My son and I stayed here for a weekend at the convention center. I find casinos fun in very short spurts, but I avoid sleeping at casino hotels. The Alexander is great for a short stay with young kids. Lots of amenities geared towards family fun. This unit is very clean and quiet with plenty of space for two people (if you are ok sharing a king bed). I got the feeling that this would be a good place to sleep for a mount Rose ski trip too. Good brewery & pizza spots nearby and easy access to freeway. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. And tip: fill out Lusso’s online forms early. I waited until 5pm on check in day. Check in is at 3pm and I assumed 5pm would be fine. BUT, Lusso processes the online forms manually and we had to wait outside about an hour before we could get lockbox code for the keys.

The place was spotless and well equipped with everything you needed, some kitchen stuff could use some upgrades but that’s about it. In a great neighborhood with lots of places walking distance. The neighbors above are loud, but not much you can do about that. If it weren’t for the neighbors upstairs, I would stay again.

This was our second stay at Sherry's and we'll be back again next year. She's a great host and does a great job making sure our stay is everything we hope it to be.
