Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Transylvania County

We loved our stay! Ben gave clear instructions on how to find/access the property, was very responsive, and helpful. The house was spotless, comfortable, had everything you need, and the hot tub was a great perk in the cold winter. An added bonus: there is a waterfall to spot on your drive up to the house.

Well, my husband and I have stayed there on and off for the last six months for local work, so we know the place well. Sadly, our project has come to an end, so our most recent stay will be our last for work. BUT, we love everything about Todd and Barbie and the house, and we will be back for fun hiking weekends. Hiking, waterfalls, everything nearby. It's the best place we've stayed in the area. Private, squeaky clean, big deck, large dining room table for big meals or spreading out the paperwork, GREAT internet connection and TV options. We'll definitely be back on our own - we feel so comfortable there in every way. I could not recommend any higher - would give it a "10" if I could. Todd and Barbie also bent over backwards to help us with a couple of last-minute schedule changes. Such honest and thoughtful hosts. Thanks Todd and Barbie for EVERYTHING over the last few months. We love you guys!

If you’re looking for a peaceful house free of the city chaos this is the place! The yard and lake were incredible for our dogs, all hiking trails were anywhere from 20-45 minutes away, but if you wanted to take in nature and soak up the sun you don’t even need leave the backyard! Definitely recommend a 4wd or AWD car in inclement weather , the neighborhood roads can be steep, but our Subaru handled it with no problems. Thanks again for allowing us and the dogs to stay here!

This is an absolutely magical place! The whole living room/dining room feels like you are in a tree house with the walls of glass, high ceilings, post and beam architecture...so beautiful! Nathan was an awesome host, communicative and kind. It was super clean upon arrival. The beds are very comfortable. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Definitely need a car that has all wheel drive or 4WD to get up the driveway in the beginning. We were in a minivan and we had to try 4 times and get a rolling start off the main road to get some power behind us. If my husband wasn't driving I'm not sure I would've been able to do it myself. So, I would take that note in the description seriously. I am so refreshed after my weekend there. Such an amazing house. Spent so much time on the covered deck lounging listening to the birds. Perfect Peaceful Nature get away for families. The lake is just down the hill with kayaks and SUP ready to be used with nice covered picnic tables. Hikes are walkable from the house. Kitchen was well stocked and we felt right at home. Micheal was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful property, and once again, it was absolutely perfect for our group! The accommodations were thoughtfully designed, with separate quarters we were able to use for males and females, which worked out wonderfully. There were plenty of activities for all age groups, and the space was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked — they truly thought of everything. Highly recommend for any group looking for a peaceful and well-planned mountain getaway!

This cabin was absolutely beautiful with an abundance of room. It was incredibly clean and had all the necessities you would need. I would definitely book again should I ever need another big cabin in the future.

Our families stayed here for our niece’s wedding and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed all the amenities, there was plenty of space for everyone, and it’s conveniently close to downtown. Such a beautiful and unique place!

This was the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed in! Such a beautiful location and villa! It was exactly as pictured down to every detail. The villa was spotless and provided everything necessary for our stay. The hiking trails were pleasant and had great areas for a hammock and overlooks. It was extremely private, even with the other villa being occupied we would’ve never known they were there. Julie is a spectacular host! She is so thorough, provides great instructions and ideas, and very responsive. She is very thoughtful in the details of the past, pizza, s’mores, wine, snacks, and coffees/teas/cocoas! There was even a potential for the northern lights to be seen from the cabin and she messaged us to let us know a good spot to see them and even had a lantern and blankets to be able to go out at night. This was such a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back! I couldn’t recommend this listing more!

Alex & Josh were great host! Communicated clear & easy check in and check out instructions and were check in with us throughout our stay. The cabin itself was beautiful and clean, it was stocked with everything we needed pretty much in the kitchen and bathrooms. There were little chocolates on all the beds when we arrived, there were all different types of towels, to bathe, pool towels even make up towels which was , little thoughtful details we appreciated. The location was really great! My boyfriend and I were able to do a bunch of hikes near by but also be close enough to enjoy the downtown Asheville area. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, would definitely return!

