The location was quiet, authentic and just right if you are looking for the real thing - far from the masses, but with everything you need. We had a lovely stay at Giada's. Finally, a house that has a soul (Ikea housing enthusiasts, please pass by) and that invites us to feel "at home". The view is magnificent and the small garden area allows a well-deserved rest after the days of visiting the city. From the Vergato train station, which is only a few km away, you can easily reach Bologna, Parma and Florence. Giada was very responsive in facilitating our arrival and communication was always very good during our stay. In short, if you like calm, authenticity and beautiful landscapes, this is the place to come.

We felt right at home in Marco’s home! The house itself was so inviting and homey—and it was very well-equipped! The gardens were stunning! We spent every evening in the backyard smelling roses and racing my toddler’s play cars— it was heavenly! The scenery is breathtaking and the weather was gorgeous! Marco was so kind and a plethora of knowledge and suggestions for things to do in the area and beyond! Plenty of linens, dishes, cookware, seating, etc. We wanted for nothing!! The local grocery stores had plenty of options and every Coop had a playground— a major perk to my toddler! ;) We cooked many meals in the kitchen with ease and my husband worked from home there without any issues with technology or connectivity. Marco was even so kind as to leave a monitor, keyboard, and printer! We only wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back! I cannot say enough about this wonderful home! My toddler keeps requesting to go back and we feel the same! Grazie mille, Marco!
