We spent our first child-free weekend in almost two years at Marina and Uwe’s home, and it felt like a grown-up paradise. With no tv, a spectacular view to wake up to, a snuggly bed that was the adult equivalent of a bunk, and surrounded by the warmth of timber we had a relaxed weekend that focused on disconnecting from the frenetic pace of Sydney life. The location was excellent for those with a car and not wanting to stay in the CBD. We hope to be able to visit again.

Karen was very hospitable and made an effort to set up the fireplace before we come back during the sunsets. She's also very friendly and welcoming. I could feel that she's very proud of her place, I believe that's what keeps her enthusiasm going in keeping the place nice for guests each time. Really blessed and lucky to be able to stay in Karen's place. We'll definitely be back the next time we visit Sheffield.

Mieke’s place was warm and beautiful! The view from the deck area was stunning and all the nature, you definitely didn’t feel like you were 5min away from the CBD. It was fantastic for doggies and felt very safe and secure. Would 1000% recommend this cozy place!

Where to begin. Rob and Susan’s place is so incredibly special. We loved every minute of our stay. The place is so beautiful and such a gorgeous piece of history, we felt so grateful to be there, seeing the Richmond bridge from the window. The location is stunning, and walking distance to all of the sites in Richmond. Rob and Susan are such passionate hosts, and clearly put in so much work to make sure everything is perfect, including the generous breakfast provisions (including freshly baked bread!), the lovely decor and furnishings, and the super impressive DVD collection. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Would love to come back one day.

Amazing self contained studio! We were able to prepare our dinner and we had everything we needed. I also needed to do some clothes washing and there was even a clothes airer to hang the clothes which it was very very helpful! Despina is very friendly and welcoming lady, and so is her husband! Thank you Despina, I’m in love with the area so we will definitely be back!

It was such a delight having a few days getaway at Goat Island Bungalow. Katherine has provided a very comfortable, well equipped cottage to stay in. Direct access to the water and Goat Island is a bonus, stunning sunrises and even seeing/hearing the train at the bottom of the garden was a unique experience. We absolutely adored our stay at this charming garden cottage in Glebe. It’s the perfect blend of cozy and quaint, with beautiful touches that made us feel instantly at home. Nestled in a quiet, leafy spot yet close to all the best Hobart has to offer, it was a peaceful and warm retreat after days of exploring. Our host was incredibly welcoming—sharing fascinating local history and giving us great recommendations for places to eat, shop, and explore. We especially loved hearing about the cottage’s past and how lovingly it’s been maintained. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and heartfelt Tasmanian experience. Thank you!

Damien's place is nice, the location is good and very easy to find, the room is large, very comfortable, unfortunately the soundproofing is not very good, I can often hear snoring and footsteps and children's voices in the middle of the night, but the flaws do not cover the good, it is still a very good place

What a beautiful cottage. We loved it…it had every utensil/and spice you need to cook with, and an amazing view. It was close to a lot of walks and we could have stayed for longer…3 nights didn’t seem long enough. Highly recommend. The hostess answered any questions immediately. The wifi worked well and both my husband and myself left, feeling great. A huge thank you to the hostess.

Had a great stay! The property was spotless, just a short walk to the beach and shops, fully equipped with all the amenities—truly felt like a home away from home.

The appartment was perfect for our short stay with everything we needed. Lovely view over the river and very clean and modern facilities. Bed was very comfy and the linen etc was first class. Scott was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Wonderful quiet location away from busy roads that suited our trip perfectly. Beautifully presented unit, with great bathroom and excellent hot water pressure. Comfy warm bed too. Host gave us complete privacy, but was there when needed and very friendly. Will definitely be back.

Sharon and Andrew provided a beautiful villa, very comfortable and homely. Location made for a perfect base for a couple of nights. Communication was easy. Will definitively be recommending to family and friends travelling in the area.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in this beautiful little Airbnb. We love that it’s spacious, clean and has everything you need. The best part is how close it is to Richmond and the bus stop for a bus into the CBD is just across the road. Thanks for having us again!

Had a great week staying at this lovely little studio in West Hobart. It was very comfortable, looked onto a beautiful garden and the host provided great recommendations for the area. There are nice cafes, restaurants and shops in the area and close enough to walk into central Hobart to explore the city as well.

What a great place to stay in Hobart! Perfect peaceful place for a couple. We loved the location and the views are magnificent, overlooking the Derwent. So nice to stay in a Airbnb with top-quality linen and towels and in pristine condition. It was lovely to come back to a warm and cosy place as the weather was rather chilly in Hobart during our visit. Thank you Prue for making our stay so enjoyable and for checking in on us throughout our stay. Highly recommend.

We were very comfortable and everything was provided. Our only issue was the television. Might I suggest that it is checked prior to guest arriving. Otherwise all good.

Simon's place in Sandy Bay was fantastic. The space itself was large, well furnished, and had all the creature comforts and was exceptionally clean. The location was great. The place was quiet and private. It was close to Hobart and attractions around the city were only a short drive away. Two very minor issues (if you would call them that) were that the bed was a little soft compared to what we're used to, and the sound from movement upstairs could be heard from our accommodation. Overall, it was an excellent apartment and I would recommend to others.

Great place to stay. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen and grill. Beautiful and comfortable. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Hobart.
