One of those Airbnbs which you'll stay at once, and will always use as a point of reference moving forward. A perfect stay from start to end. Situated in the most beautiful of grounds - stunning garden with streams, hiking trails, outdoor grill, yet with the most ultra comfortable and modern facilities indoors. Yoshi was most warm and helpful, ultra organized and detailed host. His wife, Kaori, does the most gorgeous flower arrangements, all of which are displayed around the villa. Would definitely return to stay if we were back in the area.

And the tram is very close.Rainbow Songwara is next to the sea.The distance from Mt. Mirror is also very close, you can eat a very authentic and good meal on the way home from the mountain, ramen, sushi, grill.You can also go shopping in Don Quixote.The room is also very neat and clean. Overall a very perfect place to stay for your getaway

We loved our time at Hanneke’s place. She was so friendly and helpful. Her place had everything we needed. She gave us great advice about things to do, places to eat, Japanese etiquette, etc. We met nice people and saw lots of beautiful pottery. We will definitely be back. One tip: if you get off the train at Kami-Arita make sure you’re in the front carriage as they don’t let you out of the rear one. Also be prepared to walk or go to Arita station and get a taxi.

A peaceful, heartwarming stay in a traditional Japanese village. The house is full of charm, the host is incredibly kind and inspiring, and the morning chats over breakfast were truly healing. I loved waking up to birdsong and falling asleep to frogs ，nature’s white noise. Even during Golden Week when most places were closed, I felt completely at peace. I’ll definitely be back!
