Monthly Rentals in Trachilos

Great place directly opposite the beach - fantastic if you have toddlers like us. We ended up having dinner at the restaurant next door every day because the kids could play out there while we ate. If you want to visit the most beautiful beaches on Crete, this west coast location is great (though it should be noted that the beach near the house is actually facing north, which means it is thankfully not frequented by tourists). The host is very friendly and willing to help with any issues. The airbnb was very well equipped and prepared for our visit (including items we would not ordinarily expect like fruit, cake, and even a dinner on the first night - though we obviously knew about it based on previous reviews). We would come back here in a heartbeat!

Beautiful place in front of the beach and near Balos. Sara speaks Italian and for me it was a very precious thing! The girls who were at the restaurant were very kind. The breakfast offered is very good, both sweet and savory! I recommend it because by making it your base you can see the most beautiful beaches of Crete.

Beautiful cottage with a great location for people who rented a car. For a quiet day, the beach is 50 meters from the house. Restaurant max 10 min away. Great views and all amenities as described. Air conditioning for a hot day, equipment available for cooking. The house is spacious with air conditioning in the rooms. All the windows have shutters and mosquito nets that make it easy to enjoy the sea breeze.

Lovely location, great host and exactly as advertised. Our favourite parts were the rocky peninsula opposite the fort, with an abundance of rock pools and spots to jump in, and the cooking facilities which were well stocked.
