Erica and Jim are so thoughtful and amazing innkeepers! Their attention to detail was noticable at every turn, right down to the fresh baked cookie every evening! Breakfast was delicious both days! My mom is vegan/gluten free and they where delighted to make a similar dish for her while still accommodating her dietary needs, plus it tasted amazing!! Definitely recommend staying here!! 5 stars *****

Judy is one of a kind host. I couldn’t ask for a kinder lady that was so easy to communicate with and made you feel at home from the start.And to cook you breakfast every morning you’re there. She reminds me of my mom . Me and my brothers have a saying about mom you could cook rocks and make them taste good .She is in that category.If you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay that has the comfort of home this is the place.And her place is super clean.I highly recommend it for your stay in Maggie Valley .

Public spaces were outstanding. Loved the library, a great place to unwind. Delicious breakfasts and the dining room was beautiful. We plan to go back.

Jim and Erica's beautiful b&b far exceeded my expectations! From the dog welcome basket, walkable location to everything downtown/South Slope, homemade cookies and dog treats each night, and the incredible vegan breakfast every morning (I did not ask them to accommodate my diet, they already had all the fixings to make a filling meal would never know was vegan!). they were so easy to communicate with and gave me great recommendations for restaurants and hikes. The room was clean and large, and very accommodating for my furry friend! I can't wait return to Asheville and will be dreaming of this warm, fresh cookies for a long time! 10/10 recommend!

Oh my gosh! My friend and I had a girls' weekend in the Tryon area visiting the local wineries and we stayed at the Green Life Inn, and it was a great experience! Mary's special touches were amazing! There were snacks & water in the room, top-quality soaps and shampoo were provided, and the bed linens were AMAZING! To top it all off, Mary provided quite the spread of food for breakfast. Homemade (yummy) muffins, cheesy hashbrowns with sausage, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee and much more! We will definitely stay there again! Thank you Mary for your hospitality!

We booked same day for a 1 night stay and it was a nice place for what we needed. The fenced dog park area was great for our two dogs. It’s not the fenced in area in the front of the entrance, it’s actually up the hill to the left. We didn’t see the signs at first. It’s pretty large! One of the gates has shifted and small dogs can easily get out so we used a log to block it. Just fyi! We could never get the WiFi to work. They didn’t say which network to join. The host replied once to my question but my follow up question was right after 9pm so they never responded and we. It seems they do not check messages or booking requests unless it’s between the hours of 1pm-9pm. We originally sent our request at 11am and it wasn’t accepted til after 1pm. I understand they have business hours but it made several things tricky. Also we never got any checkout instructions. I do think the price was a bit high. But it was the only place we could find in short notice! We’d stay again if needed.

We absolutely loved our stay with Kathleen and her family on their farm. We were so impressed with how important to Kathleen it was that we have an incredible stay. We felt like we booked the finest place in all of North Carolina because she treated us like prized guests every step of the way. The stay included breakfast, which exceeded our expectations in every way. I would rival Kathleen’s dishes with any of the finest bed and breakfasts in the South. It was some of the best food we have had, and we are still raving about it even days later. The room was cute and comfortable. We felt like we were in a little French cottage, which perfectly complimented our experience since we also visited the Biltmore while we were in town. It truly felt like the gilded age at every corner. We enjoyed the animals on the farm. The big dog that watches over the other animals was the sweetest. The goats surrounded us with love. We even got to see newborn piglets and got to hold them. We will be back!

Can’t possibly say enough good things about this spot. Both John and Debbie were incredible and I left feeling like I had made new friends. Already miss this place and can’t wait to come back next time. If you’re looking for somewhere in the area to stay this should absolutely be #1 on your list.

We had a wonderful stay at Creekside Inn B&B . Mike was there to great us soon as we arrived and gave us a tour of the entire inn . We felt right at home , Mike suggested several spots for dinner and his wife also had several options for us to try . The restaurant we picked was a great place and was one of their recommended spots . The space was warm and inviting with ample space and great views. We had a restful night and were very pleased with the wonderful breakfast served the next morning . We also meet a nice couple from Raleigh NC who were also enjoying their stay . We will definitely be back soon for another stay , super close to I-40 Easy access in and out

Jeffrey was a fantastic host! Super accommodating, the farm to table breakfast was amazing, and it helped us disconnect from everyday life. My wife and I can’t wait to go back!

What a wonderful fine. Beautiful room and very very clean. Anyone needed a place near Clemson University should give this a try. 15 mins away

Staying here was like staying with your favorite relative, very cozy, beautiful views, a hike with a Mountain View on the property, the sweetest dog you could want who welcomes you any time you pull up. We wish we could come here every year. Sharon’s coffee cakes were delicious and she provided a little breakfast and snacks every day. This far exceeded our expectations and the price was very affordable. Also, Weaverville is the cutest little town and only 20 minutes from Asheville.

Friendly host, luxury linens, and the most beautiful surroundings!! This place was awesome. My husband and I arrived late on Christmas night around 9pm. I mentioned to TJ how we weren’t able to find anywhere open to eat (because of Christmas) and TJ (the innkeeper) ended up making us 2 turkey sandwiches for dinner!! Talk about hospitality. We stayed in the Riverside Suite and the linens were AMAZING. I was not expecting that but the sheets were ultra soft as well as the towels and the mattress was so comfy. Literally checked the brand to buy the towels for my house. The hot tub is the perfect way to relax after hiking all day and our pup enjoyed every minute. I was grateful to get to chat with TJ and the story behind the inn and how he has put his heart in soul into that place. You can feel that spirit and love throughout the whole property. We will definitely be back!!

A paradise for those who love the woods like us. So quiet you could hear gentle breezes blowing through the trees. Cottage was clean and spacious inside. Nice side porch to sit on in the early evening. Ruth and Stephen were very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to another stay.

What's more, the affordability of this accommodation was impressive, offering great value for the price. This is by far one of my favorite listings I have stayed at! As soon as you walk in the door you feel at home! You can truly tell how much love and work went into the space and the shared home is beautiful! My room was incredibly clean and had not only the sweetest goodies but also had local magazines, local recs, and of course helpful house instructions! The amenities were a huge bonus: great breakfast selection, laundry available, and the living room had a fun selection of games! The house also had great spots to hang out outside and enjoy the beautiful weather! Communication with Lindsy was always quick, clear, and kind!! I felt in safe hands with her and extremely taken care of from a guest perspective! I would highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking to stay in the Greenville area :)

Our stay was perfect! The space was inviting, incredibly clean and well maintained. It is a perfect cozy spot for a winter getaway but I would also love to visit any other time of year. Robin’s Nest is at the top of our list when we return to Asheville.

We were just coming in for a night before joining a staff retreat and didn’t want to pay for an entire house to ourselves for one night, so we decided to rent a room here. Extremely affordable and really nice home. The little breakfast in the morning was great. Lindsy was extremely helpful and even let us do a little later checkout so we could have a slow morning. Others were very polite and quiet. And there were plenty of things around that we wanted like good coffee shops and even a state park for a nice little walk/hike. Bed was very comfortable which isn’t always the case but huge for our backs. We loved it and will definitely do it again if the situation is similar in the future. Highly recommend!
