Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ulster County

This is a comfortable, light-filled home. The one level living arrangement created a cozy and easy to manage space for both older and younger renters. We especially enjoyed the spacious kitchen and dining table, as well as the huge deck affording views of the woods in back of the home. We did not need the air-conditioning units provided in some of the bedrooms as the ceiling fans and cool evening temperatures kept the house very comfortable. We can certainly recommend this wonderful home--especially for those who want to spend time in the nearby state park or enjoy bouldering in the "Gunks."

First Stavros was a stellar host. Proactive in communication and always responsive. Very attentive, we had one small interruption with the wifi that he promptly addressed before we even noticed! The house property is absolutely stunning and gorgeous, peaceful, spacious, very beautiful. The house has everything well stocked. Kitchen had plenty. I can't find one thing to comment that isn't positive. We all enjoyed ourselves to the max. The most enjoyable was the three walls full of windows that made the thunderstorms so beautiful to watch in the living room. The little stream in the back so pleasant to sit silently. Cathy is a great host and was friendly and responsive. We loved our time at the Tiny House! It was a perfect winter getaway for us. It was the perfect amount of space for the 2 of us and the location was peaceful. Exactly what we were looking for and we’d highly recommend staying at the Tiny House!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a relaxing weekend escape from NYC and couldn’t have picked a better spot. We came to explore Kingston but loved the house so much that we were just as happy staying in, playing games, and soaking in the cozy vibes. The home is beautiful and thoughtfully appointed — I can only imagine how magical it must be in the summer with the porch, or in the fall with the foliage. Even in late winter, it was idyllic. The location is perfect — just about 10 minutes from Kingston, so it’s super easy to pop into town while still feeling tucked away. We’d absolutely stay here again!

This is a beautiful, peaceful home. I especially loved the great knives for cooking, the filtered water throughout the house, the dimmable lights, and the gorgeous interior design. It was the perfect home base to pop into the town of Stone Ridge, Woodstock, Kingston, and the surrounding parks for hikes. My friends and I couldn't have been happier with our stay!

Overall a great stay! The home was beautiful and exactly what we needed. Elizabeth was also a great host. We’d be more than glad to visit again in the future!

Substantial and comfortable space. Very well appointed property with hot tub, bath and kitchen with clothes washing facility. Great views and well located near some lovely towns. We had a big car and parking was slightly tight to turn but a very minor observation!

Ami’s place was great! Stayed for my birthday and was surprised with a delicious tres leche cake upon my arrival! The view was incredible, amenities were amazing, overall it was everything I hoped for and more. Thanks Ami!

John and Emma's place is exactly as described. It is neat and comfortable. You can tell they put a lot of care into making the place feel welcoming. It is on a busy corner so that might be off-putting to some, but it was fairly quiet on the days we were there. You are able to walk to town to many restaurants, shops, and ice cream and there is a big grocery store just down the road.

Ivy on the Stone is a gem. We will definitely return. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom large and there is even a large screened porch for relaxing on comfy chairs, a sofa as well as a table for eating. Area restaurants are great, walkable to coffee shops and a large bakery in addition to a charming downtown with boutiques etc. Katherine is extremely attentive and we plan to return. MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The Modena House was perfect for our trip. We wished we had the chance to enjoy the outdoor aspect a little more, however time and weather didn’t cooperate with us. The place is adorable, a great kitchen, nicely decorated sitting room, bathroom and bedroom made for a lovely stay. The hosts are top notch! We hope to stay again in the future if we are in the area. The location was absolutely stunning! The river in the backyard created a very relaxing atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, and the space was clean. At one point, it rained, and I enjoyed sitting on the patio.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They were generous with providing goodies in the kitchen, which was well-stocked. It's a darker apartment but the deck outside was very cheerful as was their entire back yard right on the river. They even had kayaks and canoes to use and a lovely dock. Except for the busy street out front, it was just what we needed.

This is such a lovely space. It was immaculately clean. The bed was super comfy. The thing I enjoyed the most were the big tall windows looking out over the trees and neighboring yards in a historic neighborhood. Max was a great communicator when I had a question about the washer and dryer. And because I was taking Amtrak home, he was kind enough to extend my checkout time by a few hours. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Responsive host, with a conveniently-located rental suite close to amenities. Kingston has trains running in this general area throughout the night so VERY light sleepers might want to choose their location carefully, but al of us slept well. Overall a great experience!

The house is very cozy and beautiful and very close to the downtown where there are a plenty of good coffee shops and places to eat. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating. They treated us to free coffee at their nearly Korean coffee place. I highly recommend

I know the area super well so have a good perspective on location and quality of available accommodation etc. Mark and Lori’s place was standout on all dimensions. Close to both Woodstock and Saugerties which is great for dining and social options. Location is safe, pretty, peaceful and convenient. The house itself is immaculate and charming with a lot of nice character touches. It’s well appointed, and even if you choose to dine in, they have supplied all that one could need. A special place and if I need accommodation again I would book in a heartbeat.

The cabin was great! Just what our group needed. Very clean and in a nice private location.

Secluded, peaceful and beautiful. A great experience if you have some days you want to escape the hustle and bustle. Bring your hiking shoes!

Cozy place for a peaceful getaway. We enjoyed a hike and stayed in Edwin’s cabin to extend the adventure. Would recommend to anyone looking for a private, cozy place to unwind.

Jeff and Sharon were wonderful hosts and the airbnb exceeded our expectations. It was clean, nice, and had great amenities. The creek in the back was beautiful. Jeff and Sharon were also available and responsive the entire stay. We couldn’t speak highly enough of this airbnb.
