Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sweden

We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay at Susanna and Krister's listing. The decor was welcoming and beautifully curated. The outdoor spaces were little slices of heaven we were eager to enjoy. Susanna and Krister were lovely and attentive hosts and we would love to stay here again!

We were two in Ingrid's house and enjoyed the time there very much! There is a wood-fired sauna and a cozy fireplace. The surroundings are quiet and lush green in summer, with grazing animals right in front of you. The street in front of the house is not very busy and did not bother us much. In the kitchen, we found all the utensils we needed and the bathroom is modern. We would book the house again, Ingrid is a great host.

We stayed in the house for 6 days with my spouse and our child, and we were extremely satisfied with everything. One of the highlights was the stunning sea view — enjoying our morning coffee while looking out at the water was such a peaceful start to the day. The jacuzzi was also a great touch — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it ideal for spending quality family time. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families

Fantastic welcome to the house where there were also beautiful tulips and waiting, a nice touch. Brilliant beautiful house fully equipped with everything we needed. Clean nice and just the environment we were hoping for. Looking out over beautiful surroundings morning and evening! It was an unexpectedly cold weekend when the house is nice to be inside and play games in and we especially appreciated the excursion to Väddö farm dairy with the children. Nice swimming area a short walk away!

Great place, just like the photos and description. We had a wonderful and relaxing time while there, and got very lucky to get some sun during most of or days there.

Jack and Maria were wonderful, attentive hosts, with a beautiful property. Maria kindly warmed the sauna up upon our arrival and we were able to swim in the lake shortly after upon her guidance. The house is lovely and is connected very well to the city centre by the ferry which we loved, alongside great trails for running and walking. Jack and Maria were also kind enough to let us check out late - all of which was greatly appreciated. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We spent 9 days in Patrik's house. A wonderful place, modernly furnished and yet cozy as at home. Large kitchen with lots of equipment, nice bathroom, comfortable beds. We had wonderful weather and were able to make good use of the terrace and the seats by the fireplace in the evening. The location by the forest and the lake is unique and the tranquility there is soothing. The house was our most beautiful AirBnB - so far.

The cabin was just perfect, surrounded by mother nature itself and directly at the sea. Really nice and calm place to get rid of the daily stress. I can definitely recommend this accommodation!

This is a really excellent place. The apartment was really nice, clean, and cosy. The host had made excellent descriptions, and they were really nice. The surroundings were also really nice and quiet. There were many places to walk, a lot of nature. There are only positive things to say about this place :)

Thomas' place was extremely comfortable: welcoming, cozy, and convenient. The lake view from the shawl is beautiful! Thomas has been a very responsive and friendly host.

We stayed at the property for one night. The room was sufficient for one night. It was clean and the kitchen as well as the bathroom were equipped with all the necessary things. The check-in was very flexible via a key box. There were even drinks for us in the refrigerator, as well as small snacks ☺️

Everything was great, Marie and her husband were so nice and the place was to die for!

Wonderful views with character and charming features in a fantastic location, walking distance to everything. Apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator. A great great host, very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Gamla Stan!

A beautiful apartment, spacious and in the perfect location to tour Stockholm

Magnus was an excellent communicator and his place was as described. The location was great and we walked everywhere because the weather was beautiful. We did a bike tour, the Vasa Museum, Royal Palace and ate a lot of great food! It was so nice to come back to a comfy apartment to relax. The washer/dryer was a nice benefit as we prepared for our next journey. Thank you for a great stay Magnus!

(6 adults, 12 days) House + surroundings are fantastic. More beautiful than in the photos. House + kitchen very well equipped. Large master bedroom (wardrobe, bathroom (double shower + bathtub) large bed + TV). 2nd room - nice bed, but no wardrobe, so also smaller. 3rd room has bunk bed and a 140 cm wide bed + dressing room. More like a children's room. We swapped rooms after a week. 2nd + 3rd shared bathroom (shower) + TV room House has large windows, is flooded with light + offers a breathtaking view of the lake. Large terrace with fireplace, grill and various furniture. Negative points: Some kitchen machines + grill were not clean, but this is more due to the previous visitors. The duvets and mattresses showed signs of use. Linda + Michael were always available + very accommodating. I can only recommend the accommodation + would like to spend my vacation there again. Tack så mycket!

We had a wonderful stay at the forest house! The place is very lovingly decorated, clean and cozy – you feel right at home. The location in the middle of nature is fantastic and ideal for unwinding. Communication with Caroline was also super friendly and straightforward. We will be happy to come back and can only recommend the house!

This was one of the best AirBnBs we ever stayed in. The beautiful setting, the great and well designed house, the greenhouse with fresh vegetables , the perfect fireplace and the small boat trips are only trumped by Johanness welcome and openness going out of his way to make sure we have the perfect escape. We were 6 adults and 4 children and everyone was super happy!!! Everyone loved the pool, the children did not want to leave the house, they wanted to swim all the time. Foldable ping pong tables were used frequently. There were many board games. The view is fantastic. Very nice patios. A top apartment to rent with a host who was very easy to get in touch with if a question arose. Can be highly recommended.

Stayed 5 nights as a family of 6 and loved every minute. Amazing house and location. Ludvig and Anna couldn't have been more helpful. Huge thanks - I'm sure we will be back!

We were allowed to enjoy 1 week in a fantastic spacious house with a huge terrace and breathtaking views of the Glafsfjorden. As a bonus, the easy-to-use Jacuzzi with 36-38 degrees of warm water. Elisabeth is really an extremely nice and friendly host! The area is surrounded by huge forest areas, with many mushrooms. We were also lucky with the weather, almost only sunshine and beautiful sunsets😃 We look forward to seeing you again!

Very nice accommodation where we could comfortably stay 12 people. Large kitchen that is well-suited for cooking. Nice and uncomplicated communication with the host. Easily accessible and detailed information about the house as well as check in/out. Would love to come back.
