Holiday rentals with a kayak in Topsail Beach

Excellent location, beautiful, well appointed home with outdoor deck access from virtually every room, gorgeous views. Very clean and spacious - perfect for multifamily or multigenerational get togethers. Lovely that each bedroom had an en suite bathroom. Elevator is a huge added bonus for initial unload and packing up. Very well stocked kitchen with cooking equipment, utensils and ample storage. Easy to get to Wilmington which is a great town to explore. Emily is a terrific host who is very accessible and kind. Cannot recommend Emily or her beautiful home more highly! Thank you Emily!!!

This was my second stay at Rob’s. The location on the canal and close to the beach was fantastic! The house had everything we needed for a great stay! We enjoyed the kayaks on the canal and the short walk to the beach!

Often times pictures tend to over accentuate the home. In this case, pictures COULD NOT do the home justice! Clean and classy interior space. But what sold us was the AMAZING outdoor space - deck, patios, fire pit, smoker, corn hole, kayaks, Sonos music throughout, even a crab trap (caught 6 good size blues one night). We had 5 young(ish) adults & used every one of the diff spaces and accommodations this wonderful place offered. The downstairs room w/reclining sofa and ground level entry made it very easy for our teenagers to sneak back in late at night, without waking us - ha! All cabinets, drawers, and pantry space were labeled and well stocked. The smoker had lump charcoal and fire starters ready to greet us a few logs to get the fire pit started for SMORES! Shawn and Melissa were so responsive and graciously helped us navigate through a few unknowns along the way. Cannot say enough about this home or the hosts! They truly made us feel like we were their special guests!

This was a wonderful housing experience! The house was cozy and clean and had plenty of space for all the members of our family. It was in a fantastic location that was extremely convenient for us to get to stores and restaurants. Would 10/10 recommend. Kermit and Amy instructions were very clear, and they answered my questions right away, …A very attentive host team.

Chad was responsive from the moment we booked his beautiful home until the moment we checked out. He has thought of everything to make the stay a restful experience. He was proactive in ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the stay. The home is down a quiet street near beautiful beaches and has access to the river which we enjoyed kayaking on. We had a great stay and look forward to booking Chad’s place in the future.

The place was perfect in every aspect: The location, size, accommodations, amenities, and proximity to the areas we frequented. For our tennis group, the total cost was less than what a hotel would have cost, which is historically where we used to stay. This experience, summarized by our ability to share one place, travel together, have meals together, watch TV together, and have the large space to spread out was absolutely fantastic. The experience was positive any which way you look at it. On top of that, Jana (and her husband) were super hosts with super friendly communication. We wish we had the opportunity to meet them in person, but..............maybe this time next year :-).

We had such a lovely stay at the Tew Cottage! Conveniently located near your beach of choice and downtown areas. The cottage was spotless and well decorated, we felt right at home. Sharlene is a wonderful host and was extremely kind and attentive. We will definitely be back!

We had a great week at the beach staying at Sue’s house! The house was the perfect size for our family of four. It was just a short walk to a public beach access. We also enjoyed kayaking in the creeks behind the house, watching the beautiful sunsets on the back deck, and grilling and eating in the awesome area under the house. Sue was very responsive whenever we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great long weekend stay. The house exceeded our expectations, was spacious and the views were incredible. Only a half mile drive to the bridge leading to the surf city pier.

Beautiful, clean home and bug-free, which was really important to me in such a humid area. We enjoyed the views from the deck right outside our bedrooms and spent lots of time drinking cocktails in the big screened-in porch. We also loved the little bar area with ice machine. Only thing to keep in mind is if you bring a boat, you can’t tie it to their dock, and the boat ramp is small and not easy to get in and out of. Everything else was great. Frederick is an awesome host, always responsive and accommodating with any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this place for a summer getaway.

The welcoming front porch was a favorite spot to sip morning coffee and enjoy the breeze. Inside, the cottage has a charming coastal vibe with vintage touches that add character and warmth. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into making it both stylish and comfortable. The space was clean, well-kept, and incredibly well-supplied with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to beach gear. If you're looking for a place with personality, tranquility, and easy access to Oak Island’s beautiful beaches, this cottage is a fantastic choice. We’d definitely come back!
