Family-friendly holiday rentals in Troy

This was our 2nd stay at this property. If you love the Berkshires and all the activities available, this house and property are perfect. It is very well maintained and the great room is perfect for our large family. Nothing like the hot tub and sitting around a fire after a busy day of hiking and Tanglewood. Wendy is an excellent host, never a problem.

Fantastic space for a large group. We had 10 people for a New Year’s Eve ski weekend, and this was the ideal spot for it. Hot tub was a great treat. Be warned - the floors are squeaky, so if you’re a light sleeper in a large group bring ear plugs.

A great spot and close to track and downtown Saratoga Springs. Very comfy and spacious for a group up to 8. Some cute items Star Wars decor.

My stay at Angel’s Airbnb was wonderful! The space was incredible, the features such as the hot tub and the fire pit were great for a fall get away. Angel was very communicative and the location was perfect.

Thank you so much Laura for giving us an opportunity to stay at your beautiful house. We went there to celebrate our daughter’s 12th birthday and it actually turned out amazing. I’m also very thankful to you for actually sending the toy which my little daughter left there. We have received it last night, and she was beyond happy. Hopefully, we can do it again and enjoy the stay there again the following years.

Spent the perfect cabin weekend with friends. No TV in the main room, so we actually had conversations (imagine that). The 3-season enclosed deck was great for board games, and the yard? Prime for lawn games and s’mores around the fire pit. Hot tub was the ideal post-hike move. Plus, the nearby town is straight out of an Irish postcard. Highly recommend. 🍀🔥🛶

This is an incredible home. We had a really special weekend here. The house itself is beautiful - it’s decorated so well, and it’s really spacious, so comfortable for a big group. The outdoor space is lovely too - there’s ample space to relax outside and take in the gorgeous scenery :) can’t recommend enough!

2nd year staying here and it was perfect both times. Heather is a great host and is always responsive. I'll have my eye on it for next year's trip!

Ellen is a spectacular host who communicated clearly and promptly responded to questions. She also gave us invaluable local recommendations that made our trip that much better. The property is beautiful. If anything, the pictures don't do it justice. I would highly recommend Ellen's cabin for anyone looking for peace and relaxation!

We had an amazing stay at the goat yurt. The property is absolutely beautiful and both Rick and Ed are wonderful hosts who provided such a kindness when it came to showing us around and providing us with everything we needed and more. There is so much to do on the farm from exploring the trails to hanging out with the goats and even cuddling up with Jack the cutest little cat. Thank you! We will definitely be back!

Awesome place right in the heart of Albany! Very close to restaurants/bars as well as a very large green space - Washington Park. Both are just a half block away. Perfect! Would stay again thanks Sugey

Our family loved our stay at this house. It is a peaceful and serene setting in a beautiful wooded area. The host was very accommodating on short notice. The house has a very nice and inviting interior, it feels very homey and comfortable. There are many nice places for a hike and the view at the top of the hill on the property is quite scenic, we could see the Catskills to the south. There are all the modern amenities, and the (decorative) antique wood burning stove in the kitchen was a neat touch. I would definitely recommend this place!

When I first pulled up to Kliment's, I literally teared up - that's how breath-taking his spot is. It was just what the doctor ordered... if doctors actually treated your mind, body, and soul and not just your body :) Seriously though, Kliment's place was an oasis for me: private, quiet, peaceful, with amazing views of the Catskill mountains. His home itself was beautifully decorated, simple yet super cozy, and had everything I needed and then some. (And the chickens were lovely company as well!) Kliment is one of the best Airbnb hosts I have ever had, hands down. With a very hectic schedule, Kliment was flexible, responsive, kind and patient with accommodating my many change requests and needs throughout my stay. Kliment is not just a wonderful host, but also a truly wonderful person - the world needs more people like him. In short: I can't recommend Kliment's home or him as a host enough! If you are hovering over the "Reserve Now" button, book it!!! You won't regret it! :)

