Monthly Rentals in Guernsey

We had a wonderful stay at La Cordage cottage. We appreciated the quality, comfort and cleanliness and its peaceful setting. It was lovely to have a private garden space to sit in and just hear the bird song and the waves of the sea. Magical! Most of all Matthew and Tania were the perfect hosts and the warm welcome we received made us feel at home straight away. They were supportive and never intrusive.

The house was immaculate, well equipped and comfortable. The location was peaceful and ideal for us. Everything we needed was available together with plenty of additional information on places to visit, eat out etc. We would highly recommend this property.

We had a fantastic time at this property, the hosts were super friendly and welcoming. we really couldn’t fault it. It suits us to stay in quiet places and we love walking, so we walked to town and got a taxi back, quite easily, from the town taxi rank. If you prefer to take a bus, they are easy to navigate on the Guernsey bus app and run from the hospital ( which is very nearby) into ST Peterport, the fare is £1.60. We will return to little Gem !

Neil made us feel very welcome - we were on honeymoon and he went the extra mile by leaving Prosecco in the fridge. We also had issues with travel which delayed us, but Neil was understanding and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was perfect for us - not fancy, just a simple cabin tucked away in a quiet area of Guernsey. We did lots of exploring (so much to do!), and enjoyed many local restaurants and beaches. It was perfect. Definitely recommend and would definitely come back. Thank you!
