Everything was perfect, great accommodation

For the third year in a row, I have enjoyed the fantastic little cottage by the lake! The host Ulrich received me as kindly and helpfully as usual. Here you can really relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. If you sit on the balcony by the jetty, you are guaranteed to see a variety of birds swimming by and in the surrounding forest, there are squirrels and deer that come close. The cottage is incredibly cozy and has everything you could need during your stay. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped and charcoal is available if you want to grill outside instead. The little cottage on Vättersö has become a nice annual tradition for me and I am already looking forward to next year!

We stayed at Susan and Greg's house for a week. The two were extremely friendly and accommodating and the small conversations in between made you feel all the more comfortable. The house itself is lovingly and comprehensively furnished. We didn't lack anything. In about 15 minutes you are in the city of Ljungby and you will find everything you need in terms of local supply. On site there are plenty of hiking opportunities. The adjacent lake can be used by boat and probably also crossed. In the end, I can only say that we all felt very comfortable and would be happy to return if it pulls us back towards Ljungby.

We felt completely at home from beginning to end. Top amenities, cozy furnishings and the large terrace on three sides of the house, everything is great. The only thing that was sometimes annoying were the young drivers who liked to turn up the engine on the street. But most of the time it was wonderfully quiet. The location with the swimming spot in sight and hiking trails starting right at the house is perfect. We didn't meet Daniel in person, but he always kept in touch via chat and responded super quickly. We highly recommend this property.

Nice little house in a quiet area. Short distance to the convenience store and the E4 road. I highly recommend it.

An incredibly beautiful house, with a large balcony and a nice lawn with sun hours. Very cozy and nice inside the houses, we rented both houses and were incredibly pleased. Fredrik is a great host who responds quickly and is helpful. Thank you for this time, we will be back :)

Hello, we were there with 5 friends and it was all as described. Communication with the hosts was very easy and fast. The lodge is in a completely secluded location, so you should definitely have a car on site. I definitely recommend staying at the lodge if you like peace and nature. Kind regards, Niklas

The ONLY problem with this place is that we couldn’t stay for longer because it was the end of our Sweden tour. It is AMAZING here. Best hosts, incredible breakfast, GORGEOUS house, great sauna, wooden decks, cool design, soft fluffy beautiful bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. I am literally crying as I drive away because it was so incredibly beautiful and the hosts were awesome. Go here! You will NOT regret it!

We really enjoyed our stay at the tinyhouse and can recommend it to any other traveller. The train ride to Stockholm is very short and easy to handle.

Fantastic cabin for summer and winter activities. It’s was a complete spa experience for us. Recommended.

A peaceful and beautiful place - we stayed for five nights and used the sauna and hot tub on a daily basis. The Baltic sea is only a few minute's walk away. Since the sauna is in a separate house, you have lots of space in the actual accommodation. Stockholm is less than an hour away - we used our rental car to get from the premises to our POIs. The hosts are super responsive and helpful. We recommend this place and would come back 👌🏼

The stay was very nice, the sauna and the area with the lake and the small jetty was really great! :) The hut was clean, you had water containers available for washing dishes, showering... and firewood was also ready to use for the stove, which kept the hut nice and warm. The toilet was also clean. We would come back!

We had the most amazing stay at Lennarts cabin, and they made us feel very welcome and at home from the beginning! We loved spending time in the nature, swimming in the lake, relaxing in the sauna, fishing etc. etc. Very recommendable!

Our time with Pieter was incredibly beautiful. The accommodation is stylish and furnished with attention to detail, so we immediately felt at home. The accommodation was super clean and there was nothing to complain about. Pieter is a funny, likeable person and we can highly recommend both him as a host and the accommodation. We loved our stay! The location is beautiful with nice walks nearby. The cottage is very well equipped. The sauna and wharf are picturesque. Ulla and Karl-Gustav are the most fantastic hosts. Very kind, responsive and available but also respect the space. We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful time in the cozy cottage with lake view, perfect for a relaxing break. The facility is modern, very cozy and lovingly thought out. Everything was clean and high quality. A baby bed and high chair were ready. There was a nice surprise in the fridge as a welcome and Amanda brought fresh eggs from her chickens. Outside, a great seating area with a barbecue invites you to linger, with a view of the lake, grazing cows and sheep. We have taken a special liking to the sheep and will miss them very much! In the surrounding area, you can go for a wonderful walk, collect wild herbs or simply enjoy the peace and quiet. A small bathing area is just a few steps away. Another highlight was the beautiful wooden sauna right on the lake about 5 minutes' walk away, which we were allowed to use at any time. Amanda and Michael are incredibly warm and helpful hosts. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back! 🤍

The house is located in a beautiful place, pretty close to downhill tracks and cross-country trails. It is perfectly furnished for a long-term stay, but having a car is must. Hope to get back next year :)

The place is fantastic, it's like heaven on earth ! You can not be disapointed by going there ! The road to the cabin is really nice, as you have to cross the woods ! The lake is beautifull too ! There is a boat that you can use to go on the lake ! I spent a really nice time there ! Melker is easily accessible by messages, Everything was perfect !
