The property was perfect, the pictures are lovely and they reflect the quality. The property once there is outstanding and very peaceful. It’s one of those hidden Gem AirBnBs, we loved the stay and will hopefully return.

We really enjoyed our stay and loved how peaceful it was. The welcome gifts from Joy were great, and she provided us with vegan goodies which was much appreciated. Lots of helpful info provided (like using the hot tub etc) which helped ease us in and feel at home!

The place is just perfect for us. It is in the middle of nowhere, with amazing views out to sea and surrounded by open, rolling fields and woodland, full of wildlife. The hosts have done a great job and and are lovely people to deal with. The place has everything a couple could need for a break. It is all good quality and very much to our liking. There were lots of nice touches, such as a freshly baked cake and local fresh milk together with tea and coffee. The fresh flowers and a birthday card for my wife, made her day! We are planning our next visit already!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The jacuzzi was lovely! The hosts were great at providing us with all the information we needed for a stress free check in/out and a perfect stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mini break. Peacocks were a lovely surprise seeing them walk around the estate. Thanks again! From the moment we arrived we knew we had made the right choice. The location and view is fantastic, we felt so at peace. Internally the property is well equipped and of the highest standard and very clean throughout. The deck in the evening, glass of wine and just listening to the birdsong, so very peaceful. Lots of electric outlets so no need for extension leads and a dimmable lighting system thats like a 70s disco until you get the hang of it 😄. I cannor fault Jeannie, or the property, well worth the cost. Such a lovely place. Thank you Jeannie for making our 20th wedding anniversary one to remember. David and Julie.

Graham and Pip’s place is a real gem, the accommodation is gorgeous. In beautiful surroundings, with wonderful wildlife to enjoy, fabulous walks on your doorstep, a place of calm and serenity. So many places to visit are within easy driving reach, whatever your preferred activity there are mountains, canals and rivers to enjoy and there’s no shortage of options for good food. Graham is a lovely host, helpful and welcoming, he makes you feel at home right away. We would love to stay here again.

We stayed at the Cattle Byre for our first wedding anniversary - and first trip away with our puppy, Winston, too! The property was finished to a very high standard and had everything we needed for our stay; it felt like a home away from home. The welcome biscuits and bottle of bubbles was a special touch too! Gorgeous location, very peaceful and perfect for a relaxed break away. We’ll definitely be back!

Peaceful Getaway in Beautiful Devon My Girlfriend and I recently stayed at this lovely Airbnb in Devon, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place was beautiful—surrounded by nature, quiet, and incredibly peaceful. It felt like the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The location was ideal: tucked away enough to feel secluded and tranquil, yet still close enough to explore nearby sights and enjoy everything Devon has to offer. Whether we were out on a walk or simply sitting and enjoying the calm atmosphere, we felt totally relaxed. The accommodation itself was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully put together. We instantly felt at home. It’s clear the hosts take pride in providing a comfortable and welcoming space for their guests. We left feeling refreshed, recharged, and already talking about coming back again. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in a stunning location, we highly recommend this place.

I booked this stay for my husband's 70th birthday with our family. There was 10 in total. The greeting was lovely and David explained everything about his property with passion and warmth. Im not surprised the place has the 'wow' factor for myself and family. The converted narn had beautiful features very pretty but David has introduced some great electric blinds, lighting, modern kitchen but fits with the period property. Fab tennis court, David provided balls and bats for guests to to use. David then took us to the pool area and extra bedroom and we were blown away. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Lovely towels at pool and bedrooms. Plenty of hot water. Pool warm, jacuzzi great. We absolutely loved our time at Davids property. Would defo recommend. Top class.

This was our second stay in Sarnau and we enjoyed our four nights as much as our first visit. The property is just lovely. In a beautiful location. Peaceful but easy to get to places. It’s extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean and with fabulous hosts where nothing is too much trouble. We find it a great location to do lots in the area and this time we visited the coast twice which is less than an hour away. Highly recommend and we hope to be back.

