Holiday rentals with lake access in Tenero-Contra

Absolutely lovely stay! The villa is beautiful, clean, and very authentic with a cozy atmosphere. The host was incredibly kind, she gave us great tips on places to visit and a local café that was both delicious and affordable. We especially appreciated being allowed to leave our luggage after check-out, very thoughtful! The view is stunning, the beds are super comfortable (both a large one and two smaller ones), and the bathrooms were great. We also loved the little treats left for guests, such a sweet touch. Highly recommended, and we hope to come back soon!

Andreas place is great. Extremely clean and tidy. Had everything we needed for our stay in lake como. The view is stunning. It’s also in a good location. Great host, very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend. Only thing to note is dervio is a 15/20min walk for the nearest trains and busses which we didn’t mind as enjoy walking.

Clean, large apartment, 4 spacious bedrooms, fit a group of 6 as we were. Central to area attractions. Nice homeowners are inviting.

Everything was perfect, very clean, comfortable The kitchen is very well equipped. And our favorite place is the balcony with an extraordinary view! A nice, neat apartment, you feel very good. Thank you for these hours of happiness!

Amazing host and a breathtaking view. Too bad we couldn't use the pool due to cold windy weather but had an amazing time with family and kids. with only 10 min drive to local attractions and ferry. I would highly recommend this Michele and his property.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The water pressure and hot water were excellent, and the bed was super comfy. The views were absolutely amazing and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The location was perfect, just a short, easy drive into central Menaggio. Riccardo was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Eros and Daniel were the most incredible hosts. The house was beautiful, spotless, and felt like a true escape. Fresh towels and sheets, no bugs, and the private garden with lake views was absolutely stunning. We were walking distance to amazing restaurants, a market, a local bar, and a gelateria with some of the best gelato we’ve ever had. It was also an easy cab ride to Bellagio to catch the ferry to Tremezzo. Eros and Daniel went above and beyond for us. At one point we couldn’t figure out how to turn the stove off and they arrived within minutes to help. Their kindness and care made this one of the best stays we’ve ever had. We wish we could have stayed longer. This was a perfect experience in every way. 10 out of 10.

The house was clean and easily accessible. It’s in a beautiful location close to the lake!

We spent three relaxing nights at studio 'Il Tiglio' hosted by the extremely charming, attentive and helpful host, Clara. The apartment is exactly as described, well designed, minimal, simply but effectively fitted out. The quiet village is located at the foot of a spectacular mountain surrounded by farmland and forest. There is a picturesque waterfall a very short walk from the apartment and an outdoor bar where local cheese, meats, wine and very onion good soup is served. We were also very happy to have use of the Ticino pass which allowed us to explore the wider area including the grand three castles of Belinzona (a UNESCO site), walk to the spectacular Tibetan Bridge and take a cable car from Monte Crasso up to Montera for a wonderful walk through beech, oak and pine forest to the snowline.

We had a great stay at Ana’s place. The apartment was clean, comfortable and walking distance from everything we needed in Lugano. Ana was also a brilliant host and very responsive to our questions. Would definitely recommend!

The only thing disappointing is that we did not stay here longer. what a wonderful retreat away from hustle and bustle of the cities. Truly a retreat. We immediately came in dropped our bags and fell asleep on the sun chairs while taking in the peaceful scenery. Do yourself a favor and do not listen to people when they say you can do Lake Como area in 2 days. Stay a while and enjoy the peaceful nature and definitely stay here.

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I have ever had. Mario was very proactive with contacting me and responding to questions. He very kindly came to pick us up from the station due to the heavy rain when we arrived. He also have us a very thorough explanation of the house and the facilities. All this before mentioning the house itself! It was perfect! The view is beautiful and it was spotlessly clean and better than the photos. It's was absolutely suitable for our group of 4 (one couple and two single adults). There is a lining room and balcony where you can sit together and separate bedrooms to get away to. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

