Michelle's Hilltop Cabin in Chesterfield, MA, is a wonderful place. Nestled in the Berkshire woods, but close to the road, and not far from civilization, this place has all the best western Massachusetts has to offer. 11 miles (15 minutes) to Snow Farm (Williamsburg) 17 miles (28 minutes) to downtown Northampton 23 miles (36 minutes) to UMass Amherst 31 miles (44 minutes) to Mass MOCA (North Adams) 32 miles (51 minutes) to Tanglewood (Lenox) The Hilltop Cabin is best for 2-3 people, but Michelle has several other rentals at the same address. See if she has openings to suit your party on your dates. You won't be disappointed!

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. The views from the home and the surrounding area were amazing and we found ourselves just slowing down a lot on our drive there to take it all in. Our favorite parts were the hot tub which was so relaxing especially with the backdrop of nature behind us and the amazing kitchen where we cooked all of our meals each day. Most things were around 20 minutes out so it was a very stay at home stay so we really appreciated the effort they made at making the home the main attraction. The host was very communicate and helped solve a minor issue we had right away which was a great experience. Our least favorite part was having to leave! Overall we look forward to coming back again in the future to such a cozy home.

We had a wonderful stay at Marta's house. Everything was spotless, well cared for and thoughtful. The check in process was so simple and the house rules were easy to follow. The record collection was such a nice touch, especially on a rainy Saturday afternoon and the basement with a full media setup and games was perfect for a Saturday night in. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and amenities and the hot tub was great as well! The location was also great! Nothing bad to say about this amazing little spot :-)

We had an amazing time at Ruth’s home and we loved the cabin feel. Between the hot tub, lake, and lawn games our time went by so quickly. The home was very clean and had all the essentials. We will definitely be back again!

Had a lovely weekend getaway here! Mirav’s place was clean and quiet, and everything was as described. We enjoyed the hot tub and the close proximity to Woodstock; it’s less than a 10 minute drive, so easily accessible for good food and cute shops. Would definitely stay again!

Pictures don’t do it justice! The place is super adorable and relaxing. Great views and vibes. Personal touches that make you feel like you’re visiting a friends home instead of an Airbnb. Highly recommend!

The place is overall awesome - just don’t miss the fact there isn’t air conditioning - I didn’t notice that in the listing, and there happened to be a hot day. The hot tub isn’t quite private. One set of neighbors or folks turning down the side road can see you. However, it was very comfortable, especially on a cool evening.

Nothing but great things to say about this Airbnb. The house was absolutely beautiful and so cozy. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with pretty much everything you need. The hosts were also incredibly helpful and responded right away whenever we had questions or issues with anything. Highly recommend this Airbnb. I hope to come back one day!

The guesthouse was so dreamy! We had a wonderful stay, the hosts were super friendly, and we loved meeting their sweet dogs. The house was close to great restaurants and shops in Hudson, Kinderhook, and Ghent, as well as hiking trails. The lovely trail on the property was a great bonus, one we took advantage of 4 times throughout the weekend :). Would definitely visit again!

The cabin was incredibly peaceful and comfortable. I especially enjoyed relaxing on the deck, just taking in view and sound of the rushing water from the brook. Every room has great views. It was the perfect reset for my nervous system. I'm so glad I brought my journal. Cori & Ruben were very proactive and responsive. It's abundantly evident they are genuinely committed to being environmental stewards which is inspiring.

Phoebe was hard at work in the yard when I arrived but stopped to handle checkin and orientation. Everything very easy to follow.

I loved this place. It was very large. Larger than it appeared in the photos. And the yard was huge! The dogs loved running around it. The neighbors were close enough to see that there was a house nearby, but far enough to not really see any people. And I heard no one, just an occasional dog bark. It was a beautiful location. Trees and hills and beautiful grass. The wood burning insert was fabulous. We had cozy evenings watching tv or a movie. Plenty of plates and cookware. I made dinner most nights. It is also close to so much! I really loved it! Hikes and shopping. Don’t miss the Farmers Market. Highly recommend

We booked our trip day of to take a long weekend out of the city and I could not stress how perfect it was! We have two kids under 7 and the property provided so much space and safety to run around. On the days it rained, we enjoyed the patio area (with a huge tv). The creek in the back lended us hours of entertainment for our kids and finding the “surprise waterfall” to the left was very exciting! Brianna was available to answer any question we had within minutes. Although we could have stayed at the property the entire time, we tried out some places from the suggested list Brianna left. June Farms was great and the Towne Tavern had amazing wings. We’re excited to come back and sit on the patio during winter months! (They have a heater too!) 10/10 experience

We had a lovely stay at the Paradise Cabin! The house as well as the property was beautiful, cozy, clean, and very thoughtfully put together. We had everything we needed and more for a wonderful and relaxing time. Gabi and Sam were both responsive and helpful. Can’t wait to return for another stay in the future! :)

What a treat to stay at McCaela's magical, cozy, home! Everything – from the surroundings, to the furnishings, to the amenities – were just perfect. Entry into the house was no problem, and inside we found a delightfully thoughtful and intentional home that was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Just as key, the bed in the primary bedroom was supremely comfortable! We had no reason to ask any questions, and we had no issues at all; still, McCaela reached out to make sure we were settled and to see if we needed anything. We SO appreciated her generosity, kindness, and insight into (and commitment to) the local community. It's clear that a great deal of thought and care has gone into this house, and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. The location is perfect – off the beaten path and extremely private, yet close to everything we wanted in the Berkshires. I highly recommend staying here, ideally for longer than the two nights we did. We can't wait to return!

I really enjoyed the serene stay at the Lannesville unit of Maxim. It was really a one thing to recommend about. I with my two kids and Wife relaxed there. It was v soothing! And I highly revommend this place to my anyone in known. Also, Maxim himself was v responsive on text. It was a good experience and I think the price was reasonable too.

Sahar's listing was exactly what i was looking for to get away for a weekend. I stayed at the Sol cabin which was located right next to the start of the hiking trail. The cabin itself is clean and the kitchen has everything you need to make a simple meal. The property is very private and I really enjoyed my stay. Would recommend to family and friends.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy, charming cabin! It’s the perfect place to unplug and unwind. Nestled in a peaceful, quiet setting, the cabin feels like a true retreat from everyday life. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch for morning coffee and evening chats. The nearby waterfalls (a 30–40 minute walk or 10-minute drive) were a wonderful way to enjoy the area’s natural beauty. The two-person soaking tub was a highlight—so relaxing after a hike! The cabin is thoughtfully equipped with a small but functional kitchen, which made it easy to prepare simple meals. We also appreciated the high-quality linens and comfortable bed—such a nice touch that made our stay feel special. While it’s ideal for unplugging, there is Wi-Fi if you need it. There are also some cute towns nearby, full of antique shops and local charm. It was the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and low-key exploration. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!

What more could you want? This quaint cabin situated in the woods offers privacy, unique architecture, comfort, and peace. It’s equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the hosts were truly some of the most responsive and kind people I have ever interacted with. They truly went above and beyond for us. We stayed with a toddler and two dogs, and they all loved the property and the cabin. We will most definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at Gunks Eco Lodge! Joe and Barb were outstanding hosts-super responsive and full of excellent hiking advice. We had all the amenities we could possibly need, and the unexpected highlight was definitely seeing a barred owl right there while enjoying morning coffee on the front porch. A perfect, well-equipped base for exploring the Gunks and a 10 minute drive to downtown New Paltz.

Great for a weekend away with my friends and I!!! Looks exactly like the pictures and was listed for an AMAZING price for everything that we got! Would totally come back and could not recommend enough!!!
