Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Tvedestrand Municipality

We felt right at home at the place. The view is fantastic and it's wonderfully quiet there! Also great that we were able to take our dogs with us. The property is fenced, so the dogs could run free there. A typical Norwegian cottage in wood construction, comfortably furnished, with underfloor heating in the bathrooms - wonderful on cool nights :-) A few stairs go directly to the water for swimming and fishing. We were also able to rent a boat at the boathouse at the museum - best regards to Øystein!!! In the village there is a small supermarket with everything you need. There you can also buy a fishing card for the surrounding inland lakes. There was a small problem with the electric, a light bulb had caused a short circuit. Emilie took care of it immediately and hired an electrician to fix the issue! Thank you for that! Otherwise, everything is tip top in order! We had a great time there and would always like to go back there :-)

Lovely house in a stunning location. The view from the living room was absolutely amazing and in a short walking distance to beautiful woodland areas.

Big house in lovely surroundings. If you want to stay in a new and modern home, this is not the place. Here there is plenty of space and everything you need at a very reasonable price. You also walk very nice hosts. Thank you for us.

Great and practical house with plenty of space for two families. Plenty of beds. Would love to want one more bathroom. Plenty of space in kitchen and living room. Located in a beautiful spot on idyllic island. 5 min to walk to the sea. Soccer loop just 200 meters from the house. We had nice days despite changing weather.

Very nice place! We had some nice days in apartment Skarvann. Nice, clean and large apartment, nice host, child friendly area and nice pool! We would gladly came back!

The setting and the view were stunning. The cabin was charming and rustic. It was close to the park and our adult kids enjoyed swimming each morning down at the waterfront.

Very nice apartment. We stayed as a small family and had enough space. The region is beautiful and well connected to Risør via traditional ferry (at least during our stay). We can fully recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Cecilie's apartment in late July 2024! The location in Kragerø can right and easily not get better. When you go out from the building you are in the middle of the busiest pedestrian street in the city with a bustling life and good atmosphere. It is not possible to park in the immediate vicinity of the apartment, but there is short term parking a stone's throw from the entrance so that you can get tired if you come by car. We parked the car in the long-term parking at Rema1000 on Kalstad; where it costs 100,- per day or 500,- per week. From there you can take a bus for 7 minutes back to the city center. The apartment was large, bright and spotless! Really nice with handwritten welcome letter with accompanying snacks and refreshments ;) The balcony was small, but with a fantastic view and enough space to enjoy the morning coffee and feel the atmosphere from Kragerø city that comes to life! All in all we were super happy - one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in! Thank you for us - hope to come back!

We had an amazing long weekend at Jegertunet! The place was just as described – incredibly cozy and absolutely perfect for us: six adults, four children around 10 years old, and a happy dog. The kids stayed in the pool from the time we arrived until we left, with the slide, hot tub and sauna as big favorites. The porch became our focal point for playing, barbecuing and relaxing in the sun. We didn't need to bring anything at all – everything was in place and ready to go, making the stay extra easy and pleasant. We explored the surrounding area with great trips to both the sea and the water nearby, and the tennis court was used extensively by the little ones. An extra bonus was the nice trip to Risør with the small ferry, and the fun visit to the aquarium that created a lot of joy for the whole family. We can highly recommend both the place and the landlord – here you really get everything you need for a super holiday. We would gladly came back!

We had an incredibly nice stay at Eline's summerhouse. Very cozy place in good location and nice amenities. It was easy to communicate with Eline who gave us great information. Highly recommend the place.

We had a great time in this cozy apartment. Plenty of room for the 4 of us, with a great patio and the kids were ecstatic over both rabbits and ducks in the garden. Trampoline and not least that the nice kids in the house would play. Nothing to delay, we are more than happy to rent again.

We spent a night with Thor Arne on our camping trip through southern Norway due to the weather. It was absolutely relaxed. A great apartment. Everything you need is there. Here you can definitely stay longer than just one night!! Thor Arne is super nice, gave us tips and is really a recommended host!!

Stayed here for a weekend since we were going to a wedding nearby. Lots of space in every room, and everything you could possibly need, tumble dryer, AC, dishwasher, larger shower, parking space etc. The GPS is slightly off but we were informed about it, so not a problem finding it. If I am to nitpick at anything it would be firmer pillows but that's highly subjective. Overall a very comfortable stay!

We've had a week at Frødi's lovely cabin. And we're super excited about our stay. It has given our family the perfect summer vacation. At Frødis, you live safely and in the best settings you can imagine. The cabin is located high and has absolutely stunning views. Sitting and looking out over the water from the terrace is like a living painting. Totally unique. We also borrowed Frødi's boat, which is a short walk down by the gang. Borrowing the boat opened a lot of opportunities in the archipelago. The boat was easy to operate and we had some great trips in it. And Frødis is absolutely sweet and nice. Had made a very nice description of both cabin and area. And was very kind to communicate with. All in all, we can only highly recommend the cabin, where we are already talking about returning. We hope that everyone who borrows the cabin will take good care of it. It's unique to be able to spend your holiday such a lovely place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nina and Morten are very friendly and excellent hosts with fantastic accommodation. They prepared the cabin (clean & tidy) and welcomed us during the self-check-in with a few treats and drinks. We felt very welcome right away. The cabin is well-equipped (towels, extra blankets, fully equipped kitchen). The area is somewhat secluded on an "island" (two bridges) and quiet, close to nature. We observed deer/stags in the distance or encountered them on the driveway. Once, a fawn was even 3m away from the window in the garden, grazing :-). We also rented a boat from Nina&Morten. The communication with them was exemplary. Morten kindly showed us the boat on-site and gave us a briefing. They also provided a life jacket for our child! You can navigate safely through the fjords, fishing and swimming or even go shopping by boat ;). If we had any questions, both hosts were always reachable and consistently offered help. We had a great time in Norway. Thanks for allowing us to use the cabin:-)!