A lovely place to stay, nestled away in a lovely quiet village, the location is lovely, not too far from what you’d need. The space itself was immaculate, everything well looked after, clean and modern! Would highly recommend! Thank you Tony, and the lemon cake was a lovely touch!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The location is peaceful, with a couple of pubs within walking distance. There are plenty of walks starting from Bonsall and it's just a short drive to other destinations like Bakewell. The home itself is beautifully decorated and very relaxing—we especially enjoyed a couple of sunny evenings in the outdoor area surrounded by the wildflower garden. Flossie the cat was very friendly and we loved having cuddles with her! Amy was also friendly and communicative. Overall, a peaceful and thoroughly enjoyable weekend away.

The hosts were lovely, and so attentive with any questions i had. They even brought us a cheese board and wine 🥺❤️ The house was just like the pictures ! it had everything we needed, and the hot tub was amazing Perfect experience, thank you so much xx

We had a lovely 3 nights at Middle Farm. The weather was very ordinary for June but the accommodation was very cosy with great heating. The annex was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Stan and Judy were extremely helpful, accommodating and personable. Highly recommended.

Irene’s place is ideally situated for anyone looking to climb Pendle Hill or explore the peaceful countryside and charming villages of the Forest of Bowland. The accommodation is perfectly suited for couples seeking a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. It’s a lovely setting with a thoughtfully designed space, making it a truly enjoyable place to stay.

Wow. This place is an actual fairytale. I cannot believe how incredible it is for the price you pay. The photos are amazing but even they don’t do it justice. A gorgeous little cabin tucked away in even more gorgeous gardens, surrounded by rolling hills in every direction. The cabin might be small but, my goodness, do they fit a lot in. The sauna was perfect after chilly walks and winding down in the evenings with the projector was heavenly. The hosts were amazing and so friendly. We were even handed some freshly baked bread on arrival! Of course, we can’t forget to mention the other two hosts - Tilly & Nugget (two gorgeous little dogs who will happily show you the way to the lake when you fancy a row). A little oasis of peace surrounded by the potential for adventure. Cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone heading to this part of the world.

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Dairy to celebrate a special 40th birthday and it exceeded all our expectations. Miranda was a fantastic host, went above and beyond with local recommendations and clear instructions, and the flexible checkout was a much-appreciated bonus! The Old Dairy is a stunning property with lots of great touches and is finished to a high standard - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. We also very much enjoyed the daily visit from the 2 lovable labradors!

We had a wonderful stay at The Barn to celebrate two special family birthdays. It was even better than the photos, which is not always the case, and provided an extremely comfortable and open space to relax in, and great outdoor area. It definitely had the 'wow factor' for us and we couldn't believe our luck when we arrived. Really nicely furnished and a very well equipped kitchen, along with three immaculate bedrooms and bathrooms. Having a separate TV room was a bonus and made made the main area much more sociable. Charlie and Ali were friendly and helpful during our stay. We all had a great time, and so did Wilf (the dog), and can absolutely recommend staying here. We would love to visit again at some point in the future. Thanks very much for a happy and memorable stay.

My advice to anyone looking to book this place is to get on and do it. The pictures don’t do it justice. The property is unbelievable. If you like waking up to the sound of birds and having loads of places to walk then this place is for you. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I met Ann and her husband Chris who were both so helpful and nice to talk to. I’m so gutted the trip ended as is my girlfriend and two dogs, who are shattered from the stunning coastal walks. I can guarantee I will return!

The perfect spot for a much-needed peaceful getaway. The accommodation was beautiful, with lovely extra touches like locally made soap, homemade jam and not only a coffee machine but also a milk frother! The bed was wonderfully comfortable and waking up to the sound of cuckoos was bliss. Michael was incredibly friendly, kind and helpful but also left us to our own devices so we felt very secluded and private. We loved walking, cycling and swimming in the river nearby as well as getting out to explore the local towns, having been recommended some great places to visit and restaurants to eat at.
