Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Utrechtse Heuvelrug

Elzelien's house suited us perfectly. We were an older couple with mobility issues with our son, daughter in law and 20 month granddaughter. Everything was on 1 floor and the house had 2 toilets! Difficult to find in the Netherlands. The garden outside was a big bonus for us. The weather was beautiful so we enjoyed playtime and most of our meals outside. Joao, Elzelien's husband, was wonderful with the baby. We would rcommend this beautiful house to everyone. Walking distance to the lovely town of Barneveld. Highly recommend. Thank you. Tot ziens. Nice place in the middle of Betuwe between fruit trees and romantic town of Buren (walking distance 12 minutes) Nice place. Wonderful bed. Nicely decorated and close to the cows and nature. So beautiful now. All present, good WiFi, no TV. Games, reading and outdoor terrace and air conditioning. Nice food in Buren , we had beautiful hiking weather . Fun hiking and biking routes everywhere at hand. As a welcome we got apple juice from nearby fruit trees. Parking at the door. Arie and Hénrieta you have created a nice place and we felt very welcome.

What a wonderful place! Surrounded by greenery and flowers, awakened by the birds. Plenty of space with a beautiful interior. Possibility to walk and cycle in the nature in the area. Good tips from Jeannette and Frank, for example.

We were 6 people for two nights in this fantastically beautiful accommodation. The space is completely sufficient, with a large living area and 2 extra separate sleeping berths with double beds. The house is very special and an absolute highlight. In addition, the landlords are extremely helpful and nice. Thank you for the wonderful time we were able to spend with you :) we will definitely come back again

Upon arrival, it was already clear: this is going to be a great stay. Very friendly people in the area, beautiful nature, much to look forward to, with regard to upcoming activities in the days to come. If you don't want activities in the area: you will completely relax at this location. Communication with the owner went smoothly and quickly. In short: this is a must!

The accommodation is really nicely furnished, there is everything you need. The surrounding area is very nice and quiet. The stairs are very steep, otherwise everything is perfect. I would stay there again at any time. Communication is TOP and very friendly and helpful.

Please note, if we left anything out of this review, it wasn’t because Floortje’s home didn’t offer it. Fact is we didn’t need it. This home was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay together with our two adult children and their significant others. It was the perfect starting point for many of our daily excursions, sightseeing in the Netherlands. We would recommend this home to anyone, any time and would love to return in future visits.

Yasmine and Sabah are, without question, the kindest and most helpful hosts I have ever met. I was dealing with a family emergency and had to book an Airbnb at the very last minute, and they showed me such immense kindness and support that I will never forget it. They went far above and beyond anything I could have hoped for — from being warm and responsive to offering help with genuine care and compassion. I will forever be grateful and indebted to them for their generosity during a very difficult time. In addition to being such lovely people, their Airbnb is absolutely fantastic. It is spotlessly clean, thoughtfully set up, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was exactly as described — if not better — and it felt like a peaceful, welcoming retreat from the moment I walked in. I cannot recommend staying with Yasmine and Sabah highly enough. They are extraordinary hosts and truly wonderful people. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart.

Joke & Marcs place was ideal for us as it was well designed for a couple like us. The setting was peaceful and we could sit out in the evening with a drink overlooking the river. Everything we needed was provided and J&M were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you wish to explore South Holland.

Mariette's home was a perfect getaway for the two of us and our dog. The house is thoughtfully prepared with everything guests might need - the kitchen had all the essentials. It was a real pleasure to enjoy views of different wooded areas from every window. The location is fantastic: the beach is just a 5-minute walk from the house. Muiderberg is about 1 hour by public transport or 30 minutes by car from Amsterdam Centraal. It's the perfect balance of peace, nature, and city access! Thanks to Mariette's hospitality and the calm atmosphere of the house, we had a truly memorable holiday. We're already looking forward to visiting again!

Very nice stay with very friendly hosts! The location is also great, close to the center of Barneveld but still completely in the tranquility of the countryside. The surroundings are also beautiful, a beautiful area for cycling on the Veluwe.

It is a very cosy and familiar apartment. Peaceful and super close to Amsterdam and Den Hague. You feel fast at home. The breakfast was super, so we could enjoy our trip. I really recommend Mark as a host.

We had a lovely weekend at the apartment. Susan and Jasper are very friendly people. Susan gave us all kinds of tips to do in the area. The apartment is incredibly beautiful and equipped with all the comforts. The location is also top! You have your own private terrace and there is plenty to do in the area (if you love nature). Nijmegen is also a stone's throw away. In short, definitely recommended to stay here :) Thanks again Susan and Jasper!

We had a wonderful stay at Adva’s place! The house is beautifully tucked away in nature and perfect for a peaceful getaway. Everything was exactly as described — clean, well-equipped, and very dog-friendly, which we really appreciated. The self check-in was smooth and Adva’s instructions were super clear. We also loved the forest walks right outside the door. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and relax.

Lovely area & accommodation. The bikes were extremely helpful & easy to get out. The hosts were very kind & offered us help with places to go around Amsterdam etc. Cannot recommend this AirBnB more!

This garden hideaway was a perfect place to unwind and take walks to magical places nearby. After several days in various cities I was ready for a break. A nearby island with a beach can reach by a pedestrian bridge just past the little grocery store. An old forest preserve with long allees of towering trees leading to a manor house and gardens can be reached just up the road in the other direction. Other reviews mentioned the occasional sound of planes which I barely registered. The sounds of the city were replace by the sound of wind in the trees and of a neighborhood rooster in the morning which I liked. Marjolein and Anton were a sheer delignt. Take a break and stay here for a few days.

We had a great time in the cabin. The place and the cabin are fantastic and Rens and Elisa w af and super friendly. In addition to the beautiful surroundings and the beautiful accommodation, we were very happy with the wood stove and the hot tub that we could use for a fee. It was a nice place to stay. Beautiful on the linge. Delicious jacuzzi, a party to light yourself with blocks of wood. Delightful cozy private place. The area is great for hiking and cycling. Cute place within walking distance of eateries. Kiona was always friendly and ready to help us. Totally fine.
