Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Townsend

Exactly like the pictures! They almost don’t do the view justice! The hot tub was one of our favorite parts. We drove about 40 min to Cade’s cove for a hike.. highly recommend. We also stopped at “Burger Master” and “Townsend Abby Pub” where David took great care of us! We will definitely be back to the Rocky Top Retreat!

This was a great place to stay. The giat was responsive. The accommodations were very clean and everything was as described. I would highly recommend staying here.

Jerry and Kelli made this trip for my partner and I just that much better! The house and property was stunning and perfect. Their communication was refreshing but professional. They are true symbols of hospitality. We even decided to stay another night before we left. Will definitely be booking again and hopefully soon!

Lovely “place to land” as the description says! We were in town for a family event and were in and out of the house but it was a wonderful place to be able to come back to and to spend the free time we did have! Everything we needed was available when we arrived and instructions for check in and check out were very clear - Susan was super friendly and communicative through the whole process (booking, arrival, and when we left). Very drivable into Knoxville and all the local places listed in Maryville are extremely accessible to the AirBnB! Loved how conveniently it was located. Would recommend to anyone looking for a spot to stay in the area!

The cabin was located in a very private gaited community overlooking a spectacular view. Whether it was sunny or raining the deck overlooking the mountains was peaceful and beautiful. The house exceeded our expectations. We look forward to staying at Plein Air again.

This house was absolutely STUNNING! Every day the view was just amazing. Owners VERY responsive! Enjoyed the hot tub and unit was well equipped in kitchen and nice touch with starter supplies. We found beds comfortable and all 6 of us (adults) could find some privacy. Enjoyed the billiards and the fireplace on the balcony was the perfect backdrop to talk about our adventures. The road was a bit scary if you are afraid of heights and hairpin turns! We got more comfortable as the week went on but we were still reluctant to drive in the dark! The house was good location to Sevierville. Enjoyed Holstens for dinner. The main drag is only about a 25 minute drive. Gatlinburg was about a 35 minute drive. Smokey mountains NP about 45 mins from house . We saw 6 bears on this trip. 1 ran past us in the driveway and we got a good picture from the balcony. Be careful to lock the doors to your car! Lovely place! Very picturesque and peaceful. Couple of things to know: the water has some sulphur so if you think you are smelling rotten eggs then it is the water. Also, the air conditioner is right above the bed and blows right on you so if you are hot-natured and your spouse is cold-natured then one of you will be uncomfortable 😉

Great host! Great value! Everything was easy and smooth right from the starts. No issues whatsoever but if we did have one we were confident they would get back to us extremely quickly.

Susan had a wonderful place for us to stay! She was responsive and friendly. The unit itself was very clean and nicely put together.

By far one of the best places we have ever stayed with AirBnB. It was spotless, well furnished, located close to everything. Kathy was an excellent host and we will check availability of this place the next time we are in the area.

So excited to see the mountains every morning. This is why we came to the area in the first place! Great decor and amount of space for two of us. Comfy bed and cute outdoor space we actually made time to use. If you want a place to decompress this is it! Plus Annie is super cute.

Walter was incredibly responsive, friendly and helpful. The space was well maintained and had all the essentials in the kitchen and bathroom. There is a TV in both the living room and bedroom which was a great plus, but we were mostly out and about given that it is so central to all of the hiking trails. It was a great stay.

A great find close to everything in Gatlinburg! Comfortable beds, quiet at night. Temperature was perfect as they had two AC units. Free, easy parking. The unit was stylishly decorated and ww loved the full size mirrors! We visited Anakeesta and Skypark all in one day as well as the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.

We stayed there with our two granddaughters. More than enough room. The 5 yr old loved the bunk bed! We had hoped to see bears like others had but luck was not on our side. We loved being able to get away from the congestion in town to unwind. Very quiet

The accommodation is in a spectacular location nestled right in the foothills of America’s most iconic parks. Even with its reasonable price, the room is identical to that you’d find at a 5 star hotel. The view of Kuwohi from the porch and bedroom was breathtaking! All the amenities provided were perfect and Matt even left us a couple of movie night snacks which was so nice! One of the coziest beds we’ve ever slept in as well.

Keith’s condo is a treasure! It’s a beautiful and thoughtfully designed space. My friends and I stayed here after visiting the synchronous fireflies in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We arrived well after dark, but Keith’s directions made it easy. The condo itself is beautifully decorated. The window bed downstairs has a firm mattress and I slept great. The bed in the loft has a soft mattress topper—my friends said it was like sleeping on a cloud. Come morning, we were stunned by the gorgeous views from each side of the condo. This is a special place that I definitely recommend! Keith was also easy to communicate with. I left a prescription cream behind, and he took the time to reach out to see if I needed it. I appreciated that attentiveness.

Loved the big windows next to the bed. We fell asleep looking at the beautiful view. The windows and big sliding door had screens that allowed us to open them up and enjoy the fresh cool air all night. The TV was huge and rotated towards the bed as well which made for a perfect movie night. The location was great. Close enough to the must do attractions. But high enough in the mountain to feel secluded. Will definitely book again!

Beautiful place to stay with an incredible view. It was quiet and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle in Gatlinburg below. If you’re not afraid of heights, you’re on the top!

We had a great stay at this 1-bedroom, 1-bath in Gatlinburg! The location is fantastic—just a short walk (less than 10 minutes) to the main strip with tons of food, shops, and entertainment options. It was so nice to be close to everything but still have a quiet place to relax. The unit was newly remodeled, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Free parking was a big plus too! We’d definitely stay here again next time we’re in town. Highly recommend!

The space was clean and the hosts had clear instructions. The bed was very comfortable. Nice location as well; you can walk to restaurants in Gatlinburg.
