Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ulysses

The Silversands lake house was the perfect getaway for our family's trip to Ithaca. It was extremely spacious and our large group had absolutely no issues feeling right at home. Logan was really accommodating and flexible with our group, overall he was such a great host! We'd definitely stay here again if we're ever in Lansing.

We booked this home after changing our trip dates and losing the original house we rented. Boy, was it worth it!! The home is Beautiful! The views, natural light, huge master bathroom, and the most comfortable couch were just some of our favorite things. One of the bedrooms had kids' books and toys, and it was perfect for our 4-year-old daughter. The owners' communication with us was at its best! We look forward to returning next year!

This is my second time staying at Evan’s place. It is a great setup for a getaway with friends or for a family - plenty of space to hang out, but also nice bedrooms for resting. We were in town for Cornell’s reunion and it only took us about 10-15 minutes to get to campus each time. Evan was also super helpful with the EV charger and answering our questions.

We loved this house! Exactly as described. Very clean, well maintained, cute decor with personal touches, but it’s the views that are incredible, beautiful, and peaceful. The location is stunning, and the amazing Taughannock Falls are less than a mile down the road. Andy was responsive, friendly and welcoming. We were in town for college graduation (IC or Cornell are about a 20 minute drive), with parents and grandparents. Was a great spot for all of us. When I asked if there was an iron (had to get those graduation clothes ready!), Andy made sure one was in the house for us when we got there. One thing to know - the beach and the dock are down a steep set of stairs. Andy offered use of his tram if we needed help getting down there, so that’s a nice option. There is a nice grassy area and dock by the water. I highly recommend this place!

We loved the place! Jacquelin was a great host, very quick to respond. The place was cosy and really felt like home to us. Highly recommend for a getaway.

Finding the place in the dark, being unfamiliar was tricky! The driveway comes off a main road and the area is dark at night…… that’s a great thing once you’ve found the place! That’s the only negative!! Had a great time…… place is cozy and set up with everything you need!

It is a perfect place to gather with friends. Just outside of Trumansburg, the rolling countryside is beautiful. Not only was the home clean and welcoming, but it was also calming and rejuvenating. It was the perfect spot for us to relax before running the Ithaca 1/2 marathon.

This was such a beautiful place and can’t recommend it more!! So many thoughtful touches :) will def stay again next time I’m here!

I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Super clean, quiet, good parking, and had everything I needed. And plenty of hot water. Very short and easy drive to Robert Treman State Park (both upper and lower lots). Short drive into Ithaca.

This place was perfect for the venue I was attending. It was less than a 5 minute drive to SUNY Cartland and about a 5 minute walk to downtown restaurants, a CVS, and gas stations. The place itself was very roomy and clean. I felt very comfortable and safe. Jerry was very responsive and friendly in all of communications. I would highly recommend Jerry’s place.

Richard is an excellent host! Easy check-in and check-out! The location is great! A quiet gate away, but about 10 10-minute drive to Cornell and Ithaca. The place is very clean and provides a lot of supplies, food, snacks, and necessities! Very thoughtful. The communication is excellent! Very clear instructions and very responsive Very pleasant stay!

This was a unique and charming guest suite. It looked just like the pictures! The host clearly put time into decorating and added a little flare to this personal space. The instructions were very detailed and easy. The waterfall in the back of the house was the best!

Cozy, comfortable and close to town. Lakeside view and only steps to Keuka Lake. Restaurant options within walking distance as well as a nice walking path. Appreciated the coffee options provided by our host for the morning too! Great place!

Cathy did everything for us to help us feel at home and we really did. Although the weather was rainy and cold we enjoyed the warmth of her welcome with extra blankets and fresh huge muffins. Cathy accommodated all our needs, she is very friendly and we highly recommend staying at her charming place.

We had an excellent time at Mike’s place! Mike was awesome and very friendly, he was great with our two young kids as they played all over the yard. It was really peaceful, beautiful, and still very close to town. Our kids loved having a yard to run around in and we loved the peaceful setting. The house was great and Mike had everything ready for us including coffee and snacks! We are already planning our next trip back next summer!

Wow! This place is great. Lori is so friendly and helpful. I had hurt my knee when traveling at my previous city. I texted her on the off chance she had an ice pack handy and she placed one in the freezer. The place is very comfortable and clean. I was there for a Cornell reunion. It is a quick car ride. I believe there is a bus that leave from the Ithaca mall (5-10 min walk) to campus as well. Gorgeous backyard. Great coffee. Also the kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils and a large dining table. Thank you Lori!

Th space was immaculate, well maintained, nicely designed as well as decorated. Our only concern was that there was no stove for our teenage son to cook on. There was a microwave and toaster broiler that worked just fine for him. However, the sauna was an amazing perk. The setting was very calm and relaxed. Rachel was an excellent host and left a kind graduation card and bottle of Spumante for us to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation. We would highly recommend this space and would rent again. Clean, fairly easy to find, comfortable and a great location right in the heart of Armory Square.

If you're going to Elmira this is the single best place to stay. I think Elmira has a lot of potential, the only negative is it's just starting to go down the road of reaching that potential. This Airbnb and the businesses associated with Rye around it are the people taking those first steps. Stay here, it is incredible. Help these people keep doing what they're doing.

Liz was a phenomenal host! She provided thorough instructions on navigating the area and locating the property as well as the garage and was very responsible prior to the start of the booking. Her home was just as pictured and it was a perfect home away from home.

The apartment was adorable and well decorated. It seems as if they had thought of everything! Shalisa was also extremely responsive and friendly. 10/10 would recommend her place.

We stayed for 2 nights while visiting Syracuse U. Fantastic location in downtown and within easy reach of the university. Restaurants and more just steps away yet the condo was very peaceful with a neighborhood vibe and the nearby park was perfect for our pup. Would definitely stay here again.

Diane’s lakeside retreat has definitely earned all these five star reviews! It’s even better than the photos. The view is spectacular, the place is spotless, the bed and furnishings so comfortable. Full of thoughtful touches. Perfect for two people. Believe the hype!

Very clean, comfortable, and relaxing weekend. A very nice condo on the 4th floor of a luxury hotel that included access to all of the offerings from restaurant and bar, outdoor patio and fire pit, pool and hot tub, nice views of Canandaguia Lake, and just a mile or so from downtown Canandaguia. Check in and check out instructions were straightforward. Good communication with the host. The price may be a bit more than other places in the area but you have access to all the offerings of a high end hotel on the edge of the lake. I would recommend a visit here!
