Cabin holiday rentals in Vaxholm Municipality

Linus was very accommodating and responsive. The accommodation was very cozy and clean. There was also a very nice garden. We had a great time and definitely recommend it!

We had a fabulous few days in Helene’s woodland retreat. The experience of the hot tub in the trees was a highlight, as was watching the wildlife in the early morning from the picture windows. Helene was an excellent communicator and answered all our queries promptly. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We had a small maintenance issue but this was dealt with immediately by Helene’s friendly Father ( Jan), who lives close by. The property is well used and has a lived in feel, this did not detract from our experienced but contributed to our feeling of being in someone’s home. We would choose to stay here again if we revisit the region. Thank you Helene and Jan.

Tiny cabin for two people but with everything needed, refrigerator, microwave, water heater, of course bathroom and shower. Hard to believe, but it all fit well in the house. Clean, comfortable. Beautiful forest. Rocks. Birds. Blueberries flowering. One good reason - close to Arlanda, only 15 minutes drive, I always would prefere this accommodation to Stockholm, if need to get to airport quickly. Very lovely Sigtuna town pretty close. We had a great time and quiet in a super cozy cabin. The beds were super comfy and everything we needed was available. Roller shades throughout the house, plus mosquito nets. 20 degrees inside. We got a house tour on arrival,. David was very kind and nice.

We really enjoyed our week at Jimmy's place. It was really peaceful and quiet yet a short walk to the train station. The cabin had everything we needed as was extremely comfortable. Jimmy and his wife, Pernilla, were always very friendly and helpful with any queries. Highly recommended

The kind of address we'd like to keep secret so we can always have it available just for us. The cottage is beautiful and the location is magical. We loved this place. It was really peaceful in beautiful nature but within driveable distance to Stockholm and local nature reserves. The cabin was very well equipped. Katerina and Kamil had thought of everything.

Oskar and Justine's place was very nice! This is where you can go if you want to escape the stress of everyday life and watch birds and deer in the morning. The cottage was great for 2 people and had everything you needed. Even a washing machine was available for use. We had a great time on Edholma and would always recommend the place. The uncomplicated contact with the landlords was also good. We always got quick and accurate answers. Since we were there over Easter, the ferries didn't run as often. Otherwise, the connection to Vaxholm and other islands is great! Thank you and all the best! :-)

We spent 5 nights in Christina's place, a home as described, a little paradise lost in nature. We were on foot, but, loving to walk (20 minutes from the bus stop) it was no problem for us. Thank you for the loan of the bikes and canoe that allowed us to discover Vaxholm and the surrounding islands, differently and autonomously! Christina was a great host. It was a great!

Per was incredibly helpful and always responded immediately. The cottage is located in a fantastically beautiful and peaceful area on a small island, perfect for relaxation. It feels secluded but not isolated, because you can easily take the canoe (which you can borrow from the host) to a nearby restaurant or take the ferry to Vaxholm. The cottage is cozy and there is also a grill to borrow. Remember to bring your own pillowcase, duvet cover, sheets, toilet paper and charcoal if you want to grill. Highly recommended for those who want a quiet and natural stay! We enjoyed it immensely.

Peter was quite responsive. The place is a bit remote to reach if you are coming by public transport. From Höganäs ferry there is a bus service but rarely, so get informed about it. From the Tynningövägen ferry it's walking distance. There's only one supermarket which only takes Swedish cards. Vaxholm is reachable by ferry and has multiple options for restaurants and supermarket. Peter's place is very calm and peaceful. You can enjoy warm sun in the garden throughout the day. You can enjoy the day walking around the island.The shower and washing machine is in a separatecabin outside the bungalow. And the toilet inside is an electric one. Kitchen has all the basic amenities.

I felt very comfortable at Liv's place. The little cabin is incredibly cozy! Liv is very accommodating and helpful. About 1.8 km away (a great forest path), there is a supermarket. In the very pretty, small kitchen corner there is everything you need to cook delicious food. You can hike wonderfully and take the ferry (@ Liv: I still used it😉). There are 2 ways to get from the property to bus stops that go you to Ropsten and from there you can easily get to the center of Stockholm. A highlight was also the sauna, and the subsequent cooling off in the water. And not to forget the cozy fireplace for cold nights. Loved it! Tack, Liv.

We really like our stay! It was an excellent experience and a beautiful opportunity to get to know Ramsö and Vaxholm! Åsa and Johan were very nice!

We had a wonderful short stay in Helena’s cabin. It’s very cute and comfortable, and just a short walk to the water if you fancy a swim. The location is very quiet and relaxing. The bus stop to Vaxholm is a 5-10 minute walk away, and it’s also possible to take the boat. Helena is a very friendly host with great communication, thanks for a lovely stay!

Nice accommodation in the beautiful archipelago. Highly recommended.
