Holiday rentals with lake access in Twin Cities

We had a great stay at Nancy's place. It was the perfect base for our stay in Minneapolis. I particularly appreciated being so close to the lakes for daily walks, and Uptown is centrally located and has a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. The home was very comfortable and located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood.

Vicki’s place was absolutely lovely. We stayed for a family wedding and could not have asked for a nicer space of more helpful host. We were 3 couples and had all we needed and more. Vicki accommodated us in several ways, from early check in to quick response to a few questions we had. We’d stay again!

Lower level has large living room , TV , bedroom and full bath. Upper level has large living room, kitchen w dining table and 3 bedrooms and one full bath. Large deck across the front of the house. Parking for 4 vehicles. Three mile paved walking path around the lake right out the front door. 20 minutes to airport. A great place to stay.

Had a wonderful stay it was perfect for our girls weekend and the mini fridge was such a nice touch! I also enjoyed the easy checkout truly made us feel like we could enjoy ourselves this weekend!

The House on Dakota was a perfect place for us. The hosts thought of everything and it felt like a home away from home. Our hosts were gracious, friendly and super responsive. Highly recommend it.

Love that this home was built in 1916 but had so many modern touches .. wasn’t aware that the train tracks were so close but actually brought me Bach to my childhood .. would definitely stay here again & recommend this home .. home away from home ♥️thank you

The house was great! The yard and lake amazing!!! It has plenty of room for our large family getaway. We hired Chef Cameron and that was great too!!!

This small unit has everything you need for a comfortable stay. As a host, Lucie was very communicative and her hospitality was thoughtful and gracious. She provided snacks and bathroom toiletries. With a couple of quirks, everything worked as it was supposed to. One quirk was that the shower will spray water out into the bathroom when you turn it on unless you make sure that the curtain is pulled. Another is that when you turn on the TV, the screen just shows snow, so you have to figure out how to use the remote and the menu system in order to watch Netflix. There is apparently no general TV, if that matters to you. Wi-fi was fine. The lake location is pretty and quiet. Lucie offered us the use of her kayaks. However, it's not really a neighborhood where you can go for walks, so this is a location that you either can use as a base for doing other things in the area, or a place to relax in, along with the deck where you can sit outside. Lucie does a good job for her guests.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The one-bedroom space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The shower was excellent, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The neighborhood felt very safe, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Communication with the host was smooth, and they were very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and secure place to stay by the historic lake.

Great apartment. Terrific location. Steps from the lake. Easy parking. Wonderful deck for sitting out. Kevin has some nice touches like reusable grocery bags. He has a binder with information about the area and the apartment. Very useful. We really enjoyed our stay.

It's a great location on Lake Street, close to top restaurants such as 6Smith and a short walk to shops and the beautiful Wayzata Bay. The unit is spacious and just as described. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and plan to return.

Jodi's place was the perfect house for our team to stay. We were in town for a conference at the convention center and house was about a 10 minute drive from the center, and we saved hundreds of dollars over is staying at a hotel in town. I would look to stay here again if I return to the Twin Cities.

What a charming, cozy and spotless cottage in a very private setting! The description was on point! Very quiet, wonderful neighbors and accessible to parks, restaurants, shopping, etc. Communication with the host was excellent with any concerns! She was lovely to chat with. The stay was great! Beautiful and spacious kitchen area/living room. Clean rooms and all with a “homey” feel, the only thing was that the water had a smell to it. Other than that everything else was fun especially the lake.

Adorable home, pictures don’t do the decor justice. Great view waking up to the lake. Had plenty of kitchen supplies so you don’t have to buy all the basics if you’re cooking. Neighborhood was nice, we went for a run in the morning. Reccommend this cute spot!

Wonderful place to stay and great location. Easy walking distance to the local downtown and the lake.

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage! It was cozy and comfortable, with an old fashioned feel that we really enjoyed. The back patio under the trees is so nice, and we were able to easily walk to Lake Harriet. The hot tub worked great, everything was clean, and hosts were responsive and thoughtful.

We enjoyed our Minimoon here. Was great. Nothing bad to say, other than we clearly didn’t thoroughly read the posting because we were shocked that it was a guest house! Our fault. But anyway, very clean and nice! Would for sure recommend.

Connie's place was exactly what we were looking for: clean, quiet, attractive and conveniently located. My family and I enjoyed the view of the lake and walking the nearby trails. My grandson got a lot of use out of the games and toys. We were able to cook our meals in the fully stocked kitchen. We appreciated the ease of check-in and Connie's responsiveness. Highly recommend!
