Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Vimmerby

We had a wonderful stay at Björn's place. The highlight was canoeing to a small island with the kids. It was such a beautiful place. Great recommendation from the host. The surroundings were also perfect! Thanks for great stay! :)

A dream of a typical Swedish cottage. We felt right at home Everything was clean and cozy. The location is very remote, but that's exactly how we wanted it. Pure nature and great for relaxing. Thank you so much for having us as your guests.

We had a wonderful stay at Nicole and Tobias house. It is a truly extraordinary experience to spend time in such a remote place. We could see the most beautiful starry nights and at days you could hear and see a lot of animals around the house. Nicole was quick replying, proactive and even brought us some of the eggs her hens laid and Tobias gave us a warm welcome even though we arrive pretty late at night. We had an altogether great time and would love to come back sometime.

We had a wonderful week with Michael and Therese in Nydal. The house is just amazing! Especially the huge window front with the great view of the private jetty with rowing boat inspired us every morning! The amenities are great, everything you need for a great stay is there. In our opinion, the house is perfect for 4 people. The location is quiet, and Mönsteras is approx. 5 minutes. There you will find supermarkets, a gas station, a bakery, restaurants, shops and even a small cinema. We used the central location for some excursions to Öland and Kalmar or to Vimmerby.

We spent a few nights here and it was the perfect oasis away from city life. The aesthetics felt like walking into a well curated design magazine but with the comfort and coziness of a peaceful escape. Christin’s place had all the amenities we needed and had a great amount of local recommendations, and she was super responsive when we had questions. Would stay again!

What we were looking for: A relaxing time in Sweden. What we found: A "home away from home". We felt comfortable from the first moment. The cottage is lovingly and cozy. A wonderful place for relaxing days in Sweden with great activities in the area for children. The garden is beautiful for a relaxing time in the hammock or a round of kicking and playing in the sandbox. Micha and Katja were great hosts who welcomed us warmly and helped us with tips and information. We would come back anytime!

We (2 adults and two kids of 2 years and 4 years) spend 4 nights at this place, and had the best vacation in a long time. Absolutely beautiful place, and lots of things to do. We used most of our time just enjoying the garden. There were much to see and do nearby, but we just liked to stay at this place and completely relax :) Jonas and Jana were very nice and helpful! We hope to come back!

Great location—very peaceful, and the lake is beautiful. Sven is an amazing host: very responsive and super friendly. We had a wonderful time at his house and really enjoyed the getaway from the city. The house is small but well-equipped, and the bed is really comfortable. The highlight for us was the nature and the tranquility, especially while relaxing in the hot tub after a long hike (the nearby Norra Kvill National Park is amazing!). All in all, a great experience—highly recommended! 😊

We had a very nice week in Bart's Villa Kunterbunt. Our 2-year-old son loved the garden and the play area in the attic with play kitchen and wooden train. The house is small but well suited for 3 people. There was a baby travel bed for our son, as he was still too small to sleep in the alcove. Bart was very kind and helpful, phoned us before arrival and explained everything to us. The house is a bit lonely, there are only a few neighboring houses. Nearby there is a lake with a beautiful swimming area, it is 15 minutes to Eksjö and an elk park, and about 50 minutes to Vinmerby, Katthult and Bullerbyn. We will be happy to come back!

An incredibly large and beautiful apartment, with a super nice bathroom, large and well-equipped kitchen. The apartment even has a pool table, 2 seating areas and a dining table that matched the number of people. We were 4 adults and 4 children and had plenty of space, both in bedrooms, living rooms and kitchen. I have stayed in a hotel room, etc. with overall less space than there is in the bathroom, which is more like a ballroom, with a 2-person jacuzzi, a delicious shower niche and even a large sauna. Frida is very helpful, thoughtful and kind. Absolutely recommended for a trip with the family in Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's world.

We arrived late and left early. We had a good dialogue with the hosts before arrival. They always responded very quickly when we had any questions. The apartment was clean and fresh and met our expectations. Thank you so much for us!

This accommodation was excellent for a family of 7 and we would definitely stay again. The apartment in all respects + blankets, pillows, sheets and towels were very neat and clean. We stayed here for just under a week and, thanks to the washing machine, we were able to take care of our laundry. Everything you need was also found in the kitchen and we spent a relaxing time in the accommodation. Its location allows for a lot and we deviated from it for several days on the trip, such as several days in Vimmerby and its surroundings, but also on the island of Öland. The instructions for arrival were clear, communication was fast and the folder in the kitchen had good information about the accommodation and living environment. Thanks again!!

We had a great week walking with our kids in the footsteps of Astird Lindgreen. Bullerbü, Katthult, Vimmerby and Mariannelund were easily accessible. There is a nice swimming lake near the apartment. The food at Anki's cafe is highly recommended. We have experienced a lot and have recovered well at the same time thanks to the spacious apartment and the tranquility in Karlstorp. Thank you!

The house is very comfortable, with all the amenities and above all it has made us feel at home, well connected with bus services in a quiet place. Christina was very kind and attentive at all times. Thank you !

We celebrated Christmas and New Year's Eve in this accommodation. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful villa in the middle of nature. There is a lake behind the house and in front of the house you can walk directly into the forest. Perfect! Big plus was that we were allowed to bring our dogs. They also had a wonderful vacation! The house is spacious and confortable. Ingatorp is a quiet and idyllic place. Nearby, there is a lot to do and see. Everything was in the house and there are two bathrooms. In summary, wonderful house!

Me and my partner plus some friends needed a place quickly and booked this the day before check-in. It was very easy to check in as the host didn't have to be on site to let you in. It was clean and had great amenities at a very good price. Would really recommend it!

The location was perfect for walks in the surrounding nature and a visit to the charming town of Eksjö is highly recommended. We had a wonderful time in Johan's house. The house and garden are very large and we enjoyed spending a lot of time there. Johan and Anna were easy to reach, very friendly and helpful! We felt very comfortable!

Åsa's house is very charming, with a lovely conservatory where you can sit and enjoy yourself when it rains, lots of games for the garden and nice kitchen all the room. There were fresh flowers when we arrived and Åsa was very flexible with respect to special wishes. Åsa is a very attentive host and the house had everything you need in a home. A warm recommendation from us.
