Townhome holiday rentals in The Hague

It was our first use of Airbnb. For us, it was the perfect getaway in family. Johan was already expecting us and greeted us in a very friendly way and showed the house. The accommodation was very pleasing, especially the living room with the conservatory and outside the two small garden tables with the chairs as well as the jetty on the water with the beanbag to relax. The kitchen was equipped with two coffee machines and well sufficient pretty dishes as well as all necessary utensils. On the 1st floor were the chic bathroom and quiet bedrooms. We also used 2 bikes from Johan, two more bikes we borrowed from the very nice and helpful neighbors. Everything was fully booked in the rental... Our host Johan was always available to us in a timely manner, gave us very good tips for the sights and eating out. In short: we felt very comfortable, would like to come back and can recommend the accommodation without reservation.

Clean and spacious place and well equipped. Sue was answering fast and was helpfull. Nearby restaurants and market. Parking on the street, we always found a place, even at late evening.

I stayed for a month, and the apartment was great. It was so lovely to sit at the open windows overlooking the canal, the bed was very comfortable, I had everything I needed, and it's a short bike ride to anywhere. The tour of the upstairs was fascinating! Good to know: Part of the beauty of this place is that it's near the center, in the old section. That means there are canals everywhere, it has tons of character and history, and it's easy to get anywhere on foot or by bike. It also means that it is near a touristy area. Don't let that stop you! I don't like the hordes of tourists at all, but I was happy here. I simply rode a few blocks away at the busiest times to escape. And Herengracht itself in front of the building isn't crowded. Sure, canal tour boats glide by, but they're fun to watch. The couch is comfy, the chairs are less so, but two people can enjoy the couch. The kitchen is a little bit worn, but it was clean and served my purposes (I did not cook). I would return!

Very well-equipped house in a perfect location for families with children. Opposite is a large, safely accessible playground with many free attractions. The accommodation is located in a holiday complex with many children's activities, but these are subject to a fee for private guests and are expensive. Payment is made by card or cash (without change). Overall, a very nice stay, even if leisure activities outside the complex are limited and only accessible with a longer drive.

We had a perfect time at elien and frankys place!!! It’s a super charming house that has a great vibe, very very clean, kid friendly and exactly as described! My daughter felt at home and that was important for us! And so did we! Would come back anytime!

This was a perfect house to visit Utrecht. Quiet area and a 5 min walk to be in the centre of town. Tons and Peter were lovely hosts. Great communication and they met us to show us round the house. We loved sitting on the balcony and in the little garden. Utrecht was hot but the house remained cool as it’s surrounded by gardens and trees which was a delight.

We had a wonderful time at Katya and Michiel's house. The videos sent to us shortly before our departure, in which Katya described and explained the individual rooms and devices in detail, were ingenious and very helpful. The free parking in front of the house was no problem. We were able to accommodate our own bicycles very well and safely in the associated garden house. The house is very lovingly and comprehensively furnished. The quiet location was perfect for our bike tours, because you can reach destinations worth seeing in all directions directly from the house on beautiful bike paths (e. The Hague, Scheveningen, Katwijk, Leiden, flower route around Lisse, Delft). Rotterdam can be visited very easily by metro (The Hague – Rotterdam) (day ticket about €10), whereby we cycled to the metro station Voorburg 't Loo (about 4.5 km).

The accommodation was really great overall – exactly as described and very pleasant. The contact with the landlords was particularly positive: always friendly, quickly accessible and helpful. When we wrote about Airbnb, we received an immediate response. Renovation work took place in the neighborhood during our stay, for which the hosts of course could do nothing – they apologized directly, as they themselves had not been informed beforehand. The kitchen could have been a little cleaner, but that was really the only minor criticism. Everything else was great – I felt very comfortable and would book the accommodation again at any time.

Arjan's place is highly recommended! We had a great time at Arjan's place. Check-in was super easy and very flexible with a code. The location is just great. Walking in a few minutes you are on the beach, in the city or in the supermarket. We were also able to park our car within walking distance in a parking garage on the beach. This is also where you can buy a weekly ticket, so parking is not too expensive. The house is equipped with everything you need. There are three bedrooms with very large and comfortable beds. The third bedroom is under the roof and has no door. As a family, this did not bother us, but you should keep it in mind if you want to use the house with friends, for example, as the privacy in the bedroom is not 100%. The cleanliness throughout the house was also great! Brooms, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning supplies were also available. Good for a longer stay.

