Lake house holiday rentals in Sweden

Great place to be in a week! Cozy cottage with glassed-in patio, lovely terrace and divine view! Equipped with everything you need. The cottage is very private even though the hosts also have a cottage on the island. The hosts are available, but have left us alone in the cottage. The hosts were very nice and helpful both before we arrived and during the stay. Bruno the dog also became our favourite! We had kayaks with us. Nice paddle water from the island and very easy to store three kayaks on the dock. We would very much love to come back and enjoy more days in this paradise.

This was our second time at the beautifull home of Johan. Perfect house on the perfect spot.

An incredible and very special location - we spent a few days here with our 4 year old daughter and we all had such a fun, relaxing time.

We had the most amazing stay at Lennarts cabin, and they made us feel very welcome and at home from the beginning! We loved spending time in the nature, swimming in the lake, relaxing in the sauna, fishing etc. etc. Very recommendable!

Our time at this place was just fantastic! From the first moment, we felt incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness and coziness of the house were outstanding, and the lovingly designed details of the furnishings inspired us again and again. Each room was furnished with so much taste and a sense of something special that it resulted in a harmonious and inviting overall picture – almost like a home away from home. The sauna and fireplace in particular perfectly rounded off our stay and provided unforgettable moments of well-being. An absolute highlight was the snowfall on New Year's Eve, which turned the already picturesque surroundings into a true winter wonderland. This combination of fantastic scenery and exceptional accommodation has made our Sweden vacation just as we had dreamed of it. We would have liked to have stayed longer! We had a wonderful week with Michael and Therese in Nydal. The house is just amazing! Especially the huge window front with the great view of the private jetty with rowing boat inspired us every morning! The amenities are great, everything you need for a great stay is there. In our opinion, the house is perfect for 4 people. The location is quiet, and Mönsteras is approx. 5 minutes. There you will find supermarkets, a gas station, a bakery, restaurants, shops and even a small cinema. We used the central location for some excursions to Öland and Kalmar or to Vimmerby.

Our vacation in the rather cool, windy pre-season May-mid June was a nice experience thanks to the house. There was also a good place to read, enjoy the view, watch animals. Schären property. Good starting point to explore the area. Travel to hikes, kayak or bike tours mostly only by car, about 15 minutes to supermarkets, gas station. Friendly, attentive care by Ms. Kerstin. Will gladly come back!

Marie was very friendly and helpful, even offering to bring extra firewood to the grillspot down the road. The accommodation was very clean and cosy, exactly as described in the ad and on the pictures. The extras at the accommodation are also great: the dock and the further surroundings are great.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The jacuzzi and sauna worked perfectly and added a special touch to the experience. The host was extremely helpful, responsive, and kind—he made everything easy and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and communication was always quick and clear. I highly recommend this place and would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you for a great experience!

Nice welcoming atmosphere. Lights were on for my check in since it was after 2100, perfect. Beautiful surroundings. Lots of privacy.

A pearl on the top of Tjörn. The house was sparkling clean and functional. We had many options to enjoy life on the wind's terms. On the rocks at sunset or in the bright, tastefully furnished living room... Just the light and the sun blessed us from the morning in the kitchen and outside in the nook. Fine facilities and a unique experience, which we will take with us as we dream of a reunion soon. Thank you and best regards.

The house is surrounded by nature and is very near the lake. There are many nice details inside, well equipped, and it's very clean. Communication with the host was quick and easy. It looks like it is not for renting only. So... I would always stay there again.

Great accommodation, perfect if you are many as there are three houses in total that can be rented. It's great that there is the possibility of swimming in the jacuzzi and that it is also only a short walk from the lake with swimming opportunities. Large terrace that is perfect for dinners with larger groups. We were here for my sister's bridal shower and we are all incredibly happy with our choice of accommodation. Quick and easy check-in, which was also appreciated!

We had a fantastic stay at Cassandra's place. The location is absolutely perfect, offering a beautiful view of the lake. Waking up to that view every morning was a highlight of our trip. The area is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, with plenty of hiking options nearby. We spent our days exploring the trails and our evenings relaxing with the stunning lake view. Cassandra was a wonderful host, providing us with all the information we needed for a comfortable stay. The property was clean and well-maintained, and it had all the amenities we needed. Overall, we highly recommend Cassandra's place for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. We can't wait to come back!

I‘ve never slept so close to the sea. Awesome! This house is posh and affordable at the same time. I have to come back to stay a bit longer! Try the Restaurant. A bit pricey but definitely worth it.

We really loved our stay at Lilla Anna! :) The house was very clean and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and the house had everything we needed :) Especially the garden by the water is a dream and perfect for a relaxing and quiet vacation :) Kajsa is a very friendly and helpful host and we always felt really welcome! 😊 We will definitely recommend Lilla Anna to our friends and family and we will come back on our next trip to Sweden ☺️
