Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Vaxholm

Jenny's house in Lidingö was truly wonderful! The home is warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated, reflecting the genuine charm of a family living there. The stunning views made our stay unforgettable, and waking up every morning to such a peaceful setting felt incredibly special. Jenny was thoughtful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed to feel right at home. We appreciated all the personal touches and warmth throughout the house—it truly felt like staying with friends. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Stockholm.

Our family had a wonderful weekend in the house in Ingarö. Johan and Linda welcomed us in person, they are wonderful hosts. The house is built with quality and love for details. Well equipped, we lacked nothing, clean and warm. We traveled by car, so we managed to visit several local natural treasures - Björnö nature reserve, Artipelag. 10 minutes walk from the house there is access to the water where you can relax and enjoy the local landscape. Stockholm is in about 30 minutes drive from the house.

This little house is one very special place on earth. We spent one week there and loved everything about it, especially the garden, the cozy living room and how Antonios and Yvonne made us feel very welcome right from the start. The location is great for visiting Stockholm or exploring the archipelago, which we did a lot, but we also had a great time just staying at the house and relaxing (and in the evening: watching deer in the garden). The weather was a bit cold when we were visiting so we couldn't use the outside area as much, but it is very cozy inside as well. There's absolutely nothing negative to say about this beautiful place! :)

Our time at this place was just fantastic! From the first moment, we felt incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness and coziness of the house were outstanding, and the lovingly designed details of the furnishings inspired us again and again. Each room was furnished with so much taste and a sense of something special that it resulted in a harmonious and inviting overall picture – almost like a home away from home. The sauna and fireplace in particular perfectly rounded off our stay and provided unforgettable moments of well-being. An absolute highlight was the snowfall on New Year's Eve, which turned the already picturesque surroundings into a true winter wonderland. This combination of fantastic scenery and exceptional accommodation has made our Sweden vacation just as we had dreamed of it. We would have liked to have stayed longer! Cozy cottage on Yxlan. We were four adults and two small children, the cottage had everything we needed and it was very close to the sea.

We stayed 4 nights in this beautiful house. The location is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. Nevertheless, Stockholm and some nature reserves are easily accessible by car or bus. However, we used the well-equipped kitchen and the grill, so we cannot comment on restaurants. From our point of view, we can only recommend a stay!

We stayed with our two sons for five nights at Toms appartment and felt immediately at home. It had everything we needed, many things to visit nearby and just down the street. Tom and Sunnöve asked in advance if we feel comfortable. Our great plus was the rooftop terrace. We loved sitting there in the evening, having a glas of wine and watching the silouhette of Stockholm. Thanks for having us. Tack så mycket!

It was a great place for 3 of us. We were able to walk or take public transportation to most places.

Charming home with updated amenities in the perfect location to explore Stockholm. Bella was a very welcoming and helpful host. She provided information on all of her favorite places. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

Thank you to our hosts for a great stay near Stockholm. It was 20-25 minutes by car to go visit the city. The area was a nice quiet neighborhood and accommodated our family of 5. Great kitchen and space to eat together and relax. The area was great for running as well.

A beautiful apartment, spacious and in the perfect location to tour Stockholm

Magnus was an excellent communicator and his place was as described. The location was great and we walked everywhere because the weather was beautiful. We did a bike tour, the Vasa Museum, Royal Palace and ate a lot of great food! It was so nice to come back to a comfy apartment to relax. The washer/dryer was a nice benefit as we prepared for our next journey. Thank you for a great stay Magnus!

We had beautiful, relaxed days in this wonderful and very tastefully furnished holiday home on the quiet but easily accessible island. The infrastructure and equipment are very good and well thought out, we lacked nothing. Many foods, spices, etc. were available in the house and the supermarket on the neighboring island was easily accessible by boat. The small electric boat was great for exploring the nearby coast and made shopping on Möja a nice excursion. Even in the rain, it was very cozy and we enjoyed nature in any weather through the large windows. In the evening, even deer came by.

Birgitta’s house is absolutely beautiful! Both the house and the backyard, not to mention the views over the fields are just stunning. All of us staying were blown away by the historic charm and abundance of space - we would love to come stay again!

Lennart and Chicki's house is a stunning stay. The view is just amazing and sitting watching the boats go by was so calming and relaxing. it's not far to drive to Saltsjõbaden where there are restaurants and cafes and a supermarket. It's best to have a car to stay here. The fact that it's slightly off the beaten path is the thing that makes it so special. The house has everything you need - comfy beds, great shower, big outdoor area, nice kitchen. Chicki was great to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks for the lovely stay 🙂

A great stay with incredible views and a very cosy space. We really appreciated the tranquility, the private feeling and Stora Jakutsin on the terrace – a perfect place to relax and unwind. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. We will definitely book again!

Kitchen has all the equipment you could want. Beds are comfy. Lots of places to sit inside and out - especially the front porch, which is a suntrap with a view of the sea. Some great recommendations of places locally to visit. Plus some nice restaurants - though need a car, nothing walkable. 15 minute drive to a station (with free parking) for direct train into Stockholm (45 mins). 30 minute drive to Vaxholm where you can pick up boats to the islands. A beautiful location, we had a lovely stay.
