Monthly Rentals in Thomasburg

4 cousins in our late 50's for a 3 night stay. We have been doing this annually for 30+ years. I can honestly say this has been one of the all-time best stays. The manual in the cottage highlights all of the things to visit & do within 30 minutes. Tweed & Madoc may not have many options for roadhouse & higher-end restaurants but Belleville is a quick 30 minute drive with tons of options. That didn't matter to us as we bought groceries & enjoyed salads, meats & chacuterie because we didn't want to leave the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen is fully equipped whether you do gourmet or quick meals. The kitchen table was perfect to gather around for meals, games and gabbing. The living room & outdoor living space were cozy, comfy & beautifully decorated. The entire house decor was stunning. Minimal & gorgeous. The outdoor & indoor fireplaces add to the coziness. The outdoor ping pong table, inflatable boat and kayaks looked brand new. Running out of space; so much more to say...dang 🙂

What a special location to get away from the noise of the city without being too far away. Charming set up, and had everything you need.

Our stay was nothing short of perfection. The cottage is right by the river, with a fire pit just outside. It’s beautifully furnished. We really enjoyed our time canoeing in the river, and sitting by the fire pit in the evening. Melissa is a great host and shared great recommendations for nearby places to visit. We hope to go back soon again!

I booked a mini Mother’s Day weekend trip with my parents and it was a wonderful experience! It was a quiet and relaxing trip, where we could just sit by the river or just chill on the couch with the windows open while listening to some music on their record player (great selection of vinyls also!). The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were super comfy and the overall space was clean. Julia was also very responsive to any questions and we love that they left little notes on how to use things around the place. Overall, a lovely stay :)
