Perfect!! It couldn't have been better! Well-appointed room in a quiet authentic village! In addition, Despina is a welcoming and lively person and her mom took great care of us by letting us taste the specialties of the island! I had a knot in my stomach leaving this wonderful place! I was going to forget our canteen where we ate every evening for 5 days: we ate wonderfully well and it is run by a lovely family, from grandparents to small children.... its name: le panorama.

George is a great host and a really nice person and accustomed to traditional hospitality , I was travelling alone and he really went above and beyond to ensure my stay in amorgos ran smoothly. The flat is perfectly situated as it’s in a lovely and idyllic village just above the main resort. Staying in folaria offers you such a great opportunity to embrace local life and all the amenities were great including bathroom and kitchen facilities. I made a friend and would definitely recommend his property to anyone who is wise enough to chose amorgos as their holiday destination.

Can’t say enough to convey how wonderful this experience was: Maria( and Viviana) were warm and loving . We felt genuinely welcome and cared about. The home is just lovely: the setting, the views out every window , the art, colors and simplicity of the interior . Just what we wanted: an immersion in the culture . Everything was simply wonderful.

We had a great time at Stamatis place. His mom, a charming lady, waited for us at the local parking and showed us the way while explaining what we can find in the village. Very thoughtful was the fact that they left for us couple of bottles of water, soft drinks and even some food, enough so we didn't have to go shopping the day arrived and just relax. The house is really lovely, I could imagine to spend there way more time. Also the village is super nice and peaceful, with stunning views, many places to eat and trails to hike. The Egialy beach isn't that close if you walk but we rented a car so easily reachable. I really appreciate the fact that this is an OG Airbnb experience, meaning nothing commercial but a place which is owned by a local family.
