Holiday rentals with breakfast in Texas

A wonderful place to relax away from the crowds at our son's graduation from Texas A&M, and an easy drive to Houston. Everything is just as shown in the photos and described, and John was very responsive and helpful. We especially enjoyed the history - of the house, the Fanthorp Inn historic site (and their very friendly and knowledgeable volunteers), and "downtown" Anderson with its 2 antique stores and Toasted Tomato (we didn't have a chance to try the others). As an old house with lots of character, it does have some quirks (steps up to the house and down to the bathroom) that may make it challenging for those with impaired mobility, but with handrails my 80-year-old father had no problems. We hope to come back again sometime!

A very nice place to stay for a night, as we did. Very clean! Easy instructions for everything we needed. The location was fairly close to the main place I was for most of the trip. Overall a very worthwhile place to stay.

There is a reason that Mary has so many 5-star reviews! We came for my husband's birthday and this stay was everything we hoped for and more—a peaceful, private retreat nestled in nature that gave us the perfect chance to unwind together. The cabin was so cozy and the views were amazing. We loved sipping coffee on the porch, watching the deer, and stargazing at night in the hot tub. Mary thought of every detail, from the personal welcome, to the wine waiting for us for my husband's birthday. Communication was excellent, and we felt completely taken care of throughout our stay. If you're looking for a quiet, intimate escape far from the crowds, this is it. Can’t wait to come back!

Darlene has a beautiful guesthouse. The surroundings are beautiful, quiet, serene and very peaceful. The home is very clean, she had plenty of linens, xtra blankets and pillows, just anything you would need. comfortable furniture, nice big TV, outside patio with plenty of seating and a Blackstone. The kitchen was a dream if you like to cook. A very fully stocked kitchen, which is very appreciated. Darlene was very responsive to any questions, and we loved her homemade banana nut bread and fresh eggs. Will absolutely be back, great Airbnb

We had a really good stay at Holly‘s place. Her attention to detail is impeccable. She goes above and beyond to make you feel right at home. The place itself is super cute very peaceful and quiet. Also the location is close to the freeway and easy to get to downtown.

Nice tiny home. Clean, easy parking by the front door, kitchen is usable. Drinking water from reverse osmosis spigot on the kitchen sink. Difficult to find the light switch for the chandelier in the living room - it's hidden under the bottom of the TV. Murphy bed is nice but very heavy to pull down and raise. Loft has two twin mattresses, but no window treatments so it gets light at dawn. Needs a small fan in the loft - it's a bit warm. AC is just like the units in Europe, with a remote control. Overall a very nice place to stay, would stay there again.

Melanie's ranch home is a nice accommodation for the price. It is private and peaceful on a large acreage property. It is convenient to local wineries and equally distanced between Johnson City and Fredericksburg. The kitchen is well stocked and easy for entertaining. We had one issue with the ranch dogs barking late at night, but Melanie took care of it immediately. For guests with mobility issues, just know that the only access to the upstairs bedrooms (one which is a loft with no privacy) is a narrow, spiral staircase. I would recommend this for a quick getaway for a girl's weekend. We had a blast!

I’ve stayed at Marina’s smaller (adjacent) place several times and find it easy to come and go from the location. The historic neighborhood west of downtown is interesting. I like Marina’s delightful sense of design and have felt right at home in both her places. Her larger place has every amenity, a full kitchen; washer and dryer, comfortable bed in a quiet room. They are my go-to when I have errands in El paso or am flying out of the airport there.

Jane was more than accommodating and went the extra mile to bring my pup some treats on our second day of the trip. My puppy had found some thing to disassemble while I was out on business and Jane an agreeable and negotiable as I promised to pay for anything that needed to be replaced. She didn’t even request any amount as to what I need to pay so I paid what I deemed a fair amount would be and she was more than agreeable with what I had offered. 10-10 would definitely recommend and would stay here anytime I was in town.

The apartment is super cute and clean, easy to access, and secure. In a great area close to everything, with ride share and delivery services readily available (I was in town for a friend’s wedding so I relied on being able to come and go easily and order in, so all was super convenient, but there is a full kitchen available). The host is very helpful with getting checked in/out and making sure you’re all set. The bed is very comfortable too, and it was an overall peaceful place to stay!

It was a very nice and very much appreciated stay. The value of this stay was amazing. I’m really glad we were able to stay here for a couple of nights. Definitely recommend especially if you’re new to the area.

We loved our stay here! It was quiet (except for the train which really didn’t bother us), comfortable and a great location. We really appreciated the goodies left for us, especially the cupcakes from her bakery and the milk to put in our provided coffee in the morning. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom and bathroom were very roomy and perfect for us. Would definitely stay here again!

Just as described on the listing. Close to downtown, can walk places or Uber/Lyft. Was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our 2 night stay here!

Elizabeth’s place is delightful and well appointed. It is perfectly set up for long or short term stays. The attention to detail is spot on. The apartment is just a short walk from Main Street and all it has to offer. We own and operate a B & B 200 miles from here so we speak from experience when we say your stay in Grapevine will be very comfortable here.

Quick stay, but great locations and responsive host.

The golden sun cottage was gorgeous. And all the plant life in the outside is so tranquil and made us feel so relaxed. We loved the pool and the hot tub. It’s a perfect romantic getaway and we could even see us coming back with our friends! Definitely recommend staying here especially with an amazing price for such a heavenly home

The location was perfect for attending concerts at Floore's and exploringthe cute shops nearby. Waking up and smelling coffee and sasuage was amazing too. The coffee shop staff were kind, helpful, fun, and fast. Getting in was easy. The hosts, Jennifer & Phil gave clear instructions. The house was cozy and quiet. Sitting on the inclosed porch area sipping tasty coffee, snacking on baked goods, and listening to the birds was a wonderful way to start the day. We definitely plan on going back next time we watch a concert at Floore's.

We had an amazing weekend! The farm was a perfect escape from the city, offering a peaceful atmosphere and fresh air. My kids absolutely loved interacting with the animals of the farm. It was a joy to see them so engaged and excited. A fantastic getaway for anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature!

This is my third time staying at Adis & Jose’s place as I was planning my cross country move to Austin and my daughter and I have loved our stays here. They’re both kind and accommodating hosts and I would absolute recommend their place to everyone!

We had such a wonderful time we didn’t want to leave! The host was kind enough to provide some groceries for breakfast stocked in the fridge. The place was really well decorated to feel like an authentic Cowboy/cowgirl residence. I was impressed with the details! The bad was super comfy to sleep in as well. We enjoyed just walking around the property and saying hello to the longhorns too. The stars lit up the sky at night and was unbelievably beautiful!! Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

Nancy was a lovely host and the property was fantastic! We were in town for a wedding at Camp Lucy and this property was PERFECT for staying very close by. The property was private, quiet, clean and easy to find.
