Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ticonderoga

We came up for a few nights to elope in the mountains with our two dogs. Meghan was so accommodating. This is our second time at this cabin but plan on making this our go to vacation spot when we come to Lake Placid!

Not sure if it was the mattress, the sheets and quilt, the pillows, the Vermont woods, Vermont fresh air, or the rain hitting the roof… maybe all of it… but, my husband and I have not slept so well in… maybe EVER! Rob’s home is super comfy and dog friendly. The hot tub is a nice feature and works wonderfully. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful location for your visit, this hits all the marks. Sitting outside with your morning coffee is a treat. If weather doesn’t cooperate, recommend sitting in the den in front of the picture window. Our old dog truly appreciated exploring the fenced yard, and we loved allowing him off off-leash. Great place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Monty's place -- the apartment was well stocked with many thoughtful items, the area is very peaceful and near to outdoor activities, and the hosts were friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Beautiful spot to relax, reconnect and leave refreshed! We enjoyed everything about our stay, especially the sauna, living pool, and hike to the yurt! We would love to return, thank you for sharing such a peaceful place with us, it was exactly what we needed.

Wow!! Stay here!! My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Cabin! Everything was squeaky clean, cozy, bed was super comfortable, and had everything you'd need. Hot tub was SO nice, check in was beyond easy, and Amy was a responsive and caring host. Easy five stars!!

Home now after a couple days at the cabin. Feeling fully rested and can’t express enough how much we needed this getaway. Ago and Marty go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and provide you with everything you could need to relax and have a great time. We will be coming back here. Hopefully soon.

We enjoyed celebrating our anniversary in this home. Kitchen was easy to cook in. Lots of creature comforts, extra blankets, towels and all of the essentially we needed for three relaxing nights. We visited in late spring but hope to return and enjoy the view in another season. While there were only two of us, the home can accommodate a larger group comfortably.

Our stay at Luxe Logs was fantastic. To start, Todd shared a very comprehensive welcome guide in advance that was easy to follow and very helpful in getting acquainted with the property. Todd even proactively provided us early check-in without our asking. The property itself was wonderful and perfectly located for Adirondack activities. You really felt like you were deep in the woods, but still just a 5 minute drive to Gore for skiing and less than 10 minutes to town and restaurants. The cabin was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was the perfect balance of quaint/rustic and modern/luxury. After a long day of skiing, the sitting area was extremely comfortable and the kitchen was very well appointed with appliances, cookware, and probably the most spices I've seen at an AirBnB. Everything was just as shown in the pictures and we honestly couldn't think of any complaints. Would 100% stay again.

We had the most amazing weekend at Camp Shady with our family. The space was perfect for our family and the cabin was clean with all of the essentials. The mill creek in the back yard and the entire yard space was amazing. We grilled burgers over the fire pit and fished in the creek for trout. My kids loved the playhouse! Mark was so helpful and accommodating and flexible for our one night stay. I want to go back next weekend! 🤣

Beautiful cabin in the woods that isn’t too far from anything but feels isolated just the same. Terrific base of operations to access many trailheads, Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. Restful and low maintenance stay. We would recommend and visit again.

This is my second time staying at one of Jess’s properties - and I’m sure it’s not my last. The property is beautiful inside and out and has everything you need. I was in town for a full week and this place was just what I needed to relax after long work days. I can’t recommend staying at one of Jess’s places enough. You won’t regret it!!

Lin’s cabin was the perfect home away from home. We booked last-minute during the off-season, but Lin was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, even giving us a heads-up about the yard after a week of heavy spring rain (which still looked beautiful when we arrived!) We loved the outdoor firepit surrounded by string lights –– the perfect spot to relax with our dog and a beverage while watching the finches and hummingbirds visit the many feeders throughout the property. Inside, the cabin was just as welcoming, with charming decor, cozy fireplace, board games, dvds, and a well-stocked kitchen (including milk, eggs, bread, wine, and local beer!). The location was very convenient with hiking trails, restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores all within a 10-minute drive. While there was no cell service at the cabin (highly recommend downloading offline maps prior to arrival) the WiFi was fast and reliable. Overall, we had a five-star stay and can’t wait to return. We stayed for a few days during our April break and had a nice relaxing time. The area was quiet and the host had a ton of great recommendations in their guidebook for things to/places to eat, but a lot were closed for the off-season/the days we were there, even in nearby Manchester (that's on us, certainly no fault of the host's just something to consider when timing your stay). The house had a unique vibe that our kids especially were thrilled with – as Star Wars fans, they referred to it as the Sand Crawler House. The stream directly across the street provided a fun and peaceful attraction and the trails in nearby Jamaica State Park were beautiful as well. The home was as described, stocked with board games and puzzles, etc., and the EV charger was a nice bonus for our plug-in hybrid SUV.

We had a wonderful & relaxing weekend here with a large group for my sister's lowkey bachelorette party. Even with a day of non-stop pouring rain, we were perfectly content with staying in and enjoying the coziness of the house. We had a blast watching the chickens roam around and hanging out with the overly-friendly barn cats while we sat outside. The goats & pigs were happy to greet us at the fence every time. The hot tub and pool were perfect! Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a beautifully scenic and peaceful getaway. Thanks, Sarah & BBVF team!

We really enjoyed this place! The property is beautiful. The pool looked really clean and well cared for (but we didn't have a chance to use it). The supplied linens and especially the bath towels were great. This certainly will be on our list the next time are in VT.

Great studio and location. View of Stowe resort mountain. Easy to get around the resort. Unit was clean and as expected.

I visit the cabins almost every year and I can truly say it is my serenity place, Vasili is an amazing host and Dickie the groundskeeper has everything up to par and is truly an amazing person . Everything is always clean and quiet. I recommend these wonderful cabins 💯 . My home away from home 🫶

Great home near the mountain, exactly how described and shown in pictures. We had a wonderful stay.

Amazing view and cozy vibes. Hot tub and a pool are fun amenities to have. Building has freshly renovated pool and tubs. If you like it there are also sauna pods. So do not forget your swimsuit. It was clean and if you cook there is a kitchen. On top of that it was great to have a balcony with a view. May is a nice time to come even if you are not skiing because it’s not crowded and nature is stunning. And there are plenty of spots for mountain bike. Scott is a great host and local recommendations are helpful and honest. Visit liquid art, if you want a good cup of coffee that’s the right place. Great place!

We enjoyed the stay. Good weather so did not need AC. Good thick towels.
