 (two couples) and we each had more than enough space to ourselves. We spent most of our time during the day out and about either on hikes (drove to Acadia one day!) or visiting the shops and restaurants in the village. Coming back to the house in the evenings felt like coming home. Camden is a postcard town with great food/ restaurants, nature activities and stunning views. We stayed for a full week and felt like we ran out of time. We can’t wait to come back!

Lisas place is now one of our favorite places anywhere. You could throw a rock into the water from the house. Its right on the water. The bed was super comfortable, house super clean. It was awesome. Staying here, you really never need to leave the island.

This was our 4th stay at Bobbie’s house! We love it for the beautiful surroundings, close proximity to great restaurants and Bobbie’s house is always so comfortable and extremely clean. We feel so comfortable there. We got to experience a gorgeous winter snowfall. Bobbie’s husband Colin came and plowed and shoveled for us! We saw lots of deer, some wild turkeys and the majestic bald eagle. We are already looking forward to our next trip! Thank you Bobbie!

Mary and Jason’s farmhouse is a peaceful and pleasant escape. The farmhouse is nestled in a beautiful, quiet town away from the touristy streets of Bar Harbor, but still close enough to drive there and enjoy the national park. There are also plenty of hikes around Deer Isle, if you wanted to stay local. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and has plenty of indoor and outdoor space to relax, read a book, etc. Another HUGE plus: they are dog friendly! My dog loved the grassy area to run around and play ball. The hosts are very helpful and quick with responses, even late at night due to my late check in. Great location, great hosts. I would definitely come back!

We loved our stay here. The view is fabulous and my dog loved the large fenced yard. The house is beautiful and was extremely clean. I would definitely return in the future.
