Absolutely Perfect Stay – Highly Recommended! My fiancé and I recently stayed here with our two dogs, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the home felt warm, welcoming, and incredibly comfortable. The house itself was spotless and impressively well-stocked, far beyond what you’d typically expect from an Airbnb. Everything we needed was readily available, from kitchen supplies to cozy blankets, making our stay effortless and relaxing. Our dogs had an amazing time exploring the fully fenced backyard while we enjoyed unwinding in the private hot tub — the perfect way to relax after a day of adventures. The location is fantastic: quiet, peaceful, and just minutes away from Lake Tahoe, scenic hiking trails, and Tahoe City. The provided bikes added an extra layer of fun and made exploring the area even more enjoyable. John's home exceeded our expectations in every way and is an ideal spot to make new memories. We will definitely be back.

Thunder Lodge was a joy to stay at. Hauserman Rental Group was very responsive to my questions/requests for recommendations from the start. The check-in process went smooth with a lot of communication upfront. We were worried about no AC being from Florida, but this caused us no issues as we were out during the day and the temperature dropped at night. Aside from no shampoo/conditioner, the house was equipped with everything you could need (towels, paper towels, basic cleaning supplies)! For any grocery/toiletry needs, there's a Safeway and CVS 10 minutes down the road in Tahoe City. There are plenty of cafes/restaurants in the area. I recommend West Shore Market and Fire Sign Cafe in Sunnyside. There's a roadside beach about a 10-minute walk away. There are also plenty of other beaches within a short drive. For water sports, I'd recommend West Shore Sports in Homewood!

Stayed here for the last 2 days of our honeymoon after a busy week in Napa. What a perfect place to unwind, relax, and get back to nature! The cabin was absolutely perfect for us and provided a great home base for anything in and around Lake Tahoe as it’s located pretty much central to everything around while still being secluded enough to not feel like you’re in a city. The neighborhood was super safe and quiet too; I left my wallet on the dash, doors unlocked over night accidentally, and nothing happened, nor would I be worried to start. Jolene was an amazing host, provided exceptional check-in/out directions, and fantastic local recommendations, and was absolutely un-intrusive. The cabin was fully stocked with quality stuff for everything we needed; plenty of towels, soaps, laundry detergent, etc. We plan on returning back here in a few months over summer and definitely over winter for some skiing. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious, quiet,Tahoe get away!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was peaceful and the amenities made it feel like home. Note - There is only one bathroom located in one of the two bedrooms, which made it a little awkward when sharing the space with others. I should have noticed that before booking so that was my fault. My husband and I recommend this cabin👍🏼
