House holiday rentals in Torrington

This beautiful property has a special place in our hearts. We stayed in the A frame during COVID and we always wanted to come back. This time we stayed in the main house and it was phenomenal. Wish the weather was better for us to use the pool, but next time! It well worth the price. Only an hr from the city and it feels like a full vacation. Wonderful way to lose time time for a few days. We will be back!

I absolutely enjoyed my weekend here. The home is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need was provided In the home. Everything was clean, and neat. House is filled with light. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The host were amazing and had great communication, assisted us when needed right away. I would highly recommend staying here, and they are pet friendly which is always a plus for me. The yard is fenced in. Which made it easy to let the dog out, and great for the dog to explore. A++++ Will probably be back sometime In the future.

The pool house is so cute and the outdoor patio is gorgeous and the perfect place to relax. Great place to stay if you want to stay near New Haven but also want to enjoy quiet away from the city. Sue is a responsive and very generous host!

We had an amazing time at Marybeth’s suite—it truly felt like a winter wonderland. Our kids had a blast "swimming" in the snow and "rolling" over the gentle hills. Every moment was filled with joy, whether we were relaxing in the sunroom, playing in the snow, or swinging outside. The time spent together as a family, along with our conversations with Marybeth and her family, was truly precious. We can’t wait to return in the summer!

My family and I had such a wonderful time. The home and the surroundings were so beautiful, peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. Everything was very clean, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. My toddler especially enjoyed the cute bathtub in the master bedroom. The pool was beautiful, just wished we were there when the weather was nicer, as the water was quite cold. The restaurants nearby (10 mins away) were so good, we especially loved everything from a place called Kingsley Tavern. Overall, loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Obsessed with this Airbnb! My husband, dog and I typically go to upstate NY or the Berkshires for long weekends but I came across this Airbnb as I had an event in westchester over the long weekend. Highly recommend! So much hiking, wonderful restaurants and so close to the city. My dog loved this property as well! Will be back.

We stayed 4 nights at the Moody House. Description of the house was perfect- check-in was seamless. We loved all the natural lighting in the house. Even with a lot of rain, we enjoyed the views of the backyard and quiet area. We didn’t use the hot tub but was provided a video on how to use. Jessica and Adrian provided a great list of shops, grocery stores and restaurants- which we used, so much appreciated! Highly recommend this Airbnb.

Thank you for a lovely visit. We were in Litchfield with two other couples to go to a wedding. The house was perfect for us. The house had everything we needed. Two of the four rooms only have twin beds but we didn’t mind. I only wish the weather was warmer so we could use the pool!

Would gladly stay here again. Shawn was responsive and the place had everything we needed. Hope to come back to this part of CT again

This charming, rural home has a touch of mid-century fun throughout. But the best part is the gorgeous lawn and waking up to the sound of the rushing brook right outside the window. Rebecca was so friendly and responsive and included lots of little touches that were very thoughtful.

Kellen and Samantha's home and property are very special--a wonderful location for a restful retreat in nature that is also a short drive to several charming towns in northwest Connecticut. The hilltop site offers breathtaking views of surrounding mountains, valleys, and forest. The residence sits atop a long driveway off a gravel road so is serenely quiet and private. Inside, the space was immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortably furnished. The shower, bed, towels, and linens were all particularly fantastic, as was the full kitchen which allowed us to cook nightly. The area is exceptional for hiking, culinary delights, and all sorts of shops. And our hosts were proactive, helpful, and clear in all of their communications. We really loved staying here, as did our dog, and we hope to return. Highly recommended!

The house is absolutely gorgeous and is in a quiet neighborhood. But it's also not too far from shops and things to do. Our host was very responsive and accommodating and I would recommend booking this house any time.

By far one of the nicest air B&B’s we’ve stayed in. Beautifully renovated carriage house on an incredible piece of property. Todd and Janet warmly welcomed us with their chickens’ fresh eggs, fruit and muffins. Kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals and we enjoyed dining al fresco while hawks flew and deer ran across the fields. Upstairs is a comfortable bed with nice linens and a large bathroom. This is a real gem! We hope to return in the future.

Meredith’s house is absolutely great. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and living room, very spacious. It is adjacent to a very tranquil river and has a big back yard. Getting into the area was a bit difficult due to some serious roadwork, but once we were there, it was splendid. Meredith is super responsive and a great host. Would come back!

We had a wonderful time at Michelle’s place. The house is spacious and full of charm, nestled in lush greenery that made the stay even more relaxing. Michelle was incredibly friendly and responsive, and we felt right at home.

This lace is charming. and so quiet... The detail she put into it to make it feel comfortable and fun She was great as her mom was too lots of help - there to answer any questions. - I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This was the perfect place to relax after visiting family all day. Hector's place was clean, private, and peaceful. the drive way is a little hard to find but GPS will get you there fine. The airbnb had everything we needed and loved the back deck for grilling. highly recommend.

My wife, our two kids, and our friends who also have kids had a spectacular time staying at Lindsey's over Memorial Day Weekend. We booked last minute but were very pleasantly surprised at how much fun we ended up having in the area as well as Lindsey's place in particular. It's a beautiful house, immaculately kept, easy check in and check out, with absolutely everything we could possibly have needed. There were all kinds of really fun activities for the kids and us both at the house and in the surrounding neighborhoods which made our stay memorable. me and kids was there for a mini getaway and everyone had their on bed which was dope a.f..my 10 yo nephew played on trampoline..for extended stay she has washer and dryer (we spent one night didn't use it) only complaint I have is when I took a shower it was a leaning curve with the water temp I couldn't figure the thing out my kid had to help me figure it out besides that place is great imo

I rented this AirBnB for my bother and sister and their kids to stay at during my father's funeral services. Silvain was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions I had. The house has 2 separate sections so my siblings and their families had their own sleeping space. The house was very clean and they even had some free amenities as welcome gifts. There was a bathtub that was out-of-order, but I did see it listed as such in the description prior to renting. The backyard has a wonderful firepit section we were able to enjoy. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to rent in this area, even if it would be a little out of your way. As soon as I saw the property, I knew my siblings would love it and I no longer had to stress about where my siblings would stay during my father's funeral proceedings.
