Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Swanage

The property was perfect, the pictures are lovely and they reflect the quality. The property once there is outstanding and very peaceful. It’s one of those hidden Gem AirBnBs, we loved the stay and will hopefully return.

We had a lovely stay at Sally’s cottage / annex! The cottage is in a great location - 5 mins from Swanage beach and the town, on a peaceful road. The cottage is well furnished with a very comfortable bed / bedroom and great bathroom (the bath was lovely!) Just a quick note the loft (for the second bedroom) ceiling height is very low - it was great and very cozy for our 5 year old but we had to duck a lot to get in :) thanks for the great stay Sally, would love to come back sometime!

We had a wonderful week at the cottage. The village is lovely and the cottage is so close to the Square and Compass pub. Very comfortable accommodation and the views are amazing. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Laura’s place is an absolute gem! It is so tastefully designed and well appointed. The location itself is very special too. Everything has been thought of for a comfortable stay. I loved lighting a fire at night and looking out to the garden in the morning. Laura is super warm and welcoming—knowledgeable about the area too. This stay is one of the best in my books to date! Absolutely worth a visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Amanda was really helpful beforehand, going out of her way to get recommendations as we had our baby with us. In addition, Amanda added extra child-friendly items that were really handy and thoughtful. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated, cosy, feels luxurious and is very comfortable. It was great to be able to walk to the Tesco metro and the patisserie! Easy access to seafront along Sandbanks, and we did a short drive to Alum Chine for an easy beachfront walk to Bournemouth. Highly recommend Oceanarium for children! Highly recommend the cottage and would stay again.

Wow what a house! You will not be disappointed. We felt we had stepped into a luxury lifestyle for the weekend. The spaces were great for the people staying with pockets of people chilling and socialising throughout. The house was very well equipped. The lounge in particular where we all ended the day was such a wonderful space for family to come together. It was a very special weekend and we would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jennie’s home. The location is excellent and parking easy to secure. The house was spotless, the rooms were comfortable and well furnished and the living room had plenty of seating and was cosy for nights in after long days out and about. Even better it is dog friendly so we could have our dog with us - some blankets and throws were provided to help. We’ll definitely come back to stay here again. Thank you Jennie!

We‘ve been to many BnB‘s in the UK but this was definitely one of the best! The house - beautiful and spotlessly clean, the beds- super comfortable, the view from the rooftop - breathtaking, the location- great, super short walk to beach and Pub. Dear Ben, if you ever want to sell your house, please let me know! :)

This beach flat is just in the perfect location for exploring the beach, Rick steins and pig on the beach in studland (5 mins ferry ride). The number 50 bus takes you to all of these . Michelle was very friendly and met us on arrival and showed us around the flat . We would return x

As a family of 4 we loved our stay in this apartment. It is a very homely apartment with beautiful soft furnishing and time has clearly been spent thinking of all the little things that make a stay comfortable (Full length mirrors, very comfortable beds, hair dryer and straighteners to name a few). All the rooms were spacious, and the view from the bay window of the steam trains provided lovely breakfast bar viewing. The beach and town shops, are literally a 5 min walk, handy to have a parking space for the car especially as we hardly had to use it, there is so much in walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Beth’ s place is amazing. A calm and peaceful haven. From the thoughtful welcome card to the incredibly kind extra touches like bread, milk and eggs. Beth has created the most fantastic experience for guests. We had a fabulous 8 nights and really recommend this as a perfect place to stay.

Our son and partner stayed, they loved it. A delightful flat, so fresh and clean. Lovely views and such interesting artefacts dotted around. Very peaceful too. Mt husband and I are hoping to stay later in the year. Highly recommend it.

We had a really lovely 5 days at the Garden Flat. It absolutely lived up to expectations. Quiet location but very easy to walk to the centre of Swanage and the beach. Also almost direct access to the Priests' Way and then coastal walks. The flat itself was very comfortable, exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean. The bed linen and towels are top quality. Lovely private garden space. Highly recommended.

We had a great time staying ( it was our second time!) the flat is beautiful and spotless with everything we needed. Plenty of room for us and two teenagers plus dog! The location is fab, handy for the town but also for the beautiful walk up to Durlston. Thank you ☺️

A lovely couple of nights here. It’s a really beautiful apartment, lovely decor and very clean. We we able to walk to the beach, the town and the ferry port where we got the boat over to Brownsea Island. There’s also a corner shop and Tesco express 5 min walk away!

A great location, incredible view from the bed of the pier and sea. Very nice and clean flat. Comfortable firm bed. Great shower and well equipped kitchen. 5 minute walk to the beach and Flamingo is a really nice and reasonably priced cafe/restaurant in between the beach and apartment. Very helpful and nice hosts. Would recommend every time and we will be going back again in the summer.

Very sweet little cottage, beautifully decorated with everything you would need inside of it. Great location, with a nice pub down the road. We would definitely stay here again and recommend for all. The only downside is that it is situated on a busy road so at night you can sometimes hear the cars, but we didn’t mind.

We had a lovely holiday in this beautiful and very spacious apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean and worked well. Claire's communication was great - quick, clear and understanding. We love the West Cliff area of Bournemouth and highly recommend for families. The only downside was that it being on the second floor of a tall, old property - there were lots of steps up and down!

Perfect location! Amazing seaside views, really enjoyed watching the waves and people watching from the comfort of the sofa/bedroom. Kitchen well stocked and lovely touch of bread, milk, jam and biscuits for breakfast the next day. The sofa bed was really comfy for our two children, and plenty of space for our family of four. Super clear instructions to enter, and the parking permit was a huge plus! Really enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing stay, the apartment is beautiful and in such an amazing location. Our kids loved being able to walk to the beach and playground, and we loved having a great coffee shop 30 seconds away. The living room was great for a slump on the sofa after a busy day. Parking at the pub worked well. Thanks for a great stay!

Lovely stay at Kathryn's flat. Myself and my two small boys spent 2 days here over half term and we had an amazing time. We found parking directly outside, we didn't need to move the car for our whole stay, everything was walking distance. Beach, restraunts, Pier, parks, cinema etc. The flat had all the amenities we needed and it was like a home away from home. I will be sure ti book again next year! Sash

I’ve stayed at this property before many years ago when it was first listed so this was a return trip because of how good it was the first time. It’s great to see its still in exactly the same condition it was all those years ago. Is quite simply one of the most beautiful apartments there is. The location is incredible and it has been decorated with such care and thought. The photos don’t really do it justice even though they are great too. It’s a place you will visit and think “ I would love to live here” Modern with a hint of style overlooking the sea, you can’t really ask for anything more. A lovely touch of being able to check out later was the icing on absolutely wonderful trip. This one isn’t to be missed!
