What a wonderful historical place to stay. The Station Masters house was not available for my stay after all, and I was moved into a flatlet for the first night, and then into the Station Foreman's House for the remaining two nights, which was a delightful old house with an undercover stoep, perfect to sit and read while a thunderstorm was growling outside. The village and it's many museums is well worth a visit and I spent several hours trawling through the library, car museum, wagon museum, Bushman Art museum and more. The property is extremely peaceful and even wandering around by myself I felt safe and comfortable. The pub serves tasty food and I can recommend the steak and chips. But the house had a fully equipped kitchen to make simple meals for myself too. Everything is a little old fashioned, but if you enjoy history and a bit of atmosphere over modern appliances, then this is a magical place to spend a few days.

Great neighborhood, close to amenities. But distant enough, for that peacefulness. Iviwe's communicational skills are on point.

We loved staying at Rob's place. The surrounding area is just beautiful with the indigenous forest right in front of the house and it was so inspiring to see how Rob built everything himself. We loved the way the "tiny home" is arranged.

This is a great place for one night on the way to Durban. The house is surrounded by a large fence, we felt safe.
