The spot is beautiful, right near Bruny Island Cheese Co and you can sit inside or outside and admire a glorious view. It was so peaceful and nature-filled. The beds are comfy and cosy, and there is everything you need inside. Linda’s communication was prompt and responsive.

Cherie’s place is a quiet little gem, with a wonderful view on the sea. It is cosy and you feel just like home!

Felt very homely and when the weather is cold, the inside of the house heats up nicely. Really liked the quality of the bedding and comfortable beds. Brought our small dog who remained safe in the well enclosed back yard. Found the host easy to communicate with and was friendly. The wood heater is very charming and really heats up! Overall we had a really nice time and we’re glad we booked here. It was a great holiday experience.

A unique experience , Scott’s place is a wonderful peaceful getaway , surrounded by trees within a very short stroll to the beach . The floor to ceiling windows really make you feel like your emersed in the natural environment . The contemporary design , well stocked kitchen and facilities in general make for a very comfortable stay . The fabulous beach and easy reach of the Freycinet peninsula make this an ideal place to explore Tasmania’s incredible east coast . Watch the sunrise over the freycinet peaks then go for a morning dip , it doesn’t get much better .

We loved our stay at Sunrise - very comfy beds, very clean, appreciated the milk in the fridge, beautiful views, great kitchen to cook in, very warm, Table tennis table was fun, lots of gorgeous birds, quiet neighbours thanks Jan we cannot wait to come back!!

Beautiful spot to spend a long weekend. So close to the beach and amazing to hear the wave crashing at night. Even though it rained quite a lot, we were explored the coast on foot, raced waves on the sand, and stayed cosy inside with the fire on and soup cooking on the stove. Kids loved all the games. Husband got out for a mountain bike ride and loved reading the retro mtb mags! Thanks for having us!

Can highly recommend! Honni is a fantastic host and the beach house really has everything you need. The view (both directions) is just incredible. It was clean, tidy and well presented. The weather was cold and raining at times but the fire was lovely and cosy. An amazing place to stay!

Petrea’s place was absolutely perfect! It’s very clear that a lot of thought and effort has gone in to ensuring that guests feel comfortable and very much at home. The decor and furniture make for a perfect setting for a cosy night by the stunning fireplace, beds were extremely comfortable and everything you may need is provided. Great location, great value for money and an overall great vibe…. We did not want to leave. Thank you Petrea!

Ross is the most beautiful village to unwind. Great cafe. The house was lovely & warm. Great space in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend.

We loved it. It felt like arriving at home. The garden is magnificient, the plants inside are stunning. The kitchen is extremely well equipped to cook. The fire place is gorgeous. We have a great time.

Great place for big groups as plenty of space to entertain. First impression was very homely as it was warm with a nice scent throughout. Walking distance from all shops and restaurants is always a bonus also! Would highly recommend and would love to come back again

Chantelle was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. I had a lot of questions, both for myself and on behalf of the group. Chantelle was always quick to respond and happy to assist. Her communication was excellent, and she was flexible with our check-in times, which really helped accommodate our busy schedule. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was so well-equipped, down to all the essentials, which made staying in really enjoyable and convenient. I’d definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tassie.☺️

Wow what an amazing home with a luxurious feel. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more. The magnesium pool was clean and warm and lovely to relax in. The bedrooms were extra comfy and perfect for our party of 4 with a double or queen bed each! Plus three bathrooms between us. Thankyou for a great base to explore the Bay of Fires and Halls Falls. It was just perfect 🙏

Lovely place in a lovely location not far from Cradle Mountain. It felt cozy and there were many pademelons on the driveway at night. Would recommend for anyone going to the Cradle Mountain area

This was such a beautiful place to stay. Mieke’s property is gorgeous, and we felt right at home in the Mountain Nest. Hard to believe you’re only 10min drive from the centre of Hobart! Thank you so much Mieke for hosting us and for being such a lovely host. We will be back 😊

A lovely stay in such a peaceful hidden away location - with only the sound of distant cows... bliss. Nice & cosy with good heating on a frosty night looking at the stars. Our dog enjoyed the little yard whilst we enjoyed the challenge of cooking in the wood stove. The nearby creek is a beautiful spot to decompress too.. Highly recommend!

This was our first time staying in Waratah. It is a beautiful part of Tasmania, being right on the edge of the amazing Tarkine and near the spectacular Cradle Mountain. And staying at Joanne’s place made it all worthwhile. Jo’s place is very modern and cosy. It has all the amenities you need, including emergency food supply if required (which you supplement if you use it). Jo’s place is in walking distance of the main street and you can go through the wetlands to see the platypus on the way. The local Bischoff Hotel serves good food, which Jo put us onto. Jo’s communication was very clear and helpful. We can highly recommend Jo’s place.

I choose Bronwen’s property as she and the property had amazing reviews, location, pet friendly, very reasonable cost and wonderful garden. It was above and beyond any of this. Bronwen has an amazing attention to detail. Everything you need is here. She has so many extras & special touches (fresh eggs, herbs, flowers, choccies, homemade cookies, doggy treats just to name a few) Her pup Tazzie and fur buddy, Emmett were so fun for my pups to play with in her large, well established, fully fenced, gorgeous garden Lovely comfy bed with beautiful light filled spaces We loved being able to drive into the private garage, unpack under cover / secure and walk on into the house. The bathroom is large and beautiful. Amazing shower Even though it was cooler weather, the heat pump kept the house so cosy, I didn’t need to light the wood fire. We can’t wait to come back again, when we’re next down on the Tasman Peninsula Thanku Bronwen, Tazzie and Emmett for welcoming & spoiling us

A lovely stone cottage in a peaceful rural location with stunning views, yet still close to all you want to see and do in the region. The cottage is well equipped with kitchen, living and bathroom downstairs and two very spacious bedrooms upstairs, one of which has an ensuite toilet. We took our dog who enjoyed the walks on the property. There is general fencing of the property, however not a secure dog yard. Nonetheless we felt quite relaxed letting our dog off leash on the property. Phil and Marita are kind and discrete hosts. Phil kindly looked after our pup for a morning as well. Thanks for a great stay!

This was our second stay at the Dune Shack and wow, what an amazing holiday we had as a family! We found plenty of things to do to keep our two year old daughter occupied (not always easy as parents of toddlers will know!) - spotting whales and seals in the bay, building sandcastles on the beach, exploring the garden, gazing at the stars and snuggling up on the couch in the evening. The Shack itself is cosy, warm, clean, and exceptionally well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Thank you Alice and Tim - we just love staying in your beautiful part of the world!

Nice getaway in a peaceful location. The cottage is cosy and maintains its traditional elements whilst still being a practical place to use. Beautiful and creative garden. Jo was very responsive if we had any issues.
