Beachfront holiday rentals in Swanage

We had a lovely stay at Seaside Cottage, very tastefully decorated, kitchen perfect for what we wanted, hot tub was great, we had a chilled weekend, thank you!

We had a wonderful time at the harbour hideaway. The property is so cute with lovely nautical furnishings. It is a real gem and amazing to be so close to the harbour and we loved watching the bridge go up and the boats pass. The pull down bed was one of the comfiest sleeps ive ever had! We felt very welcome and the dogs especially as there were so many thoughtful touches for them! The permit parking was extremely helpful and we really appreciated Cates local knowledge and proactive advice on a local event which meant we needed to move our car on our last night but it was no panic thanks to Cate letting us know in advance. Thank you, we hope to come again some day and will tell friends and family

Our second stay here and it won’t be our last ! Very spacious, extremely comfortable and sparkling clean.Everything thing works extremely well. Fab kitchen with everything you need. Comfortable furniture and easy to use TV. Enormous comfortable bed and very user friendly bathroom. Definitely not exclusively for people with access problems but for my husband in a mobility scooter it was perfect. Easy and safe parking and perfect location. Are you getting the vibes that we liked it ! We are looking forward to coming back ! 😀😀

Wow, what a stunning location. It's every bit as beautiful as in the photos. We watched glorious sunsets from the terrace and enjoyed walks on the beach. I enjoyed looking around the immaculately kept gardens and could have watched the colourful koi in the pond for hours, plus the two cute horses in the field. Andrew's directions to the house are spot-on, please don't trust your satnav or you risk being taken down some very narrow lanes with grass growing in the middle and no passing places. Ask me how I know. There is no mobile reception at the house, as you would expect given the location, but the wifi is very good. Beds and bedding super comfortable.

A beautiful and peaceful getaway. The hosts Diz and Adam have really thought of everything to make your stay here amazing and the generous hamper waiting for us meant we were well equipped so had very little else to buy. The close walking distance to Milford on Sea and the array of eateries and pub/wine bars meant there was no need to argue on who was driving! We can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful few days staying right on the beach. The hut was well equipped. The neighbours were so friendly and the beach was right in front of us. Thoughtful little touches were appreciated - a polaroid camera for retro snaps, ample tea and coffee for emergencies, and an ipad loaded with kids films for tired snuggles after a long day in and out of the sea. Communication was quick and easy. Good value for a unique spot, thank you.

perfect location for walking with a dog, everything we needed was there, toaster, microwave, kettle, cutlery, and even bread, milk butter and jam was put out for our arrival. Highest recommendation, we will certainly return for another stay

The caravan was absolutely spotless, it was lovely having the two decks, we had lunch on the dining table outside when the weather was so nice. We had everything we needed in the caravan, lots of kitchen bits for cooking and wifi was very good. It was ever so peaceful where our caravan was and everyone was friendly. The club house was lovely, it was so nice to be in such a dog friendly place. The amenities for children were brilliant too. We absolutely loved our stay, we are gutted there is no availability in the summer to come back, but we can see why, its just beautiful. The hosts were brilliant and very accommodating x

We stayed for 3 nights. The holiday house was spacious enough to fit family of 4. Plenty of room to play for little ones. Very clean and well organised. The only improvement I could suggest would be to install slim dishwasher but it was perfect anyway. I would recommend and come back.

Beautiful land convenient location that made it easy to access the local tourist spots, including the New Forest, Beaches, harbour towns and Peppa Pig World. The house was lovely, really well presented and included some thoughtful touches, such as chocolates for our kids, Prosecco for us and a lovely personalised welcome message. The park itself is ideal for younger families, with loads to do and access to the beach. Carly was super responsive when our sat nav took us to the wrong entrance and really communicative before, during and after our stay. We'd definitely considering returning next year.

location was absolutely perfect for a relax and a decent walk everyday, we paddle boarded up the coast both ways and the scenery was stunning and finished most days with a swim in the pool. if you're after a close too everything place too stay this isn't the place for you but if you're looking for a break away from the world then this will tick all your boxes 🤗

We had a lovely time in Richard's place. Everything was as described and immaculately clean. He was very responsive and gave us very clear instructions and very useful tips on local restaurants, things to do etc. The hot tub was amazing and the girls enjoyed using the swimming pool. The location is ideal to get to the Needles, Alum Bay, Freshwater etc and the local beach is an absolute plus! Thanks Richard!

An absolutely amazing place to stay with everything you need. It was perfect for my family with just the perfect number of beds/lay out. The house was immaculate and cleanliness is really important to me. It looked like it had recently been painted/ceilings done. A really wonderful find. A truly perfect location. Would book this again in a heart beat!

Clean and well maintained. Fabulous location, right on the esplanade. Excellent mattresses. West Bay itself; we were worried about the caravan park and that this can generate constant nagging from the kids about sweets, arcades and plastic tat, but there was none of this. It’s a little harbour (good crabbing), a beach and coastal walks with a few ice cream and food options. This week the beach generated very strong waves that were not suitable for younger children, my 11 and 14 yr olds loved it. “Rise” restaurant was superb.

A great host with friendly and effective communication. The cottage is conveniently located just a few steps from the beachfront.

We were two couples staying for a few days in Swanage. The flat is very central, spacious and beautifully appointed to a high standard. We had a great weekend and will return in the future, I'm sure.

Lovely apartment. Everything we needed. Comfortable. Loved the balcony as it gave an unhindered outlook to the bay, which we love and have visited for many years. Daughter and family in flat below so gave us a lovely family holiday. Lovely Sunday lunch at the Albion though need to make sure you have the Sunday roast menu which they forgot to give us!! Hidden away, a little gem in the heart of Swanage with everything within walking distance. The place is presented beautifully, tastfully decorated, exceptionally clean with everything needed for our stay. Lots of eateries, boutique shops with local crafts the beach a short stroll away. Swanage steam train ready to take you to Corfe Castle and beyond. Lots of lovely coastal and countryside walks should you feel inclined all from the doorstep. Just park up and forget about the car for your stay. Thank you to Elizabeth who responded promptly, left local info to mull over and shared her lovely space.

The apartment has fantastic sea views from all aspects of the living space and from the spare bedroom. We could just gaze out of these huge windows all day long. Marvelous. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and decorated and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. The hosts responded almost immediately to a couple of messages that we sent. The mattress was very comfortable. It was nice and warm. We managed to get a space to park outside the Victoria although we had to wait a couple of hours to bag it! We are lucky to have stayed here and cannot recommend it more highly.
