In the middle of the Groene Hart, in the neighborhood community the Tempel, is the control nursery and also since June 2023; Bed & Breakfast Casa di Templo.  In Casa di Templo you to enjoy the rural surroundings with the village church on the horizon, the whistling birds that fly by, the quacking frogs in the ditch, cows grazing in the meadow and the chickens in the garden that lay fresh eggs in the morning. Breakfast can be booked separately.

Het havenkantoor stamt uit 1900. Eind 19de eeuw was er zoveel industrie en scheepvaartverkeer dat de grachten in de binnenstad het niet meer aankonden. Daarom werd de Laakhaven gebouwd. Vanuit het Havenkantoor hield de havenmeester met zijn adjuncten toezicht op de haven en het scheepvaartverkeer. Het gebouw is nu een bijzondere boetiek hotel met geworden met alle hedendaagse luxe.
