Monthly Rentals in Stratton

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lesley's cottage. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The location, although entirely rural, was in very easy driving distance to Bude. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, this is the place! Our hosts were attentive and extremely helpful. We had difficulties logging into their Wi-fi and (although it was ten at night) it was sorted out quickly and cheerfully. They gave us several local recommendations for restaurants and we were delighted that they were all excellent. (Don't miss The Tree in Stratton village for well-kept beer and fascinating local history!)

Great stay at Andrew's place, "The Snug", in Stratton. It's got a convenient public car park a 5-minute walk away, is a short drive from the beach, and it made a good base for our weekend. "The Snug" is indeed a snug fit for 2 people, however, it had all we needed for our stay. I have no doubt that had we needed extra support, Andrew would have been on hand to provide it, since he's a warm & welcoming host. Thanks again for an excellent stay!

Just returned home from a lovely few days at Julia's property. Julia and Clive were great hosts who communicated well before and during our stay. They were there to greet us on arrival (and were at hand throughout if required) but they gave us our privacy too. The property itself was totally amazing!! It is beautifully decorated with top spec mod cons...and it was absolutely spotless. We enjoyed the first floor living and fully appreciated the amazing views across the fields towards the sea from the kitchen window. Also the bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. Julia has a beautiful garden and we spent each evening sitting outside enjoying the tranquillity of the countryside and waiting for the sunset. The location of the property was perfect for us as we were completing a couple of sections of the SWCP in the area. We also enjoyed exploring Bude and surrounding area. We would love to return to this property in the future.
