Near to the apartment is the Henschotermeer, a natural pond in the middle of hills surrounded by white sandy beaches and green sunbathing area.

Our beautiful vacation home is located in the old village near Amerongen Castle. Ideal for hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists and mountain bikers! It is a detached cottage, in the style of the tobacco barns from the area, with a private entrance, lovely bed, kitchen, luxurious NEW bathroom with rain shower and cozy veranda (with wood stove!) and views of the greenery of our backyard. 'Huisje De Boswachter' is located on a forest park on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug in Maarn, where a limited number of weeks can be rented out to keep the peace on this park. There are 3 bedrooms and is ideal for a family. The cottage itself and the garden are very pleasant to stay, but nature also beckons within walking distance. This is how you get to Lake Henschotersee; a beautiful swimming lake and the forest and heath are all around you. The cottage is located on a private forest park.
