Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Vaxholm

Jenny's house in Lidingö was truly wonderful! The home is warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated, reflecting the genuine charm of a family living there. The stunning views made our stay unforgettable, and waking up every morning to such a peaceful setting felt incredibly special. Jenny was thoughtful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed to feel right at home. We appreciated all the personal touches and warmth throughout the house—it truly felt like staying with friends. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Stockholm.

Our family had a wonderful weekend in the house in Ingarö. Johan and Linda welcomed us in person, they are wonderful hosts. The house is built with quality and love for details. Well equipped, we lacked nothing, clean and warm. We traveled by car, so we managed to visit several local natural treasures - Björnö nature reserve, Artipelag. 10 minutes walk from the house there is access to the water where you can relax and enjoy the local landscape. Stockholm is in about 30 minutes drive from the house.

Vi tillbringade en helg i stugan och hade det fantastiskt trevligt. Stugan var ren, välutrustad och hade allt vi behövde för att känna oss hemma. När vi kom var sängarna bäddade, handdukar framlagda för alla och vi möttes av en fin välkomstgåva i form av hembakat bröd och fika, en omtänksam gest som verkligen uppskattades. Stugan ligger otroligt vackert, med magisk omgivning och en rofylld miljö. Det fanns många fina platser både inne och ute där man kunde slå sig ner och bara njuta. Kommunikation med värden fungerade utmärkt, och det märktes att det var viktigt för hen att vi skulle trivas. Vi kan varmt rekommendera ett besök, vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

This little house is one very special place on earth. We spent one week there and loved everything about it, especially the garden, the cozy living room and how Antonios and Yvonne made us feel very welcome right from the start. The location is great for visiting Stockholm or exploring the archipelago, which we did a lot, but we also had a great time just staying at the house and relaxing (and in the evening: watching deer in the garden). The weather was a bit cold when we were visiting so we couldn't use the outside area as much, but it is very cozy inside as well. There's absolutely nothing negative to say about this beautiful place! :)

Unsere Zeit in dieser Unterkunft war einfach traumhaft! Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns unglaublich wohlgefühlt. Die Sauberkeit und Gemütlichkeit des Hauses waren herausragend, und die liebevoll gestalteten Details der Einrichtung haben uns immer wieder aufs Neue begeistert. Jeder Raum war mit so viel Geschmack und Sinn für das Besondere eingerichtet, dass es ein harmonisches und einladendes Gesamtbild ergab – fast wie ein zweites Zuhause. Besonders die Sauna und der Kamin haben unseren Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet und für unvergessliche Wohlfühlmomente gesorgt. Ein absolutes Highlight war der Schneefall an Silvester, der die ohnehin schon malerische Umgebung in ein wahres Winterwunderland verwandelte. Diese Kombination aus traumhafter Landschaft und außergewöhnlicher Unterkunft hat unseren Schweden-Urlaub genauso werden lassen, wie wir ihn uns erträumt hatten. Wir wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben! Für alle, die Wert auf eine besondere Atmosphäre, erstklassige Ausstattung

Wer zu Karl fährt, wird die Liebe und Hingabe zur Architektur und die sich daraus ergebende Harmonie und Ruhe in jedem Detail fühlen können. Wir haben tolle Ausflüge in den Nationalpark mit Rad unternommen- auch die Sanddornknospe bei Gålö ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben die Zeit bei Karl sehr genossen. Er war ein aufmerksamer Gastgeber und hat super schnell auf Fragen reagiert. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert !

Mysig stuga på Yxlan. Vi var fyra vuxna och två små barn, stugan hade alt vi behövde och den låg väldigt nära havet.

Wir waren 4 Nächte in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Die Lage ist für Ruhesuchende ideal. Dennoch sind mit dem Auto oder Bus Stockholm und einige Naturreservate gut erreichbar. Wir haben aber die gut ausgestattete Küche und den Grill benutzt, sodass wir über Restaurants keine Aussage treffen können. Aus unserer Sicht können wir einen Aufenthalt nur empfehlen!

We stayed with our two sons for five nights at Toms appartment and felt immediately at home. It had everything we needed, many things to visit nearby and just down the street. Tom and Sunnöve asked in advance if we feel comfortable. Our great plus was the rooftop terrace. We loved sitting there in the evening, having a glas of wine and watching the silouhette of Stockholm. Thanks for having us. Tack så mycket!

