Monthly Rentals in Upper Harbledown

We enjoyed four nights at this lovely property. Big enough for two, enjoying mostly good weather, we could open the doors at the front and the side, to enjoy the beautiful views that are Mary’s garden. Although we had everything we needed, nothing was too much trouble for Mary, she, and Boo, were happy to give directions, best restaurants, bus routes etc. Although the kitchen was compact, there was plenty of fridge space for goodies bought locally , and of course the wine! Lots to do, easy bus into Canterbury, the Cathedral is a must. The Samphire restaurant in Whitstable was recommended and we enjoyed a lovely lunch there.

Anne was a lovely host. I stayed for 5 days and went to a different show at the Canterbury Festival each evening. I worked from my room during the day & Anne kindly provided a desk & chair for me. The location was perfect for all the different venues I went to - only ever a 25 minute walk max 😊

Helene was a lovely host. Enjoyed some much needed peaceful sleep, and particularly loved the little birds flying in and out of the private courtyard. Many places aren’t what they say they are, but Helene’s was exactly as nice as it looks in the pictures and better. Very clean, aesthetically pleasing, and the private small garden is a joy. Would gladly stay again. A delight. Thanks Helene ❤️

Diane and her family are very friendly and nice. The rooms are supper clean and the place is peaceful we really enjoyed to stay there. One small tip if you are planning to sleep in the sofa bed: bring a sleeping masks, there are two bright windows on the ceiling which makes the room very bright from early morning.