This is a one of a kind airbnb - an extremely beautiful home. Great for a romantic trip. If you are planning to do significant travel in between towns, it is a bit more difficult location-wise as it is a ~20-25 minute walk (no sidewalk) to Torno for ferries and taxis are hard to come by, but you can plan your day around the ferry times. Monica was very responsive and made check-in easy. Would stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful apartment! The space was spotless, stylishly decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The bed was cozy, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the overall atmosphere made us feel right at home. One of the best parts was the location—just steps away from the ferry terminal, which made exploring the area incredibly easy and stress-free. Daniela, the host, was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, friendly, and very responsive to any questions I had. She even allowed me to check in early, which was a huge help and really set the tone for a relaxing stay. Her hospitality made the whole experience even better. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area, and I’m already looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Erica picked me up when I got off the bus and welcomed me very warmly! Your beautiful cottage is close to the beach and has a fabulous view! There are two restaurants in the village, but you can also be in Italy in a few minutes, where there are beautiful markets! And the beach bar is only 2 minutes' walk away, so you can easily hang out there! ☺️Erica was always ready when I had a question and I'm looking forward to the next time! Stay healthy, dear Erica! Our family really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful apartment. You are only a 10 minute walk to the bustle of Bellagio, but a quiet walk into Pascallo makes you feel right at home. It is quiet, safe, clean, and right by the water. Upon arrival, Claudia was there to greet us. She made us feel very welcomed and we felt like we understood how the apartment worked and where to go to find everything we might need. Our daughter was actually not feeling well when we arrived. Claudia helped us as much as she could and even offered to drive us into town to get some groceries Throughout the week. She checked on us and it was such a treat to be able to have our laundry, cleaned and folded during our weeklong stay, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. This was the best Airbnb and host experience we have ever had.

We loved the place! Awesome scenery, beautiful house, quiet and great energy.

The location of the cottage was as wonderful as the pictures suggest, you're far enough from the waters edge to have a sprawling view, and close enough that nothing interrupted the view. Cinzia was very responsive and helpful and the added touches (pastries/wine) were much appreciated. Nesso is beautiful little spot, it can get reasonably busy because of the waterfall and the road from Como to Bellagio is rarely quiet (although we couldn't hear it from the bungalow). Be prepared for some hilly steps though, we clocked up 110 floors of climbing one day (for info, the Twin Towers were also 110 floors!). We found and Cinzia recommended a wonderful restaurant called Il Briisa which we would go back to in a heartbeat. The food, wine, service and ambience were all spot on. Overall, fantastic, it was a surprise break for my wife's 40th birthday and it delivered perfectly.

The accommodation is sufficiently large with a bedroom, a living room, a small kitchen and a bathroom. the location is fantastic with a view of the lake and a small beach is also in the immediate vicinity:) The accommodation was clean and the kitchen is equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils. we will be happy to come back

Frederico's apartment is a little piece of paradise on earth. The view is amazing. They were super nice during our conversations and gave us great recommendations on what to visit in the area.

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!

It was like paradise! A huge garden, private beach - what more could you want... A trip to Orta by boat (absolutely!!!) The dog Mogli also liked it very much 😄

It was a fantastic vacation. The place is even more beautiful than the images show—a perfect location for relaxation. The house has a boat to get around (restaurants and food shopping). Before we came, we thought getting around with a ship would be difficult, but it became the vacation's star and made everything magical. We used it several times each day and had so much fun. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Mattia was excellent and responsive. His dad even came around to show us how to fish. Couldn't have asked for more from a host. Highly recommend 5/5 on all accounts,

What an AMAZING stay! The cottage is exactly as described and pictured, but the pictures on the listing simply don't do justice to the true beauty and views you will experience here! We spent 3 days here after a cruise and it was the perfect location to unwind and slow down! We enjoyed sitting on the terrace as the best part of our trip to Lake Como! Sara is incredibly helpful and gave us some recommendations even before we arrived! And you MUST make the short walk down the hill to Riverside Snackbar (her family restaurant!) to eat and take in the views! The cottage was the perfect place for us to stay. Perfectly located outside of Bellagio and the crowds. Close to a local market. Yet still close enough to go into Bellagio and ferry around to other villages for the day! We hope to get to return someday as this may have become our favorite place in the world!!