It was a great place for 3 of us. We were able to walk or take public transportation to most places.

Charming home with updated amenities in the perfect location to explore Stockholm. Bella was a very welcoming and helpful host. She provided information on all of her favorite places. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

Thank you to our hosts for a great stay near Stockholm. It was 20-25 minutes by car to go visit the city. The area was a nice quiet neighborhood and accommodated our family of 5. Great kitchen and space to eat together and relax. The area was great for running as well.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in Gamla Stan, einem äußerst zentralen Viertel, das es ermöglicht, die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur einen Steinwurf entfernt. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, die Küche bietet alles, was man für die Zubereitung eigener Mahlzeiten braucht. Es ist der perfekte Rückzugsort nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag in der Stadt. Die Sauberkeit der Räumlichkeiten war tadellos und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Diese Wohnung ist ideal für alle, die Stockholm entdecken möchten, ohne auf Komfort und Gemütlichkeit verzichten zu müssen. Magnus was an excellent communicator and his place was as described. The location was great and we walked everywhere because the weather was beautiful. We did a bike tour, the Vasa Museum, Royal Palace and ate a lot of great food! It was so nice to come back to a comfy apartment to relax. The washer/dryer was a nice benefit as we prepared for our next journey. Thank you for a great stay Magnus!

Die Wohnung von Marie ist toll! Alles ist genauso wie auf den Fotos. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist super. Cafés und Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Nachts ist es ruhig und sicher! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Frida var fantastiskt både innan- och under hela vår vistelse. Svarade snabbt och var alltid flexibel med våra önskemål. Huset var vackert beläget och hade allt man önskade för en tjejhelg. Skulle gärna vilja komma tillbaka hit någon annan gång.

Wir hatten schöne, entspannte Tage in diesem wundervollen, und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus auf der ruhigen, aber gut erreichbaren Insel. Infrastruktur und Ausstattung sind sehr gut und durchdacht, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Viele Lebensmittel, Gewürze etc. standen im Haus zur Verfügung und der Supermarkt auf der Nachbarinsel war mit dem Boot gut erreichbar. Das kleine Elektroboot war super um die Küste in der Nähe zu erkunden und hat den Einkauf auf Möja zu einem schönen Ausflug gemacht. Selbst bei Regen war es sehr gemütlich und wir haben die Natur bei jedem Wetter durch die großen Fenster genossen. Am Abend kamen sogar Rehe vorbei.

Vi var ett gäng vänner som tillbringade en helg i Birgittas underbara hus. Huset är stort, vackert, charmigt och ligger lagom avsides i underbara omgivningar. Som ett litet Toscana mitt i Vallentuna! Vi är så nöjda och hoppas kunna komma tillbaka igen.

Lennart and Chicki's house is a stunning stay. The view is just amazing and sitting watching the boats go by was so calming and relaxing. it's not far to drive to Saltsjõbaden where there are restaurants and cafes and a supermarket. It's best to have a car to stay here. The fact that it's slightly off the beaten path is the thing that makes it so special. The house has everything you need - comfy beds, great shower, big outdoor area, nice kitchen. Chicki was great to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks for the lovely stay 🙂

Fantastiskt boende med magisk utsikt över Mälaren! Huset är modernt, välutrustat och väldigt bekvämt. Perfekt för avkoppling med bastu och spabad. Värden var hjälpsam och kommunikationen smidig. Rekommenderas varmt!

En fantastisk vistelse med otrolig utsikt och ett mycket mysigt boende. Vi uppskattade verkligen lugnet, den privata känslan och Stora Jakutsin på terrassen – en perfekt plats för avkoppling. Värden var väldigt tillmötesgående och snabb med att svara. Vi kommer definitivt att boka igen!

Gunilla and Niklas were very responsive before and throughout our stay. Easy 45 minute drive from Arlanda. Property is lovely - all rooms are light, airy and beautifully decorated. Kitchen has all the equipment you could want. Beds are comfy. Lots of places to sit inside and out - especially the front porch, which is a suntrap with a view of the sea. Some great recommendations of places locally to visit. Plus some nice restaurants - though need a car, nothing walkable. 15 minute drive to a station (with free parking) for direct train into Stockholm (45 mins). 30 minute drive to Vaxholm where you can pick up boats to the islands. A beautiful location, we had a lovely stay.
