We loved it, back to nature but very comfortable, had everything we needed and more. Loved the closeness to the sea. We walked all around the location, didn’t move our car for 4 days! We want to go back, that probably says it all. Thank you Beth

We had a lovely time staying here. The house is furnished nicely and was clean and in excellent order. Surprisingly fantastic shower! I didn't love the plastic covered mattress on the bunks, but it's probably a good idea for kids. It was lovely to be so close to the beach and the coastal path.

We have just spent 3 nights at Herdy View Lodge and were extremely pleased with our choice. The property is in a quiet location in a lovely setting. Several restaurants are in easy distance and Penrith, Ullswater and Keswick are short drives away. The lodge itself is lovely and kitted out with everything we needed. There is also an information folder which was really useful. All in all it was perfect for our requirements and we would certainly book there again. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The chalet surpassed our expectations and is ideally situated. It is close to Aberdeen (20 minutes drive to City Centre) but in a rural location. Paddy and Catherine are both lovely people with a very interesting back-story. They were attentive but not overbearing throughout our visit

A perfect setting to clear my brain of all the clutter that builds up over time. Peace & quiet to read & read & then read some more. Will be booking to go back again later in the year. Kim is the best host.

We stayed here last year, and decided to come again this year. Still as beautiful, peaceful and secluded as last time! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay (despite the weather). The upkeep of the property has been maintained to a high standard, was very clean and easily accessible with clear instructions. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

We love this place! I think this is my fourth visit and it never disappoints. The location and views are just perfect for a beach getaway, in a hidden little corner of Cornwall. Ellie’s place has everything you could want or need for a comfortable stay.

Another wonderful stay at Joannas place, its so peaceful here and incredible wildlife that you can watch from the sofa! Lots to do in the area within a 30min drive, we're exhausted!

Had a lovely 3 night stay at this lovely countryside retreat. The surrounds were beautiful and so peaceful. There's plenty to do around the local area. A lovely beach not even 10 minutes away, lake windermere half an hour up the road and the aquarium just down the road from that. The rooms were lovely and clean and had plenty of space for the 5 of us ( 2 adults 2 children and the dog) Kelly was really helpful with any questions I had and even suggested local places to visit even before we booked. Would definitely stay here again. If you want peace and quiet but still a stones throw away for fun days out this is definitely the place to book.

The lodge is truly special both inside and out in the most stunning location. Great experience all round.

Joe was a great host and provided all information requested. Arrival was straightforward plenty of space. House was clean and welcoming. Photos need updating as property has been extended further. Shepherd hut in Garden was a great addition however it is cited at the bottom of a steep incline. The hot tub was a great addition and used well journey to the beach was about 15 minutes and parking was difficult but manageable. Shops et cetera were a short drive from the house. There were not many places to eat locally but plenty of takeaways if you needed them. A very enjoyable week in a lovely area about 30 minute drive to New Forest. Definitely worth considering.

Our stay at The Dorset Resort Chalet (called Sand Banks) was exceptionally good. Had most enjoyable comfortable stay. Chalet had just about everything you could need or wish for. Stayed July 2024. Beds super comfy. Best AirB&B’s we’ve stayed in – exceptionally comfortable, roomy, clean and just perfect. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this Chalet as a great place to stay. We travelled to The Boat on the Bay Kimmeridge & had fresh lobster and scampi with salad and the best chips ever…! Fresh Crab and other fish available. This really is worth a visit as food incredible & prepared in professional food van served outside on picnic benches – all very comfortable. The Dorset Resort Chalet complex is connected to The Dorset Golf Resort and because of that, we had use of the Golf Bar, Club and Dining room for drinks, breakfast, sandwiches & Dinner. Our particular chalet also had a Sauna and 3 bathrooms. Top spec highly recommend.

This is a beautifully kitted out Log cabin with lovely views and feels airy and bright. Linda has thought of every little thing to make you welcome. She has been consistently proactive to make sure all is well and that you have what you need. There is ample room for a car, total privacy and peace and quiet. We were able to do everything we wanted to and enjoy a nice evening on the balcony watching the lake, the birds and the wee rabbits! I will try to go again!

Very enjoyable time spent here. Can’t recommend enough. Away from the hustle and bustle of the busier parts of Loch Lomond, but absolutely more magnificent in scenery. Sarah was a responsive host whenever contacted, the lodge was very clean and beautiful. Short 1 minute walk down to a beach which was beautiful. All neighbours and other residents of the area were friendly. Don’t have a single bad thing to say about the place.

We all had a wonderful stay in Elk Lodge. It was quiet, peaceful and comfortable. The lodge was exactly as described and we had plenty of room and privacy with the en-suite bedrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped with high end appliances. We would definitely consider another stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

The most beautiful views from the decking - breathtaking. Very peaceful and relaxing. The chalet is very well set up with everything you need for your stay. There were a couple of spoilers - were the whole front window where the view should be is a ‘blown’ pane of glass that makes it very difficult to see the view .. and no beach access as the steps down were broken. Sadly took something away from our stay. Even so I would highly recommend

Fantastic stay for my wifes birthday, the views were outstanding, the place has everything you need and more, playstation speaker etc, gorgeous hot tub and the welcome bottle of wine was lovely too! Already looking at dates for our next stay, would recommend but also want to keep it quiet so no one else books haha! Thanks Again!