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

We really enjoyed our weekend! The house was beautiful, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. And the view was breathtaking! It was the perfect place for our whole family to gather and celebrate our son’s graduation from WCU!

We had a group stay here for a Bachelor party, and I couldn’t think of a better place. Incredible views, and the amenities were amazing. It was very close to downtown and other places we wanted to visit. Veronica was extremely responsive and helpful for any questions we had. She also provided recommendations for the area. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to have a group trip!

This place was incredible! The mountain view was absolutely picturesque - like something out of a postcard. The interior was just as impressive - stylish, thoughtfully decorated and with such a cool vibe that I genuinely felt cooler just for staying there. It's clear the host put a lot of care into creating a space that's both comfortable and memorable. If you're looking for a place to stay in Lake Lure, I can't recommend this house enough! We also really enjoyed our dining experience at Grey Hawk Bar and Gardens. The food, drinks and atmosphere were incredible and it's only 3 minutes from the house!

Eric was always quick to respond to my questions. Was willing to give genuine suggestions. Was very easy to talk to. Loved the location and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Dana’s cabin was absolutely the most beautiful cabin I’ve ever seen!!!!! Every room was so well thought out for a romantic getaway!!!! Her touch of a handwritten note, fresh farm eggs, and a bottle of wine to enjoy during your stay was the perfect touch!!!! Highly recommend for any couple to relax and recharge with your loved one!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Nancy Mountain Bearadise! The house is beautiful, cozy, and well-equipped, offering all the comfort and warmth our family was hoping for. The peaceful mountain setting was the perfect escape, and we especially appreciated the attention to detail in every part of the home. Amazing views and secluded for a perfect place to disconnect and feel refreshed.

Caitlin was an excellent host. Prompt response and bent over backwards for us. It was too cold to enjoy the river but the house is equipped to keep kids busy. Close to Greenville and Lake Jocassee Travelers rest is an easy 20 minute drive. Thanks for sharing your home three different families and a ton of kids. We had plenty of room

This is the PERFECT home for a family and a dog looking to get away and experience the peace of the mountains but who also need to get some energy out and have FUN. Our favorite activity was relaxing together in the hot tub after a long day of hiking in Pisgah/Dupont forest and stuffing our faces in Brevard, we'd stare up at the beautiful trees arching over our heads and watch the birds while our aching legs soaked. Our boys played outside with our dog in the fenced in yard and everything felt safe and secure. They wanted bears, we didn't. Linens were lovely and there were extras for parents who need an extra reading pillow to get thru bedtime. Coffee machine worked great and that is literally the most important feature in an Air bnb for this crew. Very conveniently located to SC side of mountains, nice drive from the south thru Travelers Rest and you can stop at Ceasers Head for a beautiful view. 10/10, would stay here again. WE WILL BE BACK! Our stay here was incredible! The place was so perfect for two people, stocked with everything we needed, and Karen even left a very sweet welcome card and a treat since she knew the trip was to celebrate my birthday. It’s incredibly peaceful, private, and beautiful. Super close to downtown Brevard while still getting to be away from any hubbub. We want to come back already!

We take a family trip to the mountains every year and try to stay somewhere new and unique, and this cabin checked that box. I wanted to stay somewhere close to the hikes we wanted to do, and this was literally a couple of miles down the road from the parking area for Triple Falls-perfect location. We didn’t mind the tight space of the cabin as we were really only there at nighttime and in between activities, and the hot tub was a nice treat after those long active days! The cabin was clean, had plenty of towels for showering and hot tub, and the fire pit area was beautiful and well lit. The only issue we had was that the room with the bunk beds doesn’t have great air flow, so the first night it was quite warm and stuffy in there-but we adjusted the next night by leaving the room’s door open while we cooled the cabin down and left it open overnight. I would suggest bringing a small fan to help, especially as we get into warmer weather! Host was super responsive to questions!

Excellent stay at a true cabin in the mountains. Great views and quiet space. We slept like babies. The area was beautiful. The drive up the mountain requires a 4-wheel drive just as a side note. My son and I loved the hiking right from the house. Mountain biking and hiking walkable from the cabin.
