Holiday rentals with lake access in Locarno District

Tucked into the stunning Verzasca Valley, this cozy stay was a peaceful gem. The views were incredible, and the room was spotless and comfy. We were only there for one night, but it left a lasting impression—would happily return!

The place was ideal for 2 couples with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything was there and more. It was clean and it had a spacious terrace with a one million dollar view. Well-equipped kitchen, wood for fireplace were ready. Christoph gave us tips and he was accommodating at check-in and checkout. Thank you for the lovely stay - we will be happy to come back.

There were five of us. All persons between 60 and 87 years of age. The house really has everything you could wish for - from the furnishings, to the kitchen and bathroom equipment, to the beautiful garden with the magnificent view. There was nothing missing! We were personally received and instructed by Paul and Silvia and therefore immediately felt very comfortable. Due to the central location of the accommodation in the "Sopra Ceneri", excursions throughout the canton are possible within a short time. We recommend arriving by car. Thanks to the charging station for electric vehicles, you have enough "juice" in the battery every morning, even for longer trips. We are already looking forward to the next visit and thank you very much!

Unique house with stunning views and great character

Super easy to reach, super clean, super location, super nice and super fast felt at home. Our little dog Tari was also delighted and welcome. We will be happy to come back anytime.

Casa Leonardo is a beautiful, affordable apartment that offers all the infrastructures for an extended weekend and longer vacation stays. We felt very comfortable in the apartment. The apartment is perfect for the warm summer months as the thick walls well insulate and the veranda offers plenty of space for cozy meals in the sun.

Our week-long stay at the lake was super nice and relaxing. Being able to swim a few laps right after getting up is quite wonderful and a good start to all the other activities that are easily possible from the house. Next time we would definitely want to stay longer.

Rodo is a fantastic host! He assisted us throughly at both checkin and checkout. The apartment is exceptionally large, well-equipped and perfectly located with the bus stop right accross the street, very close to the super market and several restaurants within 80m. The apartment comes with 2 sets of keys (something I appreciate a lot). I very much look forward to visit Locarno and Rodo again!

We stayed at Piroska's for the weekend for a wedding. The apartment was as described and was very clean. It has all the necessities. Piroska was very responsive and accommodating. Everything was perfect.

Great location with a lovely view on the lake and the nearby church. The flat is perfect for a few days in Ticino, good restaurants nearby, quiet private garden meters away from the lake. Graziella is extremely helpful and friendly - she shared many info about the flat and had good ideas for our stay, always responsive and helpful. We felt welcome and at home. 10/10 recommend it !

Very cozy place with a big garden and plenty of space.

The accommodation is really very nice, especially the terrace, from which you have a wonderful view of Lake Maggiore. The apartment is very well and high-quality equipped and very tastefully furnished. The lake is minutes away by foot. The communication is very friendly and uncomplicated, we will be happy to come back.

We stayed in the apartment for 4 weeks. My daughters with small children, 17 and 20 months, were alternately with me, then with different friends. The apartment was great for everyone. Above all, the many children's books and toys were fantastic. Only the bathroom was sometimes a bit of a bottleneck, when everyone shared the shower alternately in the morning. The kitchen is very well equipped, a little small for cooking for several people. There are also enough washing machines in the basement to go wash at any time. The surroundings are fantastic. Everything is very quiet. We went swimming every morning right down by the lake. Great restaurants nearby. The Lido is also within walking distance. We were really sad to say goodbye and would love to come back. I can highly recommend the apartment to everyone :-)

Emanuele is a great host! His place is extremely well organized and is exactly shown in the photos. The house is very clean and comfortable. He is very responsive and helpful. His property is located just behind the beach therefore very easy access to the lake. Very peaceful vicinity. The view from balcony is fascinating. Our stay was beyond our expectations! I would definitely come back this property.

Such a peaceful, charming house to stay in. Loved it

We had 4 great days in Ashley's apartment. The traffic on the street was audible, but did not bother us. The lake access and park can be reached in a few minutes on foot and we were able to really enjoy the time there. The Osteria is also less than 5 minutes' walk away and there is fine, seasonal food in a cozy atmosphere, we all ate there 3 evenings. Ashley was very accommodating and helpful.

We stayed at Giulio's beautiful Rustico from Friday to Sunday – and it was just perfect! The house is furnished with a lot of love for detail, authentic, cozy and in a fantastic location. Everything was very clean and well prepared. We would like to highlight the communication: Giulio was always available, warm, helpful and gave us many great tips about the area. Already in advance, the exchange was very pleasant and straightforward – you immediately feel welcome. We can fully recommend this special place and will be happy to come back!