Yes, the apartment is small…but the LOCATION! Absolutely perfect! We have stayed in other apartments not quite as close to town and they were loud. This apartment manages to be incredibly close and peaceful. Quite a feat! The stairs were a bit of a challenge - my husband’s feet could not fit on them and he ended up taking them backwards. I just went sideways. Tall guys beware! And the space is small - but the secret is to get out and see everything around you. The windows bring in the light so you feel pushed to go out and explore. Enjoy!!

Our family had a fabulous stay in Utrecht at Laurens' house. It was very clean, very comfortable, had everything we needed and more. The neighbourhood has lots to do and some great cafes. It's about a 20 minute walk to the historic centre, but not a problem if you rent bikes and there are a lot of bike rental spots near the house. We have two small children and had a great time exploring the nearby neighbourhood playgrounds and bike routes. There is a great animal park nearby, too. We would highly recommend this house to anyone who is staying in Utrecht. Hopefully we will be back in a few years! Thank you, Laurens and Tiffany!

Super location! Accommodation was exactly as described/in photos. Hank was proactive and responsive with communications. A lovely house with authentic Amsterdam character, brilliantly located for exploring all the main attractions - and chilling by the canal. Would highly recommend.

The stay was great! The place was the same as in the description – clean, nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need. The location was quiet yet central - everything is easily accessible on foot or by train. Roel is very friendly, helpful and always responded quickly to questions We would come back anytime and can fully recommend the place!

Stayed for a week at Sharona's beautiful townhouse. Loved the decor and appliances. Sharona was so quick to respond to questions. Check-in and out was super easy, parking outside was close to the entrance for easy packing and unloading the car. We were 4 adults and liked the dishwasher for easy clean-up after cooking. Good selection of cleaning products provided, very clean facilities. Linens smelled fresh. Big bathroom with cabinets to store and organize toiletries between the 4 of us, taking a hot bath was delightful. One thing that could be improved are dressers to store clothing. Like other reviewers noted we also lived out of our suitcases for the duration. My mother adored the space and her room, she said she'd consider airbnbs in the future to hotels for the cost and space convenience. Grocery store 2 min walk from the townhouse. We were approached by the neighbors who demanded to know who we were and why we were here. He said we seemed suspicious and asked our intentions.

Nice house, clean and well equipped. A small inconvenience having the 2nd bedroom in the attic, but we were ok.

This whole house on the wharf of the Oudegracht canal is amazing. So close to the city centre and Twijnstraat has many cafes and shops - both food and other. Jan Paul was super helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend a stay on the wharf.

We loved staying in Heidi's home. it was very easy to find with a train stop right across from the house. the house itself was very clean, the beds were comfy and the garden is a lovely addition. there are playgrounds near by so ideal for children we did have a couple of issues but Heidi was quick to respond. overall it's an ideal location for a family.

Marie's place was outstanding and we had a great stay. It is super quiet and comfy, shops with everything you need nearby, calm yet close to the center. Would love to come again!

Beautiful flat with a well stocked kitchen. The location was close to everything. The stairs are more like a ladder but once you get used to them they are fine. Overall a very nice, clean ,comfortable place to stay.

Monique warmly welcomed us to her charming home. On the ground floor there is a covered hallway with a small bathroom. Behind the front door is a nice living room with open kitchen. On the upper floors is the bedroom with an open bathroom. The house has a great location! It's only a 5-minute walk to the beautiful, large beach. There are also plenty of bars and restaurants just a short distance away. The city center of The Hague is only 15 minutes by tram. We will definitely stay with Monique again next time we are in The Hague :)

Perfect holiday despite changeable weather and rail strikes. Adrie and Sacco are lovely, kind people..thank you so much! House is very well equipped in a brilliant location. We enjoyed long walks around Juliana park and the new city beach and of course around the boat havens. We hope to come back next year.

Dirk and his Wife were there to Welcome us upon our arrival and recommended lovely places for us to buy local cheese and have Dinner. The town is so beautiful and perfect for relaxation and the Location is near all amneties (groceries, shops, Center of the Village with cafés and a Saturday Market!). It's very walkable and cyclable and most Restaurants we're dog-friendly. The Cottage House was modern and equiped of a full kitchen and a cute terrace at the back with an Outdoor Fireplace that we used every night for romantic Moments. It was decorated with taste all whilst representing hygge. We really enjoyed our prolonged weekend in Huizen!! Thank you for having us!
