Townhome holiday rentals in Stratford-upon-Avon

This is our 4th or 5th visit to this gorgeous house. It is totally perfect with a cute little garden. Walkable to restaurants and the centre of Cheltenham. Interiors are exactly as portrayed in photos - spotless and well equipped. We love it!

A cosy place with 2 toilets. In pristine condition. While it may be a little away from the city centre, the assigned cark park mean you can rent a car and have the flexibility to do a lot more than just walking around the city conveniently. We enjoyed the stay.

Absolutely fabulous from booking to completion. If you are looking for a stunning location set in the middle of the Cotswolds for a short or long stay this is got to be high up on your list. Property is set on a private estate with three beautiful lakes with most of the properties surrounding them. Melanie’s property was beautifully appointed with everything that you would need for a stay with your family or friends and it had many extras included. Melanie was a great host. She was extremely communicative from beginning to end and paid attention to detail with the little things to make our four day stay even better than we had anticipated. Great few days in a lovely cottage. We were made very welcome by Jennifer and Ewan and also by Stripe, the wonderful and friendly chicken. The location was perfect. It was quiet and peaceful yet right in the heart of historic Ledbury and even better, we could easily walk into the hills right from the cottage. Jennifer's recommendations were very helpful and spot on - we found lovely places to eat and drink. If you like a touch of shopping too the independent shops are lovely and all the people very friendly and cheerful. The cottage is well equipped and perfect for our needs. Mirren’s place, is a wonderful place to stay to explore Stratford Upon Avon. You are able to walk to most places. It has a lovely garden to sit in and is a light and open house. It also has the best shower pressure in a shower that we have come across on our trip around the UK. You will definitely enjoy your stay here.

Great house lovely layout great place definitely nothing bad to be said

A quiet, quaint place with lots of light and space. After a busy day in Oxford, this was the perfect place to put our feet up. There are a lot of pubs, cafes, and restaurants in Jericho, but with a neighborhood vibe removed from the tourists in town. 10 minute walk from the station along the canal and an easy 10 minute walk to town.

We stayed at Elizabeth’s place for 3 nights. It was the perfect location to use as a base for our visit to the Cotswolds. It was in the centre of Cirencester within walkable distance of all facilities. The property was also one of the rare properties with parking which was very important for us. The house had everything we needed, was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all amenities including a nespresso machine which was a big plus for my husband. Elizabeth was very helpful from the time we made the booking and throughout our stay. She got back very promptly to any questions we had. We will definitely consider this property again for any future trips to Cirencester.

This home is a 10/10. It was everything we saw in the photos and more. Very charming and easy to settle in and make it our home for a few days. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were very comfortable and location was perfect! We had our 3 daughters with us and there was plenty of room for all of us! The hosts were so lovely and gracious to accommodate us. They were both very responsive and helpful with everything we needed.

I stayed in this house with my husband, parents-in-law, and two young children. We would definitely return. The house is spotless, beautiful, comfortable, sunny, located near the town center, and has a lovely walled backyard that was perfect for the children to run around. For other guests with toddlers: the number of steps was challenging for our 18-month-old, since the house is 3 stories tall. The street was also a little noisy on the weekends, as people returned from the bars/restaurants on Little Clarendon. Our last AirBnb farther north in Jericho was quieter. But these were very minor challenges -- overall we liked this AirBnb better thanks to the large size and proximity to the attractions of Oxford. The hostess was kind, hospitable, and even forgiving when our 3-year-old got a stomach bug and soiled the carpet! We were very grateful.

What a lovely place! After staying in hotels for the last 10 days, we were looking for a central place to call home to visit friends in Cirencester and tour the Cotswolds. This property is bright, clean and beautifully designed with all of the touches of home (washer/dryer, well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom with tub and shower, toiletries and more). They’ve thought of everything including a welcome basket and helpful guide with information on their space, local attractions, restaurants, transit, etc.). We immediately felt comfortable. Perfect location in walking distance to everything (shops, restaurants, parks, etc.) with a great parking spot at the rear of the property with easy access to their beautiful and well cared for back garden and entry into their home. The icing on the cake was how friendly, flexible and responsive Susie and Harley were. We wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to staying again when back in the area!

Perfect location, clean and just what we needed for a weekend away. Even though there’s no allocated parking, we all found a parking space minutes from the property for 3 cars easily. Host replied to questions immediately. We’d definitely choose this property again, thank you

Had a wonderful time in this beautiful home! We were in Oxford for graduation and the location was perfect! Walkable and close to everything! The space was just as described! The bedrooms are all upstairs, so beware if you have mobility issues. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we could have needed. The whole place was so clean and bright! Loved the little garden and the roses were blooming and smelled like a beautiful perfume! I hope to be back in Oxford someday and would love to stay here again! We loved our stay at Tiddlemouse Cottage, it was comfortable, had everything we needed and more. Very clean and has comfy beds. We had 5 adults and plenty of room to spread out. The location is perfect, close to town and walks. Would definitely recommend.

This is a really lovely house, located in the heart of beautiful Jericho and a minute walk from cafes, restaurants and shops. The house was equipped with everything you could need (including a garden office!) and was really comfortable. It was also very clean and nicely furnished - it also has some really lovely artwork! There are quite a lot of stairs, which we were a bit worried about as we have a toddler, but the host did provide a stair gate. Rosie is a wonderful host; she is so friendly and helpful and was always quick to respond to queries. I’d highly recommend this house!

I have stayed in a number of rental cottages/apartments over the years and I have to say Gilpin Cottage is right up there with the best ! I have no complaints at all, everything was as described and my wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable few days. There were even fans in both bedrooms to help combat the heat at night. I loved the area and may well return in the nor too distant future. All in all, well done Jonathan !

I had a lovely stay in Melissa’s townhouse in Jericho. She was quite helpful and communicative, and the townhouse is very peaceful. There are no walls between the downstairs floor and upstairs, which was just fine for my solo travel. It’s a great location and charming spot!

Just returned from a fabulous weekend. We are a group of four friends (2 couples) and the accommodation suited us perfectly. Chris and Trish are perfect hosts. The accommodation location is so close to everything, the decor and equipment to a very high standard and all the rooms spotlessly clean. Do not hesitate to book here you will not be disappointed! We definitely hope to return very soon.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Amazing location, easy to find, beautifully furnished and very clean. It made a very comfortable and peaceful stay. We would highly recommend and would certainly return.

Colette was an amazing host! The home is absolutely stunning and full of everything we needed for a long term stay. A clean house, Beautiful garden for our dog, and a great walkable location. In extending our stay, Colette was kind enough to come mow the grass and give us access to more essentials like toilet paper, kitchen rolls, and cleaning supplies. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this stay to anyone — and hopefully we will be back!

We loved the location of the house, right in the centre of town, which was great for our group of 8 ladies. It was comfortable, well equipped, and the bedrooms were a good size; many had bathrooms en-suite, which is always a plus. We visited three different restaurants in Stowe over the weekend; on Friday, we enjoyed The Sheep on Sheep Street, on Saturday, the Prince of India, and on Sunday, we had a fabulous lunch at The Bell. We would love to stay at Stowe House again and will recommend it to family and friends.
