Lovely view to the east, with the sun shining onto the bed in the morning which I love. Short drive into Bathurst town centre. Hosts were nice and friendly but not at all intrusive. Might not be suitable just to hang around all day but was perfect to arrive in the afternoon, relax before our show, stay overnight and then have a leisurely departure next day.

Fabulous spot for a relaxed holiday. Perfect little retreat for my 9yo and me. Breakfast was taken care of, the kitchen was fully equipped, beds were comfy and beautifully made, and we could bounce around loudly with disturbing anyone! Liz invited us to feed animals at 4.30pm each day and we met the adorable farm dogs 🐕😍. Sadly, I wasn't allowed to take one home with us! Excellent value and wide open spaces. The Shearer’s Cottage was absolutely beautiful. Very beautiful surrounds - so peaceful to wander around. It was great having a little fireplace too! Everything was very comfortable. Ryan was very helpful and friendly. The town was also close by if you needed anything. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our time at Conmurra Wildlife Sanctuary. The location is quiet and surrounded by nature, which made for a relaxing stay. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. One of the highlights was being able to see and learn about the wildlife on the property — a unique experience that felt personal and respectful of the animals. Joel and Andrea were friendly and helpful, and it’s clear they care deeply about what they do. If you're looking for a quiet getaway with a bit of a difference, this is a lovely place to stay. We left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and glad we chose somewhere so unique. We’ll be back!
