What a beautiful place in the most stunning setting. No detail has been spared - everything is so beautifully thought through and considered. It was pristinely clean and had everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was a wonderful addition after a long day of exploring! We would recommend to anyone. Sarah was a perfect host and super communicative. We’d love to come back.

We stayed for one night and wished we could stay longer, the place was cosy and private, the amenities were great, spa bath, great kitchen, wood fire and extremely comfy bed. Arriving at the property it was instantly peaceful, we were greeted by curious wildlife and a great view of adventure bay. Mish was great with communication and made us feel very welcome and at home. Looking forward to staying again, we definitely think we’ve found our new getaway location. Thanks Mish!

So incredibly lucky to stay at such a stunning escape. Every detail of the place makes it so unique. Had a little welcome basket with local goodies, made me feel very welcomed. Everything was amazing !

What a beautiful place to stay. Love the stone cottage, so peaceful with everything you could need. So much wildlife right at the back door but best part was sitting on the back deck quietly watching the white wallabies each night. The double spa was relaxing and the cottage was a great location - close to the beach and attractions. Liz was a fantastic host and very responsive to any questions we had. She provided lots of prior advice about what to do and see which was very helpful in planning our first trip to Bruny. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay so much! The sauna has a clear glass top and it was an absolute highlight! Such a smart way to integrate the experience with the outdoors. The outdoor shower/tub is also great, gets super cold and super hot, so perfect for a cold plunge post sauna or a hot soak. I loved how the shells on the ground outside create such a lovely sensory experience when we're walking to the front door. Nicholas was friendly and responsive, the place was clean, super cosy, quiet and very peaceful. We felt right at home. We loved the plants, the fireplace and the awesome sound system too! It's not super central, a 15-20 minute cab ride to get to the city restaurants, Salamanca markets, etc, but we thought that was a small compromise to stay at such a perfect place for us. Serene and spectacular. This was the perfect place to stay to switch off from everything. If you’re looking for something wonderfully peaceful but still just a short drive from Hobart this is your place. This cosy home was exactly as described, making for a spacious and comfortable stay

We had a wonderful stay in Derby! The house was beautiful and the sauna was a great addition! You can easily bike or walk into town. The space was very thoughtfully designed and loved the bike stand and wash station. We hope to be back again next year!

We had such a wonderful stay and would highly recommend staying here. I was craving an escape from the city and people in general and this place fit the bill exactly. Deb and Adrian have setup wonderful accommodation and thought of all the little things to make the stay comfy and super easy!

This is a little gem, perfect for a few nights surrounded by trees. We loved splashing in the creek, and started gazing from the rear verandah. Everything was as described and we had what we needed for a lovely stay, despite a big rainy day. Would definitely recommend staying.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - it was as private, peaceful and relaxing as we could have asked for! We spent our time out on the deck or gathered around the fire as a family - enjoying the sounds of birds, star gazing and watching lightening on a stormy night. We had it all! The kids enjoyed the novelty of the tv/dvd and being more conscious of our power use. We took a stack of our own dvds and board games. Overall, an absolutely wonderful 5 night stay! Loved exploring the local area as well. Great Easter lunch at the River Run lodge and wonderful walks from Cockle Creek. Highly recommended.

We had a most wonderful time at this obviously-loved cottage. Plenty to do even if you're not into fishing. We cycled, and kayaked and walked and explored the stunning area. And relaxed with a red wine in front of the fire. Perfectly clean, comfortable and homely and we can't wait to book our next trip

Peaceful, private and beautiful surrounds. Easily accessible flat walks, weather was perfect. Staying in such an old establishment was a bonus !

We had a great 1 night stay at Tina's place. It was a restful, tidy and cosy pod to return to after some local adventures. We both slept 12 hours due to the comfortable beds and quiet location. We were able to cook a hot dinner and breakfast with the kitchen amenities. I would recommend bringing warm socks or slippers if you want to take off your shoes, as the floors were very cold on these wintery days. Very easy location and check in / out. Many thanks.

A lovely stay in such a peaceful hidden away location - with only the sound of distant cows... bliss. Nice & cosy with good heating on a frosty night looking at the stars. Our dog enjoyed the little yard whilst we enjoyed the challenge of cooking in the wood stove. The nearby creek is a beautiful spot to decompress too.. Highly recommend!

Macey went above and beyond to make us very welcome and comfortable . We were able to check out later which gave us a little more time to pack up. We loved the outdoor fireplace the firewood was all ready and well stocked . Very cosy and homey , very comfortable bed and crisp linen. The record player was a hit and enjoyed the board games . Make sure you are well stocked up and prepare if cooking to save time and money with shopping etc however there is enough great cafes and unique restaurants around . Great facilities for dogs and dog friendly beach close by . If there was a laundry it would totally be a 10/10 however that did not disappoint us as it wasn’t a priority . A wonderful relaxing place and totally recommend if you like to be away from the hustle and bustle . Beautiful flora and fauna surrounding in particular the birds and flowers . A home with character !

Friendlies Rest is a serene and beautiful bush/coastal stay. Shannon stocked the place with blankets and hot water bottles to keep warm. There are options of things to do on site including wallaby watching from the hammocks or enjoying a card game inside.

We had a fantastic stay at Leonie's immaculate apartment. Leonie and Peter exceeded our expectations with their hospitality and the welcoming presentation of their apartment. The location is close to Sheffield and the Wild Mersey MTB trails (which we were there for). We'll stay again next time. 👍

Quiet cabin in beautiful surroundings. Close to caves and national parks. Fantastic facilities, heating and beds were so comfy! Thanks for an awesome weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Would 100% recommend, this was exactly the kind of stay we were looking for the location and styling were absolutely gorgeous. All the amenities were wonderful and clean everything was exactly as described and pictured. Beth was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would love to have stayed a bit longer if we had more time xx

This is a truly spectacular stay. If the immaculate architecturally designed cabins are not enough for you, the home-made provisions will seal the deal. This is better than any regular airbnb you’ll stay in, a lovely experience to savour.

Loved our stay, have stayed at many of the options in Derby and this is among the best. Definitely will stay again.

Perfect cabin! The attention to detail was amazing and we really enjoyed how well styled the cabin was with linens and art. Great view from all the windows. Such a cozy stay. Very much appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with pots,pans and utensils to easily cook a great meal.

Great cabin in beautiful surroundings. Great base to explore central highlands and lakes. Cabin is warm, comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed our stay.
