Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sweden

I stayed in this accommodation for three nights and felt completely comfortable! Everything was exactly as described – clean, well equipped and furnished with a lot of love for detail. Communication with the host was straightforward and friendly. The location is ideal, quiet yet well connected. It was a bit noisy at times, but overall it did not affect my positive overall impression. The second bedroom was locked, but that was not a problem for us. I can fully recommend it and will be happy to come back!

We stayed in the house for 6 days with my spouse and our child, and we were extremely satisfied with everything. One of the highlights was the stunning sea view — enjoying our morning coffee while looking out at the water was such a peaceful start to the day. The jacuzzi was also a great touch — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it ideal for spending quality family time. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families

Fantastic welcome to the house where there were also beautiful tulips and waiting, a nice touch. Brilliant beautiful house fully equipped with everything we needed. Clean nice and just the environment we were hoping for. Looking out over beautiful surroundings morning and evening! It was an unexpectedly cold weekend when the house is nice to be inside and play games in and we especially appreciated the excursion to Väddö farm dairy with the children. Nice swimming area a short walk away!

For the third year in a row, I have enjoyed the fantastic little cottage by the lake! The host Ulrich received me as kindly and helpfully as usual. Here you can really relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. If you sit on the balcony by the jetty, you are guaranteed to see a variety of birds swimming by and in the surrounding forest, there are squirrels and deer that come close. The cottage is incredibly cozy and has everything you could need during your stay. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped and charcoal is available if you want to grill outside instead. The little cottage on Vättersö has become a nice annual tradition for me and I am already looking forward to next year!

We stayed at Susan and Greg's house for a week. The two were extremely friendly and accommodating and the small conversations in between made you feel all the more comfortable. The house itself is lovingly and comprehensively furnished. We didn't lack anything. In about 15 minutes you are in the city of Ljungby and you will find everything you need in terms of local supply. On site there are plenty of hiking opportunities. The adjacent lake can be used by boat and probably also crossed. In the end, I can only say that we all felt very comfortable and would be happy to return if it pulls us back towards Ljungby.

Nice little house in a quiet area. Short distance to the convenience store and the E4 road. I highly recommend it.

I absolutely loved my stay. It was the perfect spot for my short stint in Stockholm. You are very close to many places and it’s stunningly appointed. Staff were fantastic and made me feel right at home!

Quiet and beautiful area. Close to everything in northern Österlen. Friendly and welcoming from the host. It may be good to keep in mind that the accommodation is a little smaller in sqm than it looks in the pictures. Just enough for two people. Maybe a small child can fit. Otherwise, clean and fresh and has what you need. Extra nice with the small patio.

Just the perfect place to settle in, quiet and calm and cozy. The home is so well appointed with natural fibers stone and materials, with art and design. It is a taste of Swedish culture in practice. If you are tired of staying in airbnb's that feel souless bland & vacant, this place is for you.

Beautiful old house: absolutely right. The home exceeded our expectations. With a lot of love and attention to detail, the house has been refurbished and furnished, restored to its former glory. The nice garden around with different seats made it complete. We felt right at home. Tip: take (with or without children) the (short) walk through the Steentrollenbos!

Super nice house with what you can wish for in decor and kitchen equipment. Nice bathrooms and a stylish sauna. The house is very close to the lifts / slopes and the house has a magically nice view. We have had some great days even if the snow disappeared with worrying speed

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The flat was really clean and the beds very comfortable. Everything is within reach, even by foot and it just offers so much more space per Euro spent than many hotels we had looked at. Really nice and modern apartment in a quiet rural neighbourhood. Everything was as described and communication with both the hosts was great. They also have a farm from where you can buy organic honey, eggs, etc. We had a really nice stay and would gladly come back again. Thanks Tommy and Anne!

We always stop there on our way to Norway. It is close to the highway and with sea view. Very quiet location. Everything is wonderful, we will be happy to come back.