Staying at Will and Aenne's barn house was fun and wholesome. I enjoyed saying hello to the animals and the jungle shower most of all. The barn has everything one needs. Though, I must say I was very intimidated by having to light the chef's stove. We walked from the barn to the waterfall down town which was beautiful--great place to hang out and swim in the warmer months. The village of Kinderhook is adorable with quaint little shops. Hudson city had some of the best food I've had in a long time; I strongly recommend eating at Cafe Mutton. Overall, Will and Aenne were very hands-off hosts--as in, they gave us our space and privacy--while still being responsive and attentive. Thank you for the stay! I hope to come back again!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-bath home on Saratoga Lake! The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was definitely the dock—it made fishing right from the property incredibly easy and fun. Vicki and John were wonderful hosts—super responsive and available for any questions we had throughout our stay. Their hospitality really made us feel at home. We’re already looking forward to coming back and making more great memories. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful lakefront escape in the Saratoga area.

Bobby was the ultimate host in every way. I felt so relaxed and comfortable in his home that I extended my stay for another week and have already booked for a future stay. The home is beautiful, full of original art, cozy and perfectly suited for a quiet getaway yet close enough to Hudson, Kinderhook and Catskill. The house gets beautiful morning light and I found it very relaxing having my morning coffee on the sun porch. The flowers and trees were just starting to bloom in the garden - making it the perfect canopy for my guests and I to have an early evening cocktail before heading into town for dinner. Very much looking forward to returning in a few months!

This is our fifth year coming to the farm. Larissa is absolutely masterful with kids of all ages (even tough kids). My daughter races out at 9 am to do farm chores and begs for more (and this is a kid who drags her feet doing chores at home)!! We love the rhythm of farm and find it really easy to disconnect and unwind. After chores in the morning, you're welcome to spend as much time as you want with the animals, which is a real treat. Whether it's feeding the horses hay, sharing food scraps with the goats, or watching the chickens do their evening routine, there's so much to enjoy. The local towns are lovely, but if you like the farm experience, you may never leave the property. Larissa is incredibly knowledgeable and generous in sharing her experience and expertise. She has created an absolutely magical environment, and I would highly recommend visiting!!

We loved staying at this quiet paradise! Aaron was very friendly and hospitable. He has a lovely pool, garden, and fire pit, but nothing was more amazing than the view of the mountains from the backyard!

Perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 kids. Andrew & Tracy were fantastic hosts and the home was nice and spacious. A quick drive brought us to downtown Saratoga and the racetracks! We hope to stay again soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Darrel & Sara’s for a long holiday weekend. So nice to have the pool and backyard available on the summer days. And a nice cozy fire pit with chairs and a table and lighting for hanging later at night. Darrel & Sara were open and communicative with us from the start. I have severe cat allergies, but for this trip we were traveling with friends who had a dog. When I inquired ahead of time about the specifics of the kind of pet friendly space I can stay in, I received a thoughtful and understanding response from the hosts. We were attending a couple of shows at SPAC and the proximity to the park was truly a gift.

Great hosts that make you feel right at home. We were greeted with some extra special touches that we were not expecting during our stay, that was very thoughtful. The space is exactly as pictured and very comfortable. We would definitely come back

This was our second stay at the Queechy Lake house and it did not disappoint! The home is wonderfully maintained, fully equipped and cozy - we appreciated the new additions of the pool and backyard activities. It rained most of the weekend but we utilized Meredith and Jason’s local recommendations and had a blast.

We had a great visit! The hosts were extremely responsive and even offered early check-in since the house was ready ahead of schedule. The layout was perfect for our group and the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials (and more). The pool was an added bonus and we were able to spend time in the quiet yard. The area was quiet and just a short drive to Broadway, the race track, and other spots in the area. Communication was clear and check-in and check-out were easy. We would recommend this house and hope to stay again next time we’re in town!

The house was beautiful and Rhonda was great, she was very responsive and helpful. We felt right at home and enjoyed the place more than Lake George :) , the hot tub and pool were great and i would recommend anyone coming to this area to definitely book the place if they get the chance.
