Direct access to the forest from our garden. You may also walk a couple Of minutes to the cosy village centre of Doorn with its shops, traiteurs, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. So best of both worlds! Bed linnen and towels provided. Also long stays upon request.

Our beautiful vacation home is located in the old village near Amerongen Castle. Ideal for hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists and mountain bikers! It is a detached cottage, in the style of the tobacco barns from the area, with a private entrance, lovely bed, kitchen, luxurious NEW bathroom with rain shower and cozy veranda (with wood stove!) and views of the greenery of our backyard. In the middle of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug is the cottage in our spacious backyard. You sit completely private and have your own parking space. Layout: Downstairs: kitchen, fully equipped, including dishwasher/microwave, living room with smart TV, bedroom (double bed), bathroom, separate toilet. Upstairs: Bedroom (1 single bed) Outdoor space for bicycles. Free WIFI The area offers many possibilities for cycling, hiking, shopping and visiting museums. Doorn city center is 1 km away.

Unique Stay in the Countryside!

The cottage has a unique atmosphere, created with materials from old times. It is in the back of our yard, overlooks the meadows, the forest and the dike. In the summer, the cows graze from the adjacent farm in the meadow, the ducks and meats swim in the ditch. You regularly see a stork or a deer! With the sound of the cuckoo, the kievit or the owl, you will experience the nature very close! From the conservatory or from the large garden, you can see the sun rise in the morning.

Cycling or hiking in the area with forest and flood plains. And that with a beautiful old village center with coziness and the supermarket within walking distance. The house has floor heating and has all the comforts in that regard.

Gelegen aan de Amerongse berg ligt dit charmante huisje, vlak aan het bos. Ingericht in modern mid century stijl. Hier kom je tot rust in de fauteuil voor het raam, uitkijkend op de (winter)groene tuin met vogeltjes en eekhoorns. Openslaande deuren naar de houten vlonder met veranda. Dit gebied is geliefd voor de mkb trail, fiets- en wandelroutes. Het dichtstbijzijnde dorpje is het pittoreske Amerongen.
